My hair loced fairly quickly too, about 6 months for me. Anyway, you and your locs are absolutely beautiful and this video is very inspiring

I been debating for a few years if I wanted locs. For Easter I went over my fiancé family's house and his cousin had sisterlocks. I was determined then and there so when I got home I looked up sisterlocks and found your channel. I love your photos and locs. I'm excited to start this journey!

Your hair is what I invision my own. Your style is also similar to my own. Your Sisterlocks are gorgeous! I got my sisterlock's established 0n 7/21/2017 with 3 inches. I'm at 13 inches now. However, I had some damage due to using permanent hair color. I ended up cutting the damage section out and now it's uneven. I don't want to cut the other side of my hair, but watching your journey helps Mr to appreciate the process of hair growth in sisterlocks. I will consider cutting them even and try to have faith that it will grow back evenly. I no longer use permanent hair color by the way. Thanks for sharing.

have you combined locks to counteract the thickening? i think it is good to know how many you have. section them off and ask someone to count them for you. just a suggestion. have you encountered men wanting and wearing sisterlocks?

Happy Holidays 🥳 AllSmiless, congratulations 🎉 on your sisterlocks journey. I started noticing my hair grazing my shoulders around 2016 / 2017. Interestingly, my hair grew out (like an Afro) and then it dropped.
I wish the pictures were clearer then how they look
