Pro seller has been nice in terms of being able to find out where market low is and go percentage up or down from there. The extra 2 percent sucks but still convenient

As a pro seller that almost exclusively sells singles, I can tell you that having a strategy is nice, but that strategy is wholly dictated on the buyers in the end. If you have your price set too low with 1500 cards in inventory, your probably fine. With 15000? Not at all. I never thought it would be an issue, but buyers will essentially DDos your store by buying you out of 200 plus cards if your too low. Sounds like a good deal until you factor in the time and the shipping cost. You lose a lot of money quickly if you do not get it close to begin. The profit margins are slim as is, and you have to move cards quickly and consistently in order to buy more cards to grow, so pricing is extremely more important, IMO, on low priced singles, than sealed or higher valued singles. That is the overwhelming "what if" that I work on every day, as mass pricing is great for setting thresholds, but constantly re pricing numerous copies of lower priced singles is actually a lot of work, for almost no gain.

I have used Market and Lowest listed to price my cards. I will be more selective with the pricing when I am not having to ship to individuals. I have been adding inventory like crazy for this weekend’s sale!

The CSV you get from TCGPlayer has a column for direct low just like it does for Market price. So unless I'm misunderstanding, you should have pretty easy access to that figure.

Yes. I recorded this several days ago and then realized what you're saying. I edited out a longer part talking about wishing I had Direct Low, and missed some bits. =p

I also use a self made solution for pricing updates. I update to lowest listed by a verified seller

For 1-cent cards that you have a major overflow off...why not sell them as a playset for 5 Cents á set ?
