No longer Alone

You stand there, wrapped in steel,
A fortress built to keep me out.
Every word you say, a wall so high,
But I see the cracks, I know you hide.
I reach for my dagger, sharp and swift,
Cutting through the layers, piece by piece.
Every slice reveals a little more,
A glimpse of what you’re guarding behind that door.
I bring my sword, to break the chains,
Swinging with all my might, feeling the strain.
Each blow brings me closer to the core,
Where you’re hiding what you can’t ignore.
Your armor shatters under the weight,
Of every weapon I choose to take.
I try the hammer, heavy and bold,
Smashing through the armor you’ve controlled.
It’s slow, but steady, every hit counts,
Cracks start to spread, the armor mounts.
Then the lance, piercing straight and true,
Finding the gaps, pushing through.
I see you flinch, I know you feel,
The truth breaking through, starting to heal.
The axe comes last, with force and fire,
Splitting the armor, revealing desire.
The shell falls away, piece by piece,
Leaving you bare, the fight starts to cease.
Now I see you, raw and exposed,
No more hiding, no more closed.
Now that all is laid bare, nothing left to hide,
Allow me to strike the final blow, to shatter the pride.
This isn't to harm, but to save what's true,
To cut through the pain, and pull you through.
Let this be the end of the fight you've known,
