- Hey everyone. I still stand by my statement that FNaF 1 has and will continue to have the best theories of the franchise. But that doesn't mean FNaF 2 doesn't have some good ones.

One time I dreamt that Toy Bonnie was actually running the whole pizzeria and made a fake night guard to trick Phone Guy into thinking he had friends.

Honestly, Mangle’s radio and the cutscenes inside Freddy are still kinda interesting. We still don’t really know what they actually was supposed to mean, if they even were supposed to mean anything at all. That’s kinda cool tho

It’s directly stated that the toy animatronics are connected to a criminal database and intended to alert authorities. Because Mangle is all broken, those systems are exposed, and the audio is corrupted.
It's implied in the game that those cutscenes represent the kids waking up as animatronics after the marionette gave them life in the minigame, Freddy being the last one to woke up

those freddy looking around cutscenes are genuinly one of the most uncomfortable things of the fnaf games for me. topped by the end game of help wanted though. removing all the lore and stories of the afton and emily families, just thinking about what happened to those kids. it's a lot.
Those cutscenes gave me nightmares when the game first released, only game that’s ever managed to do anything like that.

Those cutscenes still send a chill down my spine to this. The darkness, ambience, noise that sounds like weird, alien talking, Chica's dark eyes and face staring *into your soul!* Eugh. I love/hate them so much. Always picture proof that FNAF needs neither blood nor gore to be scary.
I believe what the cutscenes before each night in FNAF 2 are supposed to portray is the spirit inside of Freddy slowly bonding with their vessel, the sustaied "AAA" being them trying to scream, but only being able to produce a robotic sound. Hence why the Puppet comes in eventually and the other animatronics look at Freddy. Sort of a "you're finally awake" monent.

Tbh, it’s probably due to TLT being aware of a lot of the early theories and actively writing songs to support certain theories that already existed
TLT's FNAF 2 song was the reason why I believed the Puppet was a girl. I was right, but I never expected her to be Henry's daughter.
Reverse the genders in the FNAF 2 song and you basically got Henry and Charlie's whole deal, so it's not far off.

There was an old theory where some people thought there was a child hiding inside Balloon Boy, the proof being two apparent eyes being visible inside BB's mouth. This apparently explained why he wouldn't jumpscare you and instead laugh, because the kid that was probably trapped had found an adult that could help him (hence the "Hello?"), and was laughing with joy

Charlie was outside the building when William came by and killed her and left her in the back alley. Then the puppet which was made to protect Charlie came to the corpse and deactivated on it, which creates the puppet
My theory is that Foxy participated in the Battle Of Verdun and Bonnie was killed in a helicopter crash in Vietnam
BonBon having no lower body is of course a reference to how Bonnie had his legs severed by helicopter blades before bleeding out in a Vietnamese swamp.
New theory, Full Metal Jacket is part of the FNAF timeline. “Animal Mother” is a reference to how he’s the strongest of a group of Marines who all gained animal based nicknames. (Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, Freddy/Fredbear). Henry Emily and William Afton were part of Animal Mother’s platoon during the Tet offensive. Inspired by the horrors of war and the desire to shift their lives towards peace and joy, Henry and William (mainly Henry) envision Fredbear and Bonnie, and later the rest of the cast. This is referenced in the Mickey Mouse song at the end of Full Metal Jacket. Displaying how the Marines have had their childhood innocence ripped away for good with their baptism by fire. However, it also displays a yearning for those happier days that Henry believed could be revived through his own children’s characters. Assuming William and Henry were drafted or enlisted at 17-18 they would be in their mid to late 30s by the events of FNAF 4 and the opening of Fredbear’s which roughly lines up as I doubt they would be able to have such an (initially) formidable company built in their early 20s. Furthermore, Full Metal Jacket displays the use of child soldiers such as the Sniper in the end fight of the film. During this time William could have possibly started his child killing spree without even fully realizing it. (I may have been joking when I originally typed this but now I really want to believe in it.)
Pondering this insane level of stretch further, the song “Paint it black” that plays at the end of Full Metal Jacket has many lyrics that match up with Henry and William’s story. While the song itself sounds like it is about a man losing his Wife, it could also be seen about a man losing his daughter. “I see the girls walk by dressed in their summer clothes, I have to hold my head until my darkness goes”. “I could not foresee this thing happening to you” “I look inside myself and see my heart is black” etc. This reflects Henry’s grief and depression following Charlie’s death in the drive by stabbing mini game.

Hear me out, Bonnie also have something to do with Napoleon. Napoleon once tried to hunt rabbit but it got backfired. One rabbit gain sentient and invented so called "Remnant" which he put his soul into. Around 140 ish years later, he served in Vietnam and he got killed there.

@@Prxypad UCN has two voices sounding at once, the higher-pitched one is a bit more prominent, but they are kind of on par. The thing is, Mangle was the first ever character to replace another (toy versions of the main three were based on the same in-game character), and since foxy (number one fan favorite at the time) was male people were like "that's toy foxy, foxy is male, toy foxy must be too". The theory was that mangle had a clown theme and that explained the lipstick

@@Brain_pocketerI blame Scott for not having a consistent story to follow. The games couldn’t answer questions without causing you to ask more questions. UCN shouldn’t’ve had lore with it (other than Afton being in hell), and Pizzeria Simulator should have been the end of the story. Love the games and appreciate Scott’s creativity and willingness to sprout an entire universe and franchise out of pure willpower but he could have handled the story better.

This video has reminded me how much scarier and creepier FNaF 2 is than any of the newer games. I don't know if it is beause it came out when I was younger, or if it is because it was my first FNaF game or if it was genuinely scarier but I miss it. Something about the being stuck in a single room and that incredible cold opening cut scene are unmatched for me. This is easily the best game in the franchise if you ask me.

Fnaf 2 era in the spanish speaking community is remembered as a time with very stupid theories, because of two theories, created by the same user, Deimoss, which were the following:
Shipping theory: This theory establishes that the toy animatronics were created to be the romantic partners of the original animatronics, making Freddy x Toy Freddy, Bonnie x Toy Bonnie, Foxy x Mangle and Chica x Toy chica canon.
Wizard theory: This theory tries to explain the design of the purple guy, just like how matpad thought it was a phone Deimoss thought it was a magic wand and that made Purple guy a wizard.

I remember hearing this one theory back in the day that Toy Bonnie was the one to take Toy Chica's beak because, and I kid you not, colour theory. The person was taking art class at the time and was talking about how blue was the opposite of orange and therefor Toy Bonnie, being blue, took Toy Chica's beak because it was orange. They also mentioned something about the two of them having beef with each other but it's been 8 years so I can't remember all the details. In hindsight it's a really funny theory and I'm glad I managed to remember most of it.

One genuinely interesting theory I saw was about Mangle’s radio. It speculated that based on the occasional voice lines that could be heard in the radio static, Mangle’s radio was playing a police response to either the Bite of ‘87 or the 2nd spree of murders that occurred at the FNAF 2 location. There’s some lines in the Night 6 phone call that sort of add to this.

If I remember correctly the Mangle radio tidbit was actually Mangle trying to broadcast the equivalent of a “no/ failing connection” code to the police net
Which basically means it’s scanner and other related security systems were borked (makes sense considering it’s state) and it’s constantly trying to phone home

4:29 You know, there have been some recent timeline theories that propose that Mike might've worked alongside Afton up until Sister Location, if we go by those theories, then this theory could maybe come back with the badged purple man being Mike tampering with the animatronics and William being the pink-child-killer he's always been.
(I don't really believe in this theory, but it is an interesting perspective to look at the games through, plus it makes this one small detail look REALLY COOL :D)

It would be cool, I think however that the purple guy was badged because William was working the day shift to be able to pull of his crimes. Also the tampering with animatronics thing was all actually just an easter egg since to play the night you had to mess with them to change the difficulty. That’s a nice theory however :D

We know now that William was keeping tabs on his kids to keep them away from the animatronics and continue his research. So I doubt he’d have the kid who killed his younger kid, work with him at all

I remember some saying that Mangle/Foxy's teeth didnt necessarily mean they did the bite since their teeth were both flattened at the end. But with the angle and way Mangle literally _lunges_ into you, im pretty sure her teeth can do a bit of damage, blunt or not.
Literally all the animatronics save for Toilet Bonnie open their mouth and jump straight at your face. While Mangle is certainly a candidate, he/she/“yes” is not the end all be all.

This is related to the next game, and it is something Mat Pat brought up, but I always wondered if the Shadow animatronics were in fact employees killed by other springlock suits. Phone Guy mentions why they were discontinued and in hindsight he wouldn't know about Afton's death. The reason they act different is because they're not child murder victims or the murderer punished in an ironic fashion, but the ghosts of normal people killed by company incompetence
7:38 I pretty much always saw it as him using Golden Freddy. There are some big unanswered questions related to that conclusion, but it is the one that makes the most sense, considering that reusing character designs like that is usually purposeful in this series, like how there are multiple potential reasons why Shadow Bonnie generally looks like Toy Bonnie and then like what one would expect Springtrap to look like in 8bit.
I like to imagine that this was the original Freddy costume that the killer used to lure away the children and that the costume is old crusty and tattered considering how old the restaurant is

So, the theory says that after the events in TF2 comics, Scout took a job in a Freddy Fazbear Pizza, where he was bit by one of the animatronics and died

That background image with all the characters in the hallway isnt possible in game. Sort of. Bonnie and freddy can apper together, and chica and magle can apper together, and freddy and Chica, but not all 4. So my theory is that this is an alternative universe where the nazi theory for the first game is true. And the animatronics each represent a member of the allies during ww2.

Nostalgic video, its always fun to look back on old theories and see how things have changed with each game.
Okay so a theory that popped into my head while watching this: What if the halloween update for fnaf 4 was supposed to be a hypothetical view for Charlie? My main thought for this is that in the main game, Nightmare is just a recolored and more sinister looking nightmare fredbear, who of course we know bit the head off of the player’s head. In the halloween version, nightmare is a more twisted puppet which of course is what Charlie possesses. Furthermore, nightmare mangle is in the closet instead of foxy which of course we know mangle was meant to be targeted more towards girls. For the jack-o-animatronics my only sort of connection would be Charlie smelling the smoke of Afton’s car or something.

I love these videos because it’s a good example of finding patterns in random noise, confirmation bias, and anomaly hunting. It’s made more complicated by the fact that the creator would then take the cool ideas he liked and make them plot points later making them seem correct but almost all of this is just hallucinating ideas over random noise.
But this is an extremely valuable lesson for more serious topics. Just because you found something weird (aka an anomaly) doesn’t necessarily imply anything other than randomness. This is why basic statistical literacy is so important. If you look at literally any event in history in extreme detail, you will find an endless supply of weird details that could be used to support any baseless conspiracy theory you wanted.

The theory I always heard back in the day IRT Mangle calling the cops was that it was a replay of the emergency call from the Bite of 87 because it sounded vaguely like the words in it were saying "we've got a little boy he's missing a frontal lobe. Obviously it was fake but it was fun back in the day.
3:40 mangle’s static is an audio sample of drone telemetry. it’s basically just a recording of radio static from a drone communicating with ground control, like a radar. basically, the speech you hear in the static is completely meaningless, but it is entirely possible that the radio frequency between the drone and ground control interfered with a police radio, which is really interesting.
scott used a short clipping of this audio too, the full thing is honestly really freaky. it’s called “SoundDogs, Drones - Telemetry - Steady Radio Static & Frequency Tones W/ Sporadic Underlying Vocals, Changes Throughout”
I’ve also heard the police radio in Mangle’s death sounds be used as evidence towards them being the bite suspect as some say you can hear the officer in the static talk about a child missing their frontal lobe which is where phone guy said the bite victim was bit in the first game

I was heavy into the lore of FNAF in the early days, and even though I may have been like 12 or so, I still couldn't comprehend how someone would think that reversing a song that's existed since the 18th century was somehow the key to unlocking hidden lore.

Probably just a coincidence, I heard it was stock audio, unless Scott made his own police radio and put it over the static, cause it does sound like that.. who knows

For some reason someone thought some fangame was canon? I remember them thinking like- some fangame I don’t remember was canon and used Five Nights at Candy’s to back that up.
Also I don’t remember when this theory was made, but there was a theory saying fnaf took place in Australia because phone guy said “welcome to your summer job” despite it being in November or something.

Awww man, some of these theories take me back. The mangle 911 theory is one that sounds like it makes sense but can be debunked as false with other explanations. Maybe mangle's voice box is damaged, maybe her voice box managed to find the police radio frequency, or it could just be that scott added it in as part of her character or as a gameplay mechanic where she makes it hard to hear movement. I dont know, im gonna try and theorize anymore than that
