Hi everyone! In today's video, Lauren is unboxing and reviewing the Beis carry on luggage, after her shocking disappointment with Away's carry-on bag last week.

Thank you for going into detail about the interrior! ........BEST video I seen so far to show off the features of the inside. I have watched too many videos today just to get an idea of the inside before I order.
Thank you! Just be sure you check your favorite airline’s dimensions. It’s good for most US domestic airlines, but not international (had I known that when I filmed it, it would have been in the video)
Thank you for this video! I needed to get new luggage because TWICE on different occasions, my luggage completely broke when I went away for my studies. I may be going back to campus soon so I needed to get luggage that's going to withstand all the pressures through two flights (+ 1 transit) and the 2-hour journey from the airport to my university. Have been eyeing these Beis luggage for over a year now because of their technical designs but shipping to my country is just so expensive and I could not justify it at the time. That compression sleeve with the double sided zip design seems so good for any larger documents I cannot fit in my backpack. Might just be ordering two of them once the other sizes come in stock. And this grey actually looks so good!

We did look at one more piece of luggage by Away, after this video was filmed, and it also met all of our criteria. Maybe that one would be easier for you to purchase? It’s our latest video! (The flex luggage!)

Love how you demonstrated how to use that extra band to hold the purse. I've been looking for a video specifically to show how that worked as the manufacturer didn't have a video.

Omg yes a packing video! That’s always what I struggle with most! I never seem to use everything I pack but don’t know what not to take.
I plan on making a packing video every time I travel! And I’m leaving for a trip Tuesday! So I’ll be filming one this weekend!

Thanks so much for your review! Have you noticed that the handle wobbles? That’s my #1 pet peeve for luggages. I’ve now narrowed down my search for a new carry on to beis and monos thanks to your review. 😊
It’s honestly the best handle I’ve ever had on a piece of luggage, super sturdy and it’s padded, which is very comfortable. I haven’t ever seen or felt a monos bag in person! I didn’t like that they didn’t expand. And the ones with the outside pocket usually don’t have much room on that side, they become shallow!
@@ItsTheKellys that’s great! I was going to get the carry-on plus so it would make up for not being able to expand. I really like the different colors. But I would also be taking the risk of an airline (probably international) telling me it’s too big and making me check it 🥲. So I’m going to go with the beis for now! Thanks again! ❤️

Thank goodness for this video and Thank you for your review...I was going to use my carry-on, but I am flying Alaska airline, and their carry on luggage size is 22'' x 14'' x 9'', and because I am bad in measuring...will my Beis carry on be too big for it? Thank you for your time.
The Beis actually measures a bit bigger than that in real life, but it fits on any domestic flight usually.

By chance, do you have the inside mesurements of the two compartments ? I already have a carry on but it's too shallow, I don't want to end up with the same problem
You’re from my favorite country 🤩! The height of each side is 5 inches. The compression side expands to 7 inches and the other side has the two pockets. The dimensions of each side our 14 by 20 inches. I hope you enjoy it if you buy it. I swapped with my friend for the beige colored one, and it’s really beautiful.

Thanks for sharing! Question- Have you measured the dimensions yourself with a measuring tape? The website has some discrepancies in its measurements. The inches and centimeters don’t add up correctly. I’m traveling to Europe in a few weeks and trying to decide if I should buy this or not!
Depending on your airline, it can be too big for europe. the depth is just over 9, the height with wheels is just over 22. And the width is 14. Just measured again just now :)
Just checking in from the last one! Did the shoe also fit in the pocketed area, too? Either way though, I think I'm SOL because I'm a Canadian and Nordstrom doesn't carry them here and the shipping from Beis is $95. :^)
It did indeed! I just knew I wouldn’t pack a shoe on that side, so it didn’t make the cut in editing. And oh no! There has to be some way! ThT shipping amount is insane! I’m still a huge fan of my old Calpak one, but they don’t make them like that anymore, according to the website!

Have you taken the beis on delta. I went to Nordstrom and measure the beis carry on it was slightly passed the 22” so I’m hesistant to buy and have to check it

They usually update their Instagram when they do! And I subscribe to emails for when they restock! But they usually go very soon after a restock!

Awesome video! Just wondering- what are the measurements of the carry on? I’ve heard people say it’s 21” but the website says it’s 22”. The airline I’m travelling on allows 21.5” maximum for carry on so just wanted to make sure it would work before purchasing 🙏🏻
It is 22 inches with the wheel (the actual wheel is 2 inches long). I can assure you I have flown multiple airlines with this bag and if the airline says 21.5, I think you will be perfectly fine. What airline are you flying? The only time I don’t use this bag is within europe or Asia because their carryon standards are sooooo small.

@@LB-jh1lk I havent, but I have flown with it on its partners! Its so rare they make you put it in the sizer! Maybe when its expanded!

Is the sizing different with the American vs the Canadian beis?
No, I believe that everything is the same size! I know that they tend to launch collections at different times for Canada or UK to America, or have different restocks. :)
Trying to figure out if this suitcase is small enough for a carry-on to Mexico (Aeromexico). Heard you say you were planning to take it to Mexico, so thought I’d ask. Heard another reviewer say it was pretty tight on Southwest.
It’s been great for every flight! Nice normal size for any major airline. I’ve taken it to Mexico (delta) and Paris (Air France) and Cape Verde and Portugal (TAP) as well as some United and AA and spirit flights.

@@johnnyboygeek99 I did take it on Aeromexico on 3 different flights! Totally worked.
However, surprisingly, it was a tight squeeze (but fit) on a British Airways BUSINESS class flight!

Does the Beis hold more than Monos- when not extended?
It’s bigger, so I’m sure it does, but monos has better compression and is better for all airline sizes :)
What happened witht the away luggage Im about to get one!
They must have gotten rid of the flex luggage. But honestly, I don’t love it anymore. It got so severely scratched after a few trips. And feels so cheap. This Beis bag is WAY better.

If you order through Beis directly, yes! Their items come practically overnight usually!
I think it’s funny everyone worries about scuffs for a luggage. Even my tumi I don’t care how it scuffs lol😂. I feel like it shows it’s use and well traveled-ness with scuffs. As long as it doesn’t break, bend or fall apart, scratches and scuffs are fine 😅. Unpopular opinion. With all the Beis videos and monos and packing, how do you expect to keep a beige color clean? Like, it’s not going to stay clean 😂… as long as it’s not that dirty it’s fine. If it gets that dirty, get a new one😊
I don’t care but about scuffs, but I do like when a bag stays as nice looking as possible for as long as possible :)
This is even more affordable than Away.
Yes and honestly better quality. Now that I have both, the Beis bag still looks new. After 4 flights, the away bag is super scratched
