Washington Huskies NEW Head Football Coach Jedd Fisch

- The University of Washington has selected Jedd Fisch to replace Kalen DeBoer as the head football coach. Coach Fisch led the Arizona Wildcats to a 10-3 record with a bowl win over Oklahoma finishing this season ranked 11th in the country just 1 spot outside the top 10.
Fisch comes from an NFL pedigree where he has been an OC, WR/QB coach, assistant & quality control personnel.
Fisch has worked for several NFL teams and several high profile D1 college teams. Coach Fisch is an offensive minded HC who brings a wealth of experience and has resources to grow the program. Go Dawgs!
We need a balanced team with big linemen, better defensive, heavy run game. West coast Michigan basically like you said. Pete Carrolls type of football works well in the Big 10. SEC is the same. Fisch is a fantastic hire. He will keep us competitive. Definitely feel bad for AZ. Hope they continue to be successful and grab a good coach. 2024 UW football will be exciting no less. Not sure about this guy based on his 3 minute meeting with Arizona about his leaving.. I think Arizona took a chance on someone who was bouncing around as a QB coach.

Exactly. Az took a chance and signed him to a 5 year contract and he opted to break that contract. When he talked about character and commitment at your presser I gagged.
The polynesian kids are a loyal goup. They will either jump together to Washington in which case you will get a great group of kids, or they will feel betrayed by Fisch and stay home.

That's what most UW fans are thinking about DeBoer after he jettisoned for Bama. Just the nature of the business sadly.
U looked around and Arizona was great for Huskies as you get 3 great hires in one. An HC with a top QB n top receiver. Huskies will pay big bucks to all 3. Jedd Fisch without returning skill players to poach would still be at Arizona. Just so you know you 0:10 destroyed to get what you wanted. That is called "great" NOT!
