This is the Superbowl of folding work tables. One can hold 1/2ton and the other is a garage ninja. Enjoy!
Worx Pegasus vs Keter shop tables
home depot lowes workspace keter sams club clamp - Jak na to + styl
*Great product **MyBest.Tools** and price.*
Overall it’s a decent table. If you’re not using it for big heavy projects. Its gets unstable when using my jigsaw and handsaw. Table starts to shake and lifts off the ground. Maybe I’m doing something wrong? Also the folding mechanic works great czcams.com/users/postUgkxyFZUPFEey-PuqsPMxqaykBhgA1LWxFHh when setting up, but I can’t get the table to fold down. It gets stuck 3/4ths on the way down.
Woodglut has a lot of designs to choose from.
Cool - thanks
Great review. - many thanks.
An informative & fair comparison which did help me in deciding which one to go for.
Now that Ive got the Worx, I really do love it. Its a great piece of kit & very quick & easy to set up & fold up.
I cant compare the Worx to the Kieter, (the Kieter seems really good as well) but my experience with the Worx is that it is really well designed, well made, & for me it's the perfect weight, striking the ideal balance bewween sturdiness/ strength & ease of use /portability.
The clamps are pretty strong & fairly wide which is great. (although there is a little play /wobble of the clamps within the guide rails which is mildy annoying)
To my surpriise, I find the little reccesses in the work top incredibly usefull for holding screws & screwdrive bits etc out of the way. Cant imagine using a workbench without them now.
Although I feel the Worx is slightly over-priced here in the UK , it is nonetheless a quality product, & I wouldnt hesitate to buy another one if I needed a 2nd work bench
Thanks much. I'm looking at tables, this helped a lot!!
glad you found the video helpful...what table are you considering
we're getting a 10x14 shed built on our property, and I'm finally getting some room to do some DIY home improvements. I was looking into a portable solution to go with the bench I'm going to make in the shed. i must say the meter looked intriguing but Found other video of the handle breaking off and in your video of the shorter clamps and plastic clamp tracks really helped. I liked the one that you looked at right up until you pinched your fingers (S**of a B****) that looked painful. and I immediately thought. soon as my wife pinches her hand that would be the end of it. Then you said the same thing! LOL. So I think the Worx is the direction I'm going to go. You did this video over a 18 months ago. How is the worx holding up? Do you still think you made the right decision? - thanks kindly., Jeremy
I'm really happy with the Worx table. I think the 2 big contenders are the Worx and Kreg. If you don't care about weight and only strength - the Kreg is your pick. If you want portability and convenience - Worx is the winner.
6 years since you posted this vid and the Worx unit I bought today is exactly the same. I guess it makes sense to go with what works. Haven't taken it to site yet so we'll see how it performs, but it feels good and solid. I'm hoping the plastic won't become brittle in sub-zero °C temps, but I didn't find anything that mentioned it so that's another "we'll have to see" thing. Good review...Thank you.
You do very good video reviews. Thanks for spending the time to share these.
Thanks stay tuned for a bunch of giveaways. Coming soon.
I have had two keters tables with no problems love them
Yep....they are fine...Not great
Got a WORX before I saw the video. Love It!!!
They had a ton of them at my local Lowes - I think these things are selling fast
One of the very best presentations! I liked it all the way and have some not so good old ones but they are my treasures! I will not part with any of them but am 83y young still going!
Thanks mate - glad to have you with me
Thank you for this video you sold me on the Keter! The part when you jumped on it to close it. If it did not break when someone as large as yourself jump closed it.
You know the camera adds 50lbs right? OK I'm a lard ass...
Thanks for your video and the time to produce. Very informative :)
Stoked that you found it helpful
I bought a worx for outside car port work but its so stable and well built; I use it all the time in workshop. Great design.
I feel ya. You should let all those people know who rain hate on me in my other Kreg vs Wrox table
Thank you very much for this well put together instructional video, It gives us potential buyers a great insight.
Awesome video! I watched all of three videos.
Cool - glad you found them helpful
Quick question. I was initially just looking for a vice that would clamp to an existing table and had chosen an Irwin 3" steel Stationary Bench vice. However, it can only fit on a table 2 inches thick. The 2 tables you show look thicker than that. Is that correct? (Or do the clamps provided function well enough as a vice?) Thanks
Dude! Thanks for the video! We definitely owe you a beer!
Thanks mate - I will take you up on that offer
I got that exact Keter table at Sam’s for $40 I think, minus the clamps. Called Keter and a very nice man sent them to me for free. It has been super handy and I know it’s a proven design because I have the identical table I purchased 15 years earlier under the black and decker name that’s still going strong. I think many companies have used their design and slapped their name on it. That works table looks good though and I may pick one up in the future. I just got some of their sawhorses. Nice 👍🏼 comparison!
What is the best workbench/table for uneven ground?
I just got the Keter for $55 at Menards and I love the way it folds so small. It is much easier to transport and store.
They are both great options if you have limited space.
A couple of points about the Keter. I have 3 of them and they are incredibly handy. Once you learn how to fold it up the legs lock into place and do not flop around. Two of my Keter tables have adjustable legs which allow you to raise the height by 2 or 4 inches or even set it up on an unlevel surface with the ability to make the table top level. I agree that the clamps are not the highest quality but they are decent.
Awesome comment - thanks for joining the fun
I have a keter and one of the grips brake but still works so no biggie, also like that can put tools and stuff below, the worx shelf is too low, also is the perfect height to use it as outfeed table for my craftsman table saw and the work is taller.
How do you raise the legs
I have two of the keter tables and I like them very much. Very stable and solid. I set my chop saw on one and my portable table saw on the other and I’m good to go.
They are solid tables :)
Hey just out of curiosity are you able to kind of link them together like the other one? It's not a deal-breaker for me but just curious.
you mentioned dropping an engine on the keter table. i can honestly say that i have used that table to rebuild a small block ford on it.
Additionally, the keter table i have has thumb releases on each handle to release the legs as they do lock in but have to be pushed into the locks individually.
not sure if i'll buy a pegasus or another keter but am shopping currently
thanks!
Great review. Getting the Worx Pegasus.
I just got the Worx Table. I love the worx unit. It is easy to fold up and store and very easy for anyone to use it fast...! My wife is using it for her crafts and I use it for any outside work needed. I love how easy it is to set up and use and put away. Love the Worx...!
I second that!
I heard in another review that the WORX table can support 1000lbs in horse configuration.
Also, which would be recommended for use with a vise (e.g., for a gun bench)? Or would a different bench be recommended?
It should ideally be pretty steady so as to not throw off a torque wrench. Also looking for something with a relatively small footprint, as you can't easily work a large bench into an apartment.
Fantastic power tool. Nice video!
cool - thanks again
An honest comparison imo... My local Lowes ( 45 miles, one way ) has (5) of the Worx Pegasus tables, I think (2) will do the trick nicely. A bit pricey at $119.00 ea., if they will match HD or Amazon @ $99.00 ea., I will buy them. Good presentation, thanks...
If you can wait for black friday - last year they were selling for $99
Howdy friend,
I’m shocked so many people are combative towards u on here. Hello, it’s ur channel u can like what u want.
I appreciate the time and effort u put into these videos. They help me a lot. Thank you.
Of course u know this but I’ll say it anyway.... maybe someone else will read this and appreciate it...
U gotta outshine the darkness 👍 Engaging with negative people will only produce more negativity and eventually create guilt for stooping to their level. Let it slide and associate more value towards the positive people that actually support what you’re doing. God bless 👍😎❤️
Thanks mate. That is a very uplifting comment. I do try to ignore some of the negative stuff but your comment is a good reminder to not fall for the trap. Thank you my friend - your one good mate
Thanks for the great video. Can you clamp items to the edge of the Worx table?
Yes you can but their is some plastic support underneath so you may have to fiddle around with it to clamp
Just bought the Pegaus and allready dirty and love it .
Mine is 2 years old and I use it all the time
Well done and comprehensive comparo. If I were to go with a Keter work table it would be the adjustable leg 700# capacity model which can bring the work surface up to 33.75" high.
I saw that model at Costco for about $40
I did like your vid brother! I have 1 Pegasus and really like it for stationary work where I’m not moving from 1 site to the next. I’m about to buy a second to increase my sq/in bc I need length a lot of times like the rectangle keter has. But it’s a bitch to move/carry. It has its benefits over others but not by much except... dog holes! Those are so key for a trim carpenter w/ a side hobby of woodworking! I feel it’s a little to expensive though personally. It might not be to a lot of people, but I’m much more comfortable with the keters pricing, especially the keter with adjustable legs! If the keter 2.0 had dog holes & the same ability to interlock tables as the worx it would be my fav! That carrying handle😍 I could prob stack tools on top of the keter bc it’s cold with a flat surface but the Pegasus is awkward for that in my suv making bringing it w/ me unreasonable. My 10packout boxes/miter saw/stand/table saw have all been voted to take the trip vs the Pegasus. He was voted to stay home lol Yes yes get a van... I know 😂 subbed! Keep it up!
Thanks mate - I think I would like the Keter more if the legs retracted better - they just flop around and over time that makes me nuts. I'm coming out with an updated review this spring - stay tuned
I appreciate the reviews. I think he represented Keter well enough. I would find the legs hanging out of the table bottom annoying - Keter could put some capture clips in there to keep them secure for storage but then again you would lose the easy, rapid opening feature so they made a trade off. I think this was the reviewer's final point - horses for courses. I could see having one Keter in my shop for some things need but if I were totally mobile, I see the benefits of the Pegasus.
I'm really bummed about the pinch hazard on the Kreg bench. I don't mind the thought of more weight - I associate weight with stability which is my main worry about the Pegasus. I work alone a lot and sometimes need to push a sheet of plywood or other bulky material onto a work surface and I just see the Pegasus sliding away from me and having to chase it across the shop floor where I perceive the Kreg would stay put. Wish they would address the pinch issue as he suggested - some form of capture clips. Call it KWS1001 and ship it, dudes...
Great summary denton! I can see your point about the Worx table moving if you slide something along the top. For me portability is a greater concern - so weight is key.
I have had the Keter for 6 years. I think the leg thing is overstated. If you take 10 seconds, you can slap them all into place with ease. Sometimes they go on their own. He is clearly trying to highlight the Worx and display frustration with the Keter. It is a great table. My biggest complaint is the height. I'm 6'3" and I wish it were taller. Also, the clamps are not as good as an Irwin clamp, but they work just fine once broken in for clamping long boards or sanding. It is SO solid on a garage floor for sanding and assembling, it's better than a lot of heavier wood benches.
Again, a good presentation of both pieces.... I am a little skeptical of the clamping force of those clamps, although I don't have any firsthand experience with them. Do they hold stuff firmly to the table?
They have worked great for me. That being said, I have only used them to clamp up to a 6" board and about 5 feet lone. But it worked great
I tried the Keter, solid and sturdy but a little awkward to setup. I ended up returning it and got the Pegasus. Have used it for all sorts of jobs. Love it.
I too prefer the Worx over the Keter....
Hi Andrew, thanks for the great reviews on the folding worktables. The Worx it is. Kind regards from the Netherlands.
Cool, thanks
I really like the look of the worx bench however I have a blackndecker with wooden bench top that can expand. for me this is perfect as i can drop in a leaf with a router to make it a router table and also cover it with 1/4 steel plate when welding so because its wood it can take the heat. i wish worx made one that wasnt plastic
I literally bought a Worx table 3 days ago. So far I'm really liking it.
As far as the Keter being able to hold 1000 lbs, that's great and all but nobody is going to put that much weight on a work table. Most likely your picking up whatever your working on with your hands. I know of no one that can pick up 100 lbs with their hands.
Good stuff!
I hadn't considered getting any portable table, until I got a pop-up ad on my phone offering the Keter table for $10 plus $10 shipping. At that price I figured it would be a good replacement for my sawhorse if nothing else.
Post that link!
@@donniemccrorie19 It just popped up on my phone; I think it was a limited time offer. It looks like the price has gone up, but even at $25 it's still a lot better than Amazon, etc.
sonayecho.com/collections/best-sellers/products/portable-work-tables
Have you thought about comparing this to the Black and Decker Workmate? I'm coming down to this or the Worx.
Truthfully, I didn't know that they still made the workmate. I'm probably going to pass on that, for me portability and simple storage was a main deciding factor that ultimately led me to the Worx solution.
Watch out for the Keter table I had one break the leg broke and the items i had on the top fell on me.
I notified Keter and they said that they do not have the parts to replace the leg and now the table is junk.😢
I love how rehearsed you are with the worx... and how you bang the keter around and make you and it look clumsy... The bias is easy to see - (as is mine) I have a keter, the legs snap in and stay snapped, it collapses flat via gravity in one motion.. if you hold it horizontally and press the tabs, it opens super easy - not sure why you were winging it around.... I am sure the worx is fine - but the bias is clear.
Thank you - glad to hear those acting classes are paying off
Every reviewer I have seen mentions the Keter legs flopping around. Only neckbeards like you get bent out of shape because he pointed it out. Keter looks like a good table, but the lack of holes for dogs limits it.
Good comparison between the two. I own the Keter and like it a lot, but based on your review, I'll probably get the Worx Pegasus next time I'm looking for one (which may be sooner than later since my roommate borrowed it and cut into it with a circular saw...).
Good choice!
Watched all your videos on folding tables. It was a no brainer for me, I
bought the Worx. Actually, once I got it, I liked it so much I bought a
second one, as I like using them as horses. Found them on eBay for
89.00, and Worx has an outlet on eBay where they sell it for 99.99.
Just wanted you to know, what sold me on the Worx vs the Keter. It was
two things you pointed out, really. I did not like on the Keter that
the legs didn't fold back in completely when collapsing the table. And
the clamps on the Worx are vastly superior, and longer. Again, a no
brainer.
Glad your happy with your purchase :)
I bought a Keter and now I own 3! All you need is to use it a couple of times and it sells itself. Costco sells them for about $45. Highly recommend!
You can't have enough of these guys - although I prefer the worx
@@Kitearmy After Christmas every year. Sams Club discounts the Keter for $29. Work horse on a construction site.
$29 is a deal - pick me up one
I agree, I bought my KETER with the extendable legs (good for me at 6-4) at BJ's wholesale club for around 40 bucks, I like the fact that it folds up very compact and slides under my work table vertically taking up about 4 inches. It's very solid and I can munt my small ridgid table saw and it wont tip over. I felt the works table was a little wombly. That said I have an old b&d workmate that I can clamp a half sheet of plywood screwed to a 2x4 that is very sturdy also.
Bought my husband 2 Worx for Christmas and he was so stoked. (I'm incapable of waiting when I get a gift, made him open it already) Lol I was like "I did good".
wow - you are bad at waiting. I bet he was happy
@@Kitearmy I'm THE worst. But yes he was thrilled. Lol
@@ingloriousbetch4302 I would argue with that...sounds like you are the best.
@@Kitearmy 😀
Great comparison video. Definitely would help me make a good choice if I was in the market for one. Well done my friend. Love the elephant!
All sorts of strange things show up in my back yard
Cause your crazy neighbors feed everything that moves!
except human carnivores :)
We have also used the Keter for walking on while finishing drywall on the ceiling...worked good...can't see using the Worx for that...both have their good features, I own 2 Keter tables...
I guess like scaffolding?
The worx table seems like a much better value for not a lot more money.
Unless you really need the weight capacity I’d go with worx.
Great video Andrew!!
Thanks - I just used my table today
In Australia, the Keter table is rebadged as Ryobi and available for $99 AUD from Bunnings. The Works Pegasus was available from Amazon Australia for an eye-watering $251.
I purchased the Ryobi model as I could get two of them and change compared to the Pegasus.
Wow - I would have done the same thing
Any thoughts on a similar portable bench not made of plastic? I live on an atoll. Plastic is killing our island...
Plastic is killing the world! Check out the Kreg it has less plastic but much heavier. Video on my channel
Can you do a video on the ..Dewalt Express folding workbench...DWST11556b.....it unfolds in 2 sec, with 1 lever and closes the same way in 2sec...it holds 1000lbs and has many clamping positions.....it folds flat .....$89...
I think that can be arranged
just ordered a worx...then watched the videolll I enjoyed the review
You are going to love it
@@Kitearmy I liked the way it looked easy to set up and hopefully store in a small space. I don't do much cutting, but needed something for when I do. thanks for showing off the features.
@@curtainsup9 Right now mine has a bunch of garage stuff stored on it :) Time to clean up!
ive got a black and decker version of the Keter had it for at least 8 yrs
I think they rebranded this table for a few vendors.
Hello, can you tell me which table is the most stable?
Worx
Great video!!!!
Thanks mate
I bought the Keter table a few years ago for $50 before I ever heard of the Kreg table. I never knew about the Pegasus until a few weeks ago.
They are all decent portable work tables
Could you use some other regular clamps with the Keter one and still utilize the rail?
sure but I think most Keter clamps are made to be used with this
sure but I think most Keter clamps are made to be used with this
Well reviewed, only my opinion is that by 2017 we have not got this type of apparatus right, it seems as though a home made saw horse set improvised with storage & shelf space will give one more assurance as to stuffing about with plastic equivalents, please don't get me wrong as your review is full on, thanks 👍👍👍
grazie!
Thank you for the review. Will be getting one of these Worx tables, seems perfect for someone who will be doing light hobby work now and then, and doesnt have too much space to take up with a permanent bench.
Glad it was helpful!
In Australia the Keter is sold as the Ryobi Folding table at Bunnings.
Hey mate - I'm from Melbourne. None of these companies make their own tools - they just slap a brand on them
I think it was the Keter I passed by in B&Q today for £50 in the UK
Never heard of the B&Q - I have heard of Barbecue
Ditto with Bob Dinkel's comment. I have six Ketter tables and two are the older ones with adjustable legs. The table folds up very easily and the legs lock into place, and don't pop lose like shown on this video. I bought them at Sam's when they were on sale for $39.00 each. Yeah, like five years ago. I did not buy them knowing the weight they hold, but believe me, I am glad I have them because I have placed extremely heavy tool cabinets on top, one of the weighing approximately 400 pounds. You also did not show that you can use the clamps through the larger openings on top of the table. usefull since the Ketter does not have bench dog holes.
I had two Keter tables fail from the plastic joints that connect the legs to the table.
I could see the legs would be fail points
I would like to see a review of the miller fx30 welding table. I think it has potential as a portable workbench. Only thing is it is a bit spendy$.
Mike
Now that's a table - metal top - very cool
1:41 When I try that on mine, the bottom shelf pops out of its hinges and falls on the ground, lol! I have to open the bottom shelf first by spreading out the legs before I can "snap" the top up like that.
mine just did that - with the bottom shelf
Did you read the booklet that came with the Keter? It’s really only for 300 lbs. The 1,000 lbs is simply false advertising. In addition, I discovered through reading reviews on Amazon that the Keter has several defects that occur. Between the Pegasus and the Keter the Pegasus is superior in my opinion. Ive looked at many folding tables. Thanks for your video.
Did you say read....now that's crazy speak. Glad you liked the vid.
Nice review. I actually have a Keter on order and it will arrive in 2 days. I feel like this is a bit of comparing apples to oranges as right now the Keter is $80 on Amazon and the Worxs is $120. $40 is a pretty big difference.
Good choice!
I got the Keter table here in the UK. I have been looking for one at the right price for about 3 years, finally got one for around £50.00. As you say 1000 lbs load is massive and that's what sold it for me, I'm 230 lb (104 Kg or 16.3 stones) and at some point I may want to use it as a platform to stand on.
Dance platform???
@@Kitearmy You obviously haven't seen me dance brother.
@@duster. so your saying your no John Travolta
Yes the worx table as some good points. But with the Kreg you can turn it into a full length work bench, yes you have to have two of them. Great if you need a set up on the job site, also at home if you don't have a dedicated work shop. Both appeal to a different worker.
You took the words right out of my mouth
I have 2 of the keter's. One badged as B&D Firestorm and the other Keter branded. Both came with different optional equipment. I am not happy about either. Neither is a really stable table. They are also to short (and I am only 5-7) The locking mechanism fails miserably in a very short time. The problem you mention with the legs retaining in storage gets MUCH worse.
Have you tried the Worx table
Not yet. In fact this is the first time I have been introduced to them. Thanks for the review.
thanks
This comparison overlooked a feature of the Keter workbench; the height of the Keter workbench is adjustable.
This model did not have adjustable legs...I think some Keters do though
I know its late, but thanks for this review. It's a little biased but hey, it's your video. I bought the Keter on clearance at Sam's Club for $29 regular price is $59. For me its a no brainer.
$29 - but one for me too
For you a no-brainer is probably a good thing.
I have the Keter. I gets brittle after a few years in the garage. Mine has some chips and cracks in the top rim that I have to sand to keep from cutting myself. On the bright side...I bought it at Sam's club years ago for 54 dollars. Overall it is a good bench. 7 out of 10.
Great feedback...thanks
Andrew, I just watched your review of the Pegasus folding workbench vs. the Kreg folding workbench, and you other review of the Pegasus vs. the Keter folding workbench on 03-18-17. I've reviewed other sites, and media, and I believe you are unbiased. I've seen comments that your reviews are just advertisements for the Workx folding work bench, but after doing a good deal of my own on-line research, I believe that you have used these tools and are giving them all a fair review. You helped me decide which portable work bench to purchase. I won't say which of the three tools I intend to purchase because everyone has different needs from any tool. You give credit where credit is due and point out deficiencies where they exist. Different tools have different qualities and prices. It all depends on the purchaser's intended use. Thank you for accurate assessments. Your new fan, buffalo bill.
Hello woody. Glad to have you. The truth is that it's nearly impossible to remain 100% impartial. That being said, I do try to highlight the features of all tools in my videos. Thanks again for your comment - talk soom
The WORKS is also rated for 1,000 lb It's 300 lb if you're putting something on either side of it. But if you're laying something across it it's a 1,000 lb
good point
knew the keter would do better than the kreg :)
they actually have an adjustable height version that comes with toggle clamps.
i have the worx pegasus and wish it came with toggle clamps. :(
That is so cool - not sure what a toggle clamp is
Just looked it up - Yeah I wonder if Worx plans to add additional clamps
I think your review underestimated the value of the storage shelf beneath the Keter table. Certainly it is not quite as intuitive to open as the Worx table, but once you do it a time or two, it's quite simple. You also didn't discuss the use of the clamps vertically through the large holes in the top of the table. FInally, the Keter, when it's folded up can stand by itself, in either horizontal or vertical orientation without falling over or having to be leaned against or hung on a wall. Anyway, it was good to see some side by side comparisons. Thanks!
great comment - glad you liked the video
Second that, it packs up small and is sturdy.
Lowes had the Worx on the end cap , clearance.. was not looking for one, but it was marked at $17 ...🤓. It was a different model. The one with metal bands , 300 pound rated and carrys real easy.
Wow - that is a great price - not sure about the different model.
@@Kitearmy yeah I actually asked cashier if was correct. She said yeah clearance item
. I really like it very compact and easy to setup. I use it for my mitre saw and helps setting up when I need a work table instead of working on floor or bucket like I was doing sometimes..
@@recyclespinning9839 I might have actually reviewed that table - does it fold up like a compact chair?
@@Kitearmy it's called the sidekick
@@recyclespinning9839 Oh yeah - I reviewed that table - very cool
The only thing I wish WORX had was a vertical AS WELL as horizontal clamp system. Don't get me wrong, I HAVE a Pegasus and love it. I got it for $25US because it was open box and one of the tracks were bent in but I fixed that. So it was perfect for a handyman like me on a budget. Now if I can only find a way to replace the rubber parts on the clamps!😁
The clamps can be oriented vertically.
Take it to a shoe shop. I'm sure the can repair the rubber. Lol
Id like to see you do a review on the Dewalt and the Husky folding tables. I agree with this video, from what I can see the keter looks cheaply made.
Edit. Ha I seen you made a dewalt table video, about to watch that now, maybe you made a husky one already too
Give this a try: czcams.com/video/GK1H8OKT0pw/video.html
Keter table can the legs be adjusted
some models
One statement you made was right on. Men can become OCD about their work table
I get reminded of that fact every day...all the hate comments
And HOW!
You should put a heavy duty ratchet strap (or two) around the trees and beam of the swings, so when the tree's blow in the wind and separate, your fixings won't work loose.
It survived all these years - sadly I'm almost ready to take it down
I see the keter is sold in Australia as Ryobi. Complete with the green accents and grey handle.
It's a good design overall.
Worx loses out simply because as soon as you put something or lean on a corner area it topples over.
Clamps that size on one of these are overkill.
Haven't had the problem - we don't have a similar Ryobi table in US
The worx table is $150 on Amazon now I paiid $50 for my Keter at Sams Club! No one uses only the calmps that come with a table!
I have used those clamps - but for the price difference I think I'm with you
I was at my Sam's Club this week and they had the 700lb Keter discounted to $45 plus tax! Soooooooo tempted but I have three B&D Workmates already. The Worx looks better anyway.
With 3 B&D workmates you should be all set
Ive had the keter for a couple years and it has sagged considerably over time. The clamps are terrible and its too short.
Mine is still fine but I have only had it for a year
Can the worx pegasus also be used like a horse?
yes it folds down into an a frame
I just ordered the Worx. It had very little to do with your review. I just liked the way it sets up better.
Thanks for sharing - sorry the review did not help you
The Ketter in currently on sale at Sams Club for $40
Buy 2!
No I didn’t mean that way. I had made up my mind before watching your video. The video was extremely positive
Oh - it'm used to getting beating up here. Thanks for letting me know
Kite Army dont pay attention to stupid people or stupid comments. It can eat away at you when people are just mean or over dramatic because they don’t have anything else better to do, or going on in their lives. Lame comments don’t mean anything. 🙂👍🏻
Right on man. U gotta outshine the darkness 👍 Engaging with negative people will only produce more negativity and eventually create guilt for stooping to their level. Let it slide and associate more value towards the positive people that actually support what you’re doing. God bless 👍😎❤️
I know it is a few years since you posted this great comparison video, but you forgot to mention, or maybe you didn't notice at the time, but the legs on the Keter extend to make the table a little taller.
I'm not sure that is true on this model
@@Kitearmy , Ok, I am mistaken. I had seen one at my local Northern Tool store and I was under the impression that the holes in the legs were used to make the legs extend.
@@jmackinjersey1 No worries - they have oval shapes at the top that make it look adjustable - it's not on the model I tested
how much is it? Where can I buy?
Lowes - $99
garage ninja for the win
Bruce Lee this thing
Two grown men can stand on the keter like a scaffold. The OSHA folks probably wouldnt approve but it can be done. They are both good tools though.
OSHA would not be thrilled about that
now this is a decent review :-) I'm curious though, why do you think the Worx clamps are more robust? Do they have more holding power? Also, when folding the keter you can get the legs to fit properly by using little momentum at the end.
My opinion but the Worx clamps are wider and just beefier. Yes, the Keter legs are made to fold underneath - I think one of the locks is broken on mine.
Just got one from Costco $50 and the lock mechanism broke off when I tried to close it.,.
did you buy the worx or the keter bench? and which costco location did you go to?
@@brianbenz7665 That's got to be the Keter - The worx does not have a lock on it. In the end I liked the Worx over the Keter.
Same here. But, it's an Indicator. Not an essential mechanism. And, my indicator popped out. It didn't " Break ". I still have it. Just can't be bothered to look and see how it pops back in.
Fact is; we, probably, both just got the closing technique wrong, first time. (Bet neither of us read the full instructions first) Don't let the absence of a bit of plastic worry ye, once your adult brain has told ye it's all set. It's all set ;-)
I use power tools on mine. Big, nasty, screaming circular saw. Inches from my groin. No Way I'd be doing that, if I doubted the integrity of my Keter :O
