I watched a lot of orangutan videos to the point i can tell who is who 😂.

This little guy was brought in and they found he was troubled with breathing problems.
Like asthma. Current updates show he is doing alot better .
Of course it’s doing ok. There are probably more of them who have breathing problems who live in the wild. They survive just fine without human interference.

Llevo muchos años viendo reportajes de estos santuarios para orangutanes y veo con gran tristeza, que cada vez hay más huérfanos y menos espacio donde reintroducirlos con unas mínimas garantías. El esfuerzo de los cuidadores es improbo pero no sé si será suficiente para asegurar su supervivencia, Dios lo quiera. 🙏🙋🏻♀️🇪🇸

How do they tell the difference between them
They look different, you can tell by their distinctive features, some have lighter faces or have a stripe on their belly and also how they act and behave since they have their own personality traits that helps too.

I have been watching a lot of videos (isolating because of Covid). I have never seen an animal defecate in its food or play with it. And I wouldn’t care if they did.
They are God’s creatures and live their lives exactly as He intended - until mankind cruelly interferes! I wonder I f you have ever seen or heard an orangutan cry for its slaughtered mother - and then get locked up in a small cage and fed human scraps for human entertainment. I would hope you might be offended by that. Thank God for the people who rescue and save these incredible animals. Still, I am sorry for my response and wish I hadn’t sent it.
