My problem with Radahn is not in his difficulty. He's just not fun to fight. He is the only exception in my entire life when I didn't like to fight a strong boss. His moveset was atrotious to learn because I spent 4 hours just to properly see what he's doing at the first place. Hell, I was able to almost no-hit every other boss in DLC by this time because I could at least learn them from the start. Those beams and Miquella's hair obscure the vision so hard that I can't see an attack until I get smacked in the face. Also those aftershock beams are not consistent in their placements. Sometimes they can appear a little left or a little right from the attack and I can dodge in the same direction 5 times, 2 of them I will get hit, 3 I won't. It makes the fight feel like some stupid casino. He doesn't even have that strong moveset. It's all about just obscuring the vision and those beams that always lead to stunlocking to death. By the way: Nameless King and Midir are very weak and Malenia has 1 oneshoting move and 99% of the time she is completely harmless.

I feel like consort radahn will be on this list in a few years, cuz of everyone saying it's trash cuz they suck.

Ayy heavy agree with a lot of these picks The true monk fight is like a pre-isshin where it uses almost everything available to teach you to be mindful of different threats flowing into one fight. Also the fact that you can cheese 2nd phase is a nice addition Shadows fight was where bloodborne really clicked for me and i finally learnt how to parry. In my first play through they were the boss i died to the most (like 16 tries) Demon princes I'd say is not underrated now, since a lot of people appreciate the boss fight as one of the best duo fights Genichiro is still the most satisfying boss for me to fight . It's always great coming back after months of not playing and still wrecking geni , it's a "I'M STILL WORTHY" moment

I don't really think Fortissax being named similar to Placidusax is a reason people underrate Fortissax, like-, at all. Personally, I just feel like it was extremely weak, like-, I didn't even have to learn its moveset, I was able to first try him while not being overleveled (I fought him even before entering Leyndell, without farming or looking for upgrade materials earlier than intended), basically hit trading (I use light armor and I dodged instead of tanking, but I couldn't even tell you what I was dodging). And even then, the fight felt underwhelming bc like-, while yeah, his attacks looked cool and were probably learnable enough, it also felt like too much was happening at once to actually know what was happening within the battle. I was able to dodge most of his attacks without even knowing the timing of those attacks, I just kinda did it without problems and the boss didn't have that much health either. The camera was weird, there was too much happening at once, and overall-, it feels too easy by the point you reach him to be worth learning his fight. The OST is good, but you can't even get to properly hear it.

Dude, I fucking LOVE Shadows of Yharnam! I think a lot of people disliked it because they hadnt mastered the parry yet and also there's just not a lot of spectacle to it. Imo still one of their best ganks

I think that in Elden Ring DLC commander Gaius has recieved too much undeserved hate. People call him the worst boss ever on emotions driven by only his charge attack alone. Yes, he has atrotious hitbox on that attack, but overall he has pretty good moveset...

Radahn is such a disappointing end to such a great DLC. Fought him well over a hundred times and eventually just gave up and cheesed him.

Leyendyl is an absolute masterclass in level design, aesthetic, and cohesion. Shockingly, it’s topped in the dlc with the Shadow Keep. That place has so much code it’s mind-boggling. There are nearly 15 sites of grace to be found and it connects to no less than 5 outside areas. Incredible.

Radahn was fucking awesome. There’s only one move I hate, and it’s the same one everyone else hates cause you can’t reliably dodge it. But other than that beating him was probably the best feeling i’ve ever had in these games. And the music!

Gaius Normally I'd pick Bayle and Messmer just above Romina but Messmer leans too much into delays for my taste which donwgrades him and Bayle has an atrocious camera mixed up with movements so flashy that sometimes you don't even know what's happening, but good bosses nontheless

I used to hate soulslike games. After sitting on my thoughts, I realize it wasn't the games but the player base that turned me off, I sat down and forced myself to to play eldenring and found that I really enjoy it! -Given that I ignore the try hards who tell me how to play the game in a manner that's only to stroke their ego, like not recommending summons when it's a part of game

For me it's Romina, Midra and Messmer at the top. They remind me of what I love about the Souls games, with Romina and Midra especially being very Souls-like fights.

Tbh, I think Elden Ring base game is too hard. I've beaten DS3 10x. However, Elden Ring I've only beaten completely once (including Melania). All the other times I've tried I ended up stopping 1/2 through, including this week with a dexterity build. It just idk, it's too much of a drag to level up in Elden Ring compared to other souls games.

The new Radahn is both the hardest and the best fromsoft fight

Uhh, too hard. That’s subjective from soft games were never for everyone but there are bosses that have balancing issues. Even greatly designed bosses like Mesmer can also be insanely hard if played without cheeses and summons. It’s just they were designed to give you hard time but someone like commander gius was just straight up bad boss design. Yet to complete more bosses but some bosses are just straight up dumb.

The final boss is hands down the most difficult boss in the entire souls series IMO other than maybe inner owl father and isshin.

Is it really hard? I have never played it, but I keep seeing people say they think it's easy compared to games like Dark and Darker, which I have tried. Even that game is easy once you figure it out. Most people probably just have a skill issue

I might be in the ultra rare camp when saying the dlc was actually too easy. Nothing gave me a real challenge up until radahn, who has easily become one of my favorite from soft bosses. All the other bosses I needed maybe 3-5 tries to beat which was really disappointing, radahn felt like the true start of the dlc's difficulty for me and it ends there as well. Still some really cool fights in the dlc though, messmer is another good fight but he needs more health, and same goes for midra.

It is very hard. Annoyingly so at times. But it is so worth it. Bayle's phase 2 transition alone makes everything worth it.

I learnt why I got killed so many times in phase 2 radahn, double slash to X stun lock with the light and miquella’s hair on securing radahns attacks. His moveset is less difficult to learn than bosses such as morgott, malenia, Rellana, messmer and even in other games: friede, orpha. However radahns phase 2 comes with light BS and it only works on the really big aoe’s however the light attacks that comes with normal combos mean that you could get clipped and actually be stun locked into some of his combos this along with all the visual clutter means that any difficulty that comes from the fight is being able to actually play the game

Justice for putrecent knight, once you figure out his really awkward attack patterns then he’s extremely fun it’s almost like he feinting attacks.

Nameless king was built for a solo fight while Radahn and many other DLC bosses aren’t. They’re built for summons like mimic , the more tools the game gives u the harder the bosses are gonna be I rather go back to solo bosses and no ash summons bc at least they were fair for solo players

Orrrr for the people have been complaining about the game can you know, use the actual tools that the DLC provides the players. Like the Scadutree Fragments, DLC weapons, summons, rune arcs. An actual critique that I completely agree with is that some bosses have janky hit boxes. Gaius by far has the jankiest hit box I've faced, also why tf is the AD Sennesax fight so aggravatingly janky? Can't even hit its back legs, constantly being forced to attack up front and my favorite part, putting the big ass dragon in a pond. 🙃 overall beautiful video as always, absolutely loving the Elden Ring content!! ❤️🗣️

The thing with radahn. Is he has such a sick move set. Its all so amazing, but its got so many issues with visual clutter. That bastard hitching a ride on radahns back flashbanging me every 4.6 seconds so his big hunk of a husband can cut my head off is just disgusting. If i coukd see all his attacks i wouldnt have a problem with this fight.

you gotta roll into the charge for commander gauis, that was a fun fight imo felt kinda like gyobu from sekiro it was challenging but i thought it was pretty fair, just tricky to get the timing right sometimes

I do think romina and scadutree avatar are kind of underrated. Based placement for the final boss because he sucks balls

While I can definitely agree that rhadan is insanely difficult, that is just why I would put him in at least the top 5. I have yet to beat him yet but love the challenge and i can’t wait to finally surpass him
