    Ayy heavy agree with a lot of these picks
    The true monk fight is like a pre-isshin where it uses almost everything available to teach you to be mindful of different threats flowing into one fight. Also the fact that you can cheese 2nd phase is a nice addition
    Shadows fight was where bloodborne really clicked for me and i finally learnt how to parry. In my first play through they were the boss i died to the most (like 16 tries)
    Demon princes I'd say is not underrated now, since a lot of people appreciate the boss fight as one of the best duo fights
    Genichiro is still the most satisfying boss for me to fight . It's always great coming back after months of not playing and still wrecking geni , it's a "I'M STILL WORTHY" moment

    Dude, I fucking LOVE Shadows of Yharnam! I think a lot of people disliked it because they hadnt mastered the parry yet and also there's just not a lot of spectacle to it. Imo still one of their best ganks

      @@Sargatas im talking about pontiff compared to your description of ds3 bosses. His moveset isnt nearly as easily telegraphed as bosses like DSA and Gundyr. Hes also much quicker than most ds3 bosses and has the most combo extenders out of all the main game bosses if im not mistaken. Obviously hes much slower than rellana as shes an elden ring boss.

    I don't really think Fortissax being named similar to Placidusax is a reason people underrate Fortissax, like-, at all.
    Personally, I just feel like it was extremely weak, like-, I didn't even have to learn its moveset, I was able to first try him while not being overleveled (I fought him even before entering Leyndell, without farming or looking for upgrade materials earlier than intended), basically hit trading (I use light armor and I dodged instead of tanking, but I couldn't even tell you what I was dodging). And even then, the fight felt underwhelming bc like-, while yeah, his attacks looked cool and were probably learnable enough, it also felt like too much was happening at once to actually know what was happening within the battle. I was able to dodge most of his attacks without even knowing the timing of those attacks, I just kinda did it without problems and the boss didn't have that much health either. The camera was weird, there was too much happening at once, and overall-, it feels too easy by the point you reach him to be worth learning his fight. The OST is good, but you can't even get to properly hear it.

      @brainXzero Před 13 dny

      what make fortissax "underrated" (I disagree btw, I just think he's mid) is really 2 things :
      he is locked behind a tedious questilne in a small optionnal area
      and ffs 80% of his moveset is just copy/paste of any ancient dragon, making him a kinda clone fight

    • @xd-px5ne
      @xd-px5ne Před 13 dny

      @@brainXzero I wouldn't say the questline is one of the reasons. I'd argue that without the questline his battle wouldn't have the impact it has. It's a fight that involves the narrative of the questline and all that kind of stuff. Of course, you might find it tedious doing it on repest playthroughs, buuut I'd argue that for someone playing the game for the first time and trying to engage with the story of the game, the characters and the questlines, the story behund the boss fight (involving the questline) would make it a better and more epic fight than it would be without the questline, and I'd ssy that's the biggest amount of people who play the game.
      The second reason tho, absolutely.

    I think that in Elden Ring DLC commander Gaius has recieved too much undeserved hate. People call him the worst boss ever on emotions driven by only his charge attack alone. Yes, he has atrotious hitbox on that attack, but overall he has pretty good moveset...
