Thanks guys.❤ Those lasso tricks were part of his corded microphone performances. He's lost the tops of many 🎤's. LOL!!!

Apparently he started the microphone tricks to get people’s attention when he was singing at Clubs.

He was shaking hands with and accepting gifts from the audience at one of his Last Time Concerts in 2003 and put them down with the mic and accidentally started singing into one of the stuffed animals LOL!! He's so funny and you could still hear him 😂❤🎉

Ultimate performer. And to think he had to fight to be allowed to sing the songs he loved. His 1st manager really tried to clip his wings. Thank God he was able to finally break through and now we can still enjoy his performances today. Thanks guys.

In one of the interview bids I have, watched there was talk of giving John uppers and downers. Sambell was a very bad influence. (and I'm guessing probably a bad person?). July'24. UK. E❤

@@user-iq3mp5zo8z Yes I would agree with that. But thank God he found his voice and in another interview with Tommy Emmanuel, Tommy said it was John who helped him off the booze and drugs....So both these legends showed each other the strength they needed to be the wonderful entertainers they became.

John's first No 1 hit was in 1967. His performance of "Bridge Over Troubled Water" about this same time (1980) is well worth listening to for something different.

That's not young John Farnham haha...this is young Johnny Farnham at around 20..1969 and the Song is called ONE.
    m.czcams.com/video/e06hBcBp8T8/video.html
And just for fun this one is him performing the same song 20 years later m.czcams.com/video/FdNEKwMf1LQ/video.html

Now there's even early videos of John from 1967 but I'm not sure you're ready for that yet 😂😂

Yes, the song called - One, is great with his mic tricks. Also, of course the older one is just as amazing, alas, no mic cord to play with but he still entertains brilliantly!

Later he threw the microphone stand. He never hit anyone. This is not young John, he is still young but he started at 17 with Olivia. That was young John. Thank you.
