  • Dennis Rodman was so much fun to watch. I love how he was himself and didn't care what people think of him. He was so good, he made it to the Hall of Fame while averaging less than 10 points per game. Amazing rebounder and defensive player.

    I agree with Mourning that Rodman is one of the greats. There are tons of players that can score the basketball, but there is only one guy who can grab 17 rebounds a game, guard every position, and psychologically destroy his opponents all at once. What Rodman contributed to the game is utterly irreplaceably. There is just quite literally no other player like him in the history of the game.

      Bulls were a dynamic team; Rodman is easily _the_ best rebounder of all-time and easily one of the best defenders of all-time. Scottie was easily was a top 3 two-way players of all-time; if not the best. Phil was easily a top 3 coach of all-time; if not _the_ best. Kukoc was a terrific scorer. Kerr was the most accurate 3pt sniper of all-time. Bulls had an expertly-crafted and well-rounded team 1 through 15. They ALL stayed fairly healthy and in top shape consistently for years.
      Meanwhile MJ stans be like: *MJ* did it all by himself. *MJ* went 6-0. MJ, MJ, MJ. Don't get me wrong, MJ is still the goat, AND he had a goat-level supporting cast, and when he didn't have all that help, he was getting swept out the 1st round every year or not even making the playoffs for 8 years.

      Same with Bird. Many hate on him, but in my eyes you can't have a top 5 without him. Guys like Bird and Rod make the team win and thats the point, Who cares if one guy dominates his team, but doesnt lift the whole team up. The best players are the ones that bring out the best in their team. And Rod and Bird sure as hell did that.

      Dennis Rodman is a NBA legend who was known for his rebounding skills and rebounding ability more than his scoring. He only respected a few NBA players, Chuck Daly and Phil Jackson. He also loved Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen. The Pistons were die hard fans who loved the heck outta him. He has no respect for the Spurs organization because he felt out of place and felt he didn’t belong there. He hated David Robinson, Bob Hill, Gregg Popovich, Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant. Jordan was just as crazy as this guy just not in the same way. He was crazy about winning and would do anything necessary to do so. Jordan didn’t make friends, he literally took everything personally.

    During the Piston Bulls rivalry were some of the best sports memories in my life. I was the lowly Bulls fan among my family and ate a lot of crow during the Pistons dominate years. They played rough basketball that’s not allowed nowadays. When the Bulls finally broke free of Detroits dominance my time to gloat had arrived.

    Rodman shut down the Diesel at his peak.
    For me...that says it all about his talent.
    It also shows why MJ tolerated Rodman's behaviour more than he would have done for anyone else.
    Becuase MJ knew Rodman would make sure him/the Bulls would win.

    Dennis is one of the greatest rebounders in NBA history,even though he is ranked 23 for most rebounds. His knowledge of how different players shot the ball and the difference in spins in their shots was insane. Nobody studied shit like that in the 80’s-90’s. I’m not sure if they do it today because the game has changed so much

      @tomking7080 Před 9 měsíci +1

      @@loydkline I don’t understand what you mean by “selfish rebounder” but I agree with the rest of your statement. Dennis studied how a player shot the ball and would know where the ball would go if they missed. He knew that if the ball hit a certain part of the rim where it would most likely go. He should be teaching a college course on it. Professor Rodman.

      @@loydkline Well that’s what a rebounder does. He tries to get as many rebounds as possible. Dennis was a team player. Especially after he came back from the Vegas incident and Pippen was out. Dennis really stepped it up.

    Dennis Rodman's impact on the NBA was truly remarkable! His tenacity on the court and exceptional defensive skills made him a key player in any team he was part of. It's always intriguing to hear insights from NBA legends, as they have first-hand experience and a deep understanding of the game. Rodman's ability to rebound and his unique playing style definitely set a new standard in the league. It's so fascinating to think about how players like him have shaped the game of basketball over the years! 🏀🌟

    I had black champion Rodman jersey back in the 90's. I kinda outgrew it but it was like new. My friends apartment caught fire and he lost just about everything. He came over one day and i said take whatever man, obviously with a limit. He still remembers that jersey, i still miss it and the nostalgia of the Champion brand blew back up. I should get another black Chicago Rodman jersey.......
