    What's so bad about a headstand?!

      Yes, seeing a handstand on the yard is odd and as an officer, we would question it lol. We as prison officers should freak out over it and start telling but we would casually walk up to the inmate and be like "yo dude, so....lol, what's going on? This looks a little, uhhh, peculiar? Want to explain?" Lol

    Thank you for sharing...my son first went to Florence, then transferred to Red Rock near Tucson, and is now at Kingman prison. He has six years left of a 15 year sentence and I know you are telling the truth, because when he was taken to Florence...after two years in maximum downtown Phoenix...he sai: "I am glad to be going out of here and it is the first time I have seen the sun in two years, that felt so good mom." Again, thank you for sharing the truth.

      @@paigeleigh2554 Thank you Paige! You are SO awesome to have answered me...the last 3 years went so quickly!! My son is doing great, funny to say that about prison. He has matured into a beautiful man, has such a heart and helps other guys in there to keep their chins up. He is looking forward to coming home to New Mexico and to all who love him and believe in him. A family member introduced him to a woman who has faithfully been on his side now for the past 5 years and is waiting to welcome him as well. My heart has lost that broken feeling and is so hopeful...and his father, who was gone from our family for 35 years, has come back and we have bought a home for our son!! Miracles still happen!!! Life is good and on our new acre we are building and adding for any of his fellow prisoners who want to come visit, or stay, in New Mexico. Wow...prison is not the "end of hope" ... everyone deserves a second chance. You stay well and keep up your inspiring feedback! Thank you Paige!!

      It’s only shocking if one doesn’t think. Let’s plant America’s racial minorities in Norway (of course proportionate to the population) and see how your prison system can cope with the effects. Ironically, Scandinavia is in the process of achieving exactly this result through third world immigration.

      I'm a Correctional Officer in California, over 21 years now. Leven 2 and Level 3 prison. CA prisons go up to level 4. I know what's it's like from an officers point of view and it is entertaining to hear an inmates point of view lol. I even find it entertaining. Very intriguing stories man. It's true, there are officers that are high strung and tell at inmates for dumb shit (standing on their heads) but in my 21 years experience it's "usually not always" the new (young) officers acting like that. But there are good officers also who know how to respect people, inmate or not. On the other side, there are inmates that are respectful too and not all inmates are shit lol. I respect that you did your time and made it through. Not easy. It's an ugly world in there.

    dude i like your stories, you are from my crowd, the ravers.........i have been on the road from 79 onwards but it was fun when you lot showed up with rave and ecstasy.......i was a mover too but not of drugs.......i was a mover of gems and silver and gold.......the advantage was that it gives off no smell and is not illegal as a product, was just doing them on the tax. most customs have not a clue of their value thus i could run rings around them apart from heathrow where i had to be careful as many indians work customs and know about gems. luckily the Indians were good with me as i speak some hindi and understand their culture. only ever moved drugs for my own personal consumption...........i retired several years back having never once been caught..........was on a flight back from Lima last year with a Peruvian girlfriend when i was pulled in at Gatwick by a young agressive inexperienced female for a search i was in DILIGAF mode [do i look like i give a fuck] long hair, leather jacket, jeans.......i let her search but bollocked her for her gross incompetence to the point where the silly bitch got quite upset..........i mean seriously, if i was running or muling anything into any airport 1./ i would not be coming off a direct flight 2./ i would have been to the best barber shop in town before departure 3./ i would be wearing smart demure designer casuals and carrying similar luggage. 4./ i would be working alone.... besides, i am in my mid 50s, if i were involved in smuggling it would be more than i could mule and at my age i would be far too smart to bring it in with me unless i was doing it on a yacht during Cowes week with a change of sails. and an emergency escape plan. life gives each of us different experiences......i can only say that i am glad that i did not have yours. my time around rave and the scene during the 90s took me on wild adventures across the world from India through to Peru Bolivia, Mexico and USA.......perhaps the two best were an overland journey from Austria to India as co driver and mechanic on board a truck with two smack heads and a smuggling boat that i crewed on from the Florida keys to Havana and back with a highly dodgy and well healed Italian American skipper......also had many other adventures traveling overland from Colorado down to Guatemala and back........like you i have written a book about my experiences it is called "Gypsy the gemdealer" and my writer name is Ivor Blimsworth. it is available on Amazon in three different formats and tells the story of my first ten years on the road from 79 to 89. am presently working on the next book "Gypsy and the guru of drugs sex and rock and roll".......... you are someone that it would be good to meet and share stories with. we are all older these days and have had to tame down some of our activities......these days my only adventures are my annual holidays in India where i borrow my bike back from my Indian friend and ride from Jaipur up into the Himalayas to Manali and Parvatti valley for harvest season or just to chill out during hot season.

    • @jonathanlovejoy1984
      @jonathanlovejoy1984 Před 6 lety +1

      Shaun if you would like a look inside of my life with a fun sound track in the background dial into the youtube search engine "morning ride from Amer to Jaipur" for a nice chopper ride through Indian traffic or "born to be wild on Sitar" for a hindi come dylan version of born to be wild [the dylan part being my questionable singing].......as i enjoy your videos and would like to meet you, after your experiences in USA i think that you likely would prefer India, you would certainly fit in with the older India travelers......i know people like you from the Goa crowd........i am presently banned from facebook so no point to give you my FB Identity but feel free to leave messages on my youtube pages...........interesting that you got into doing yoga while inside, i did a year and a half of it back in my 20s but then when i got to India looking for a teacher i ended up in a tantric ashram which was much more fun. still both involve meditation which is the key to ultimate liberation...........truth is with the meditations at the Tantric ashram was the meditations took you higher than ecstasy ever could but without the drained feeling afterwards.. it was an ashram where rave parties happened outside of the place........the focus was on heightened awareness and being in a state of meditation no matter what you may be doing. others there were doing Es but i was getting all of that plus more from the meditations. of course weed was always there, we all smoked it but that too is part of many of the tantric paths. the great thing in India is that there are still government licensed shops that sell bhang hash and weed for the holy men.

      @jonathanlovejoy1984 Před 6 lety

      Sorry Michael but those days are now over.........back in the 20th century India used to have gold control and huge taxes on imported gold. the smuggling route used to first bring the gold into Nepal from Hong Kong and Bangkok by air and then across the Indian border by land at unmarked crossings through the jungle and lower flat lands. we used to get payed a tidy sum for being the mules into Kathmandu.........India is the world's number one buyer of gold as every Indian wedding involves large quantities of the stuff................Gems however are still profitable and relatively easy to smuggle as the money involved means high taxes but then you need to be an expert on the subject or your fingers most certainly will get burned. you need to be up to date with latest prices and know exactly what to buy. it is not easy and can involve much stress at all parts of the business.

    i have a question, why do they move you to all these different levels of prison? did you get in trouble or do they just ship random people off to varied levels of security. i always just assumed once you got to a prison they just left you there, to be honest i'd never make it in prison, half the side effects of autism would get me murdered within a month, lack of facial recognition (Prosopagnosia) lack of social understanding (social ques, hints, rules etc) lack of ability to lie(very direct, open and honest) high anxiety and extreme irritability and violent meltdowns when provoked, i would basically be unable to read peoples facial expression or respond correctly to manipulation or sarcasm, i would try and remove myself from anything or anyone that made me feel uncomfortable, if they followed me i would get upset and if they hurt me i would attack them back (interactions with the police as a child were always bad because they are usually morons and never respect anyone's boundaries)
    luckily i was already known to have this issue so assaulting the police and teachers during a meltdown never resulted in any charges or i'd probably be in jail now i guess. i never leave my house because i'm afraid of having an episode and getting in trouble :( i guess i kind of am in prison, just has a bigger cell and no ones trying to harm me

LOL after two weeks they realized I didn't know what I was doing when I got involved and they let me go completely. I never experienced anything like you talked about because I was only in county for 2 weeks. But I could kind of see that type of mentality just starting and how it could build up to a Maximum Security Prison situation. I have a question does anyone ever make it as a lone wolf in a prison situation like that especially maximum security? Thank you for your time and answering or maybe if it does not go in a video just kind of respond in a short version of how that works out if someone tries to do that. Thank you for your time and the videos are completely informative because I know nothing about the prison life. And God willing I never have to experience it.

    Hi Shaun, do you have a record in the UK? In other words, does the UK carry-over your crimes that were committed in the USA to their systems? Or do you have a clean slate in the UK? For example, in the US, you cannot be listed as an owner (director) of a company as a Felon. And felons also have other restrictions. Last question, then I'll shut-up, I heard that you are permanently banned from coming to the US, I thought one of your videos said you went to the US under certain pretenses or circumstances.

    Is that a scam that should be refused, or is that sometimes a legitimate rule?
