- While playing MSFS 2020 everyone is bound to fly a little reckless at times and even crash. To allow you to get as crazy as you want, you will need to turn damage to easy and learn how to use the slew mode once you are stuck.
Slew mode
- Slew toggle: brings you in and out of slew mode
- Translate (Left, right, forward back, up and down): moves the aircraft
- Slew roll: rolls the aircraft left and right while staying in a fixed location
- Slew yaw: turns your view left and right while staying in a fixed location
- Slew pitch: looks up and down while staying in a fixed location

The airspeed indicator goes to more than 400,000 knots, that's faster than *Mach 600* at sea level!!! In fact, it can reach almost 590,000 knots :o
Also, the vertical speed indicator reaches over 3,300,000 feet per minute, that's almost *Mach 50* at sea level!!!

Thx so much I’ve been searching how to toggle slew mode for 2 hours
The moment the *Y* key is pressed, it enters the Slew Mode, causing the airspeed indicator to read 0 KIAS
The propeller RPM remains consistent. The instant the propeller RPM reads 2250.00 RPM upon entering Slew mode, it will remain at 2250.00 RPM until Slew mode is turned off. For a two-bladed propeller, the blade passage frequency remains unchanged: *75.000 Hz*

Go to the control settings and type in slew mode. Then you have to put in your own control for slew mode on series x.

can you change the view from looking from behind to like the side.. Cause like I use slew alot when correcting stuff at the gate.. I fly with slew like you were showing in the vid here.. I use slew like I said if plane looks off from the J-Line and want to straighten it up.. That's when I use slew. I was always use to p3d having it from the side

Great vid. Is this possible when on a flight plan with AP ON? The intention is to Fast forward the time required to get to the destination quicker.
you can do this at any point but you have to move it manually, so you would have to find the altitude and position and place it there. There is a button to fast forward and slowdown time though. I think this function would be more alog the lines of what you're looking for. To look up or program the fastforward function I believe the name is simrate or sim rate.

@@mosoysa7782 Just checked. On controller it is not set up but you can manually set something up. Go to "Options" then "Controls Options". At the top make sure "Controller" is selected. If you're on console its probably set to controller already. Then on the left hand side under "filter" make sure that is set to "all". then above it in search, do "search by name" and type in "sim rate" You will then see Increae and decrease sim rate. set your own buttons. I suggest setting it as a combination of buttons. Likely most of the buttons will already be taken. Dont set it to a duplicate button. It may mess things up. if you can't find a button or combination of buttons that are free then delete the binding to something you dont ever use and then set the sim rate to that. Sorry the explination is so long. Hope it helps.

When actually flying the plane? On the ground you will use yaw also known as rudder. In the air pitch also known as elevator will control up and down, roll also known as ailerons will control turns in the air. What equipment are you using

@@scythe8609 I know this will be very late but 8 is down, 2 is up, 4 is left, and 6 is right. you need to use the number pad on the side of your keyboard for this though

If you're on Xbox you have to program them yourself. I go over how to program them.
