It's a technical version of the maul for engineers. The range and speed is poor and handles like the maul but it's features more than makes up for it. For one, it has blunt damage overhead/swing and cut dmg on stabs only. It does a lot of damage going from 60s to even 100s+ against knights and footmen so you are guaranteed 2hkos on heavies. This might not be true against Vanguards but the stabs do 60 on lights to 80 on heavies which means you can 2hko vanguards with heavy stabs only. It can knock down horsemen but unlike the spear, you can stop a cavalry charge and only knock off the rider and finish him off while leaving the horse in tact. It can also deal heavy damage against horses themselves if you find there is no need for one. It's affected by the engineer bonus so you can also use it against objectives albeit it's less effective compared to sledgehammer and pickaxe because it's slower and deals slightly less dmg compared to the former two.
That sound tho *bonk* it hits like a train,I just wish you could accel it into the sound barrier like the sledge,but then that'd downplay the good old hammer. I play highland main anymore and if you go past your enemies a bit and hit them with the tail end of the swing it works well.

Gutenberg is difficult definitely, shame it has that hollow thwack kinda sound to it. Yea 1st skin is ugly as hell. Is a dragging beast with basic heavy slashes, just find a counter or repost in 1vX frontline and your bound to get some hits. May be frustrating to fight someone that somehow knows how to counter you way to well but just try to force that heavy slash to it very limit and it should connect with anybody. Shit use it like executioner for real
yeah playing engineers is definitely trying too hard. If you play this map more than 5 times you'd know Agartha ain't getting that win with or without engineers. The balance on this map sucks tremendously.
So like, you say they shouldn't defend the bridge "like their real families live there" etc. but so like are you saying that they shouldn't try to win while playing the game? Like, I'm not comprehending some grey "in between" state of mind where you are trying, but not really, or like you don't care whether you win or lose. The fun is 100% in winning, so if you are playing a video game to win (even if it's casually) you are still going to put the same amount of effort into trying to win... not because it's more work, but because it's fun. So how can you expect people to not have fun on purpose? Like, I know it's not just because I'm stoned that I'm having an issue with this. Get real bro. Where is the fun in letting the other team win? I'm not getting this frame of mind you are suggesting here bro.
