And btw I'm also a swiftie who HATES 'Girl From Home' (TV) and 'Shake It Off' (TV)... Usually I love how mature and refined Taylor's voice sounds in these versions, but oh my... Sometimes the songs can get so much worse lol! 😰

Really loved this video. Just like Poland, in Romania most movies have very very weird and bizzare translations and this is something most countries of East Europe have in common. I watch most shows in english now beacuse the translations are just cringe. I kind of like pop music that is between too chill and too dumpy as well. And most of lana s new albums are rather chill because those are personal to her and she mostly talks about her life. I fully recommend Ultraviolence and Born To Die Paradise if you re looking for something rather in between.

Hi, I'm also from Poland and in my family and many others I know, we also open presents on Christmas Eve after the dinner.
Few years ago I learned that americans don't celebrate on 26, they go back to work on that day, so it is crazy to me that they celebrate christmas for only 1 day. Some countries on 26 have "boxing day" which is discount day to sale as much as possible before the end of the year to have higher earnings that year, so it is a quiet busy shopping day for british people and canadians.

As a person, who was raised in Poland in a christian, but non-catholic household (I know, a shocker!) and having Jewish origins, I think most of us probably celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve because of Jewish tradition actually, specifically because of the way the beginning and end of the day are perceived. Evening (sunset) is the beginning of the next day, not the morning. See world's creation: "And there was evening and there was morning, one day." That is why shabbat main celebration is on Friday evening, even though the day itself is Saturday (in Polish you can even see it etymologically: szabat - sobota). So it is only logical to start celebrating Christmas in the evening the day before.

A lot of Latinos also do the big celebration and present-opening on Christmas Eve. It’s pretty common to also especially open presents at midnight. I have a theory that this might actually be a general shared tradition among families and communities that are influenced by Catholicism… but who knows (probably Google does)

I so envy your music taste then, because I'm definitely the Lady Gaga listener type on the scale, so sadly many songs bore me to hell and back
You can add different audio languages in the video so you don't need to make separate channels for polish
Even if I learned how to do that (but I don't see it in the editor), the channel would feel very artificial (something like 5-Minute Crafts), as not everything is translatable and I throw in different things in each language, referring to pop culture etc. Plus, my Polish channel is the main one and a lot bigger, so I would have to quit Marticore (the older channel), leaving behind a lot of viewers who would miss the memo. And how would I just reenact live commentary in gameplays? Multi-language uploading is just not for Sims channels. Honestly I think trying to dub my own stuff would be much more work than making separate videos 😂 Like adding subtitles (which takes forever), but next level.

I'm American and didn't enjoy Pocahontus. Even as a little kid, I knew that the story wasn't 'accurate', but it's not really a matter of historical inaccuracy that makes me not like it. I agree with what you said, but I especially disliked how the movie presented the Powhatan's issue with the colonizers as a 'hate on both sides.' The reason I didn't like this aspect of the movie is because the Powhatan people were undergoing genocide. It's not comparable, and what happened to Pocahontus in real life wasn't okay. Disney shouldn't have romanticized that story, especially while cultural genocide of Indigenous people in America is ongoing. It's not an issue of the past but one we're still fighting in the present. ...The animation and music were beautiful though lol! 😅
