Hard work and heart is all it takes his story is incredible went from wanting to kill himself to working like a dog in the nba.
In the series, he said he used to study how shots come off the rim on certain players and the spin of the ball
@@fjnemo yeah I saw that man. It's like how great defenders study habits of offensive players. Dennis studied ball rotations. Truly a great player. He made rebounding an art form.

Best defensive player ever by far. Physically gifted with gigantic balls and heart. Played in the toughest NBA era against the best competition. An animal
@bone-snypa he very well could be.
Idk why you’re laughing as if it’s a completely ridiculous take.

Rodman really changed the game. He made hustle plays cool. He’s the reason players jump over the front row and scramble for loose balls the way they do today.

Rodman was one of those "grease" kind of guys. One of those parts of the machine that you don't realize the importance of until it's gone. He may not score a bunch, but indirectly he's taking opposing points off the scoreboard and putting them up for his team.
This dude's energy was off the charts man
Literally. Michael Jordan did anything to win and there were no limits for what he would do. While Dennis Rodman did anything to just get the ball and give it to his teammates. And the result is a second 3 peat. Dominance, Hustle + Hunger + energy made this
Right!? Rodman would DIE just to get that ball! Turned the court into a mosh pit 😆 I'm convince Rodman could've done well in the NFL too.
His passing is so underrated. Rodman with that very high basketball IQ in general.
In 'the last dance' Jordan says Rodman is the smartest teammate he ever played with and that he understands the game to it's core.
He got the visions bro
This is what I’ve been saying. His Basketball IQ might be better than Jordan’s.

Being from Chicago this man was larger than life. He was the fuel that the city needed to win 6 championships and keep the opposition from scoring.
This guy I had the honor of watching throughout my childhood. A few things I loved about him was he was never a lazy defender and no matter how old he got, he always had energy to keep up with guys 5-10+ years younger than him and never stopped. Always went for the ball when he should. Guy was a freak of nature on the defensive end. His lockdown defense was hugely what kept the Pistons and Bulls ahead all the time. I mean, he made an all defense team 8 years in a row and won 2 consecutive DPOY's. Yes he was admittedly not a scorer but he didn't have to be. He is not just the greatest rebounder who wasn't a center but he definitely is a top 10 all time greatest defender to me. Top 5 non-center. Guy had no shame.
Not even top 10, he’s top 5 for sure.
No Rodman - no second three-peat.
