I've had one for 5 years. I've been amused many a time, and drawn a small crowd on occasion when I set one up. Clamping around the edge is where it struggles a little, so I could do with filling in the underside with a few blocks. There is also a height adjustable version, but it doesn't seem to be available in this country. I bought one for easy storage, as it lives under my workbench at home, taking up little space.
I also use it along side Toughbuilt sawhorses to create bigger workspaces as needed, but not taking up valuable storage space when not in use.
I’ve owned one for a few years I’ve used it for many projects the little clamps failed but the table is still going strong it’s never let me down

Got two in the van, work great and not too expensive. Lots of other ones out there that are exactly the same, just different branding.

Thanks for the review, I’ve had one for a few years now and when the professionals see it and use it they inevitably buy one. It’s very portable and stable and the only down side are the clamps - don’t over use! Regards Mike

Designer of that table is not much short of a genius
I'm on my second one, had similar and now this one for about 4 years, really useful bit of kit. First one broke when I left a 75kg granite faceplate on it overnight. Don't overload them.
They recon they can take 453kg! Thought that was bollocks

I have one and I've used it as platform to stand on and I weigh 100kg and it was completely fine.
@@scottsparky1 Maybe it was because I deliberately put the faceplate over the top of just one of the legs, thinking that it would better help to support it. The plastic around the top of the leg cracked away. I came down to the garage the following morning to find everthing lying on the floor. I can't remember what make the table was now, there are a number of them identical other than the name, the new ones a Ketter. I might have been been better putting the faceplate in the middle of the table to support it more evenly and then maybe with it being on the table for 16 hours didn't help.
@@billdoodson4232 would've been best to lay something to spread the load evenly over the entire table, such as a wood plate of a couple cm thick, and the heavy object in the center.
Got the screwfix Macallister version, great bit of kit...best £70 I've ever spent!
Just got one, saved me bending down about 50 times the 1st morning I used it, should of got one years ago

Just got this and the clamps seem to be fused closed. I have no idea how I'm supposed to move them. The manual gives no help whatsoever. I'm probably going to have to return it

Very old news is this. Had a couple for at least 2 years
Oh what do I but a Black and Decker work mate that will last a good Thifty year or more , or a plastic work bench that will be useless when the plastic locking latches break. Choices choices. I have my late father in-laws B&D Work mate that he bought from Woolworths in 1973 and it’s still going strong. Will that plastic thing las that long I doubt it very much. Nice bit of kit though.
I bought one of these and sold my 15 year old b&d workmate. The workmate was much heavier and awkward to store. Also rather ironically the plastic spring clips on some of the legs had broken!
I agree that a genuine Workmake is a great bit of kit, and will outlast one of these. However the Keter packs down to a thin slab which is easy to store, where the workmate is still rather bulky. If I had space, I would have the workmate. But I dont, so the Keter is better for me. But to saw/cut on the workmate with its footplate is hard to beat!
Super fast to set up but heavy to carry and the legs gets snapped off
You didn’t do any cutting 👎🏼 we need to see the stability of this workbench before making a decision to purchase it.
According to the spec I saw on some shop it supposedly holds up to 450kg, I wouldn't trust it with anything near that but if you lay a few 10kg weights on that bottom shelf then it might be stable enough for non-precision cutting.
If you need to clamp a bit of trunking on a plastic table to cut it then give up pal. Load of shite
