Hi there can you tell me if this worked and if so did it do any better , I have the exact car and looking to do this but there doesn't seem to be any results in your video of the car driving or performance
Reading some of the comments about BOV's being bad for Saab's... i have a 2001 9-5 2.0lt , and have just bought a BOV but have not installed it yet, after reading some of the comments have i wasted my money...??
I installed this diverter(in the stock configuration and green spring) and I get a very healthy HAWOOOOoooshhhh when I left off after stomping the accelerator hard. I also have an open cone filter attached right onto the MAF.

The vacuum line clips into the holder on the side of the induction pipe, that should stop it coming off

you should link in the description where you purchased your bypass valve.

does it make the psssshhhhh noise when you drive
kirb Martin No, not diverter valves. Only blow-off valves; which are pretty bad for Saabs.
Pod filter in place of the stock airbox will give you that noise.
@@CardboardSliver I just did that on my 9-3 B204L and I can hear the diverter valve a lot more now
