Awesome video, Dave...BWI was, and still is, a very busy airport.
They look small and like a toy (to me) when you zoom in...Love watching planes... Hugz for sharing
Great video, thank you, thumps up
Have a happy day
The SouWest Hub for BWI, they sure have a mass amount of aircraft, I love the last one with Arizona State Flag like emblem on the nose-to-midway of fuselage. Superb video! :o) Have a great Solar Eclipse Day, I will remain indoors, seen one of these back in the 70's, so seen one seen enough, LOL :o)

สวัสดีค่ะ
You're attempt at recording video was exemplary, however, here are a couple hints for future airport plane spotting ventures. Yes you can shoot through a chain link fence, but your camera's lens has to physically be at the fence's fabric surface. A secondary approach, will require you to have the your head, and the camera's lens at a point, where the both of you are above the top strand of the barbed or razor wire. Of course this presents another issue, of having a taller platform, such as the bed of a pickup truck, and or a step ladder tall enough to raise you higher than the fence height.
thanks, i'll refrain from making a smart alack response about already knowing all of that, in case you are sincere. in which case, i'll just let you know that there is no way around any of these obstacles and this is the only viewing area at this airport.
Okay, but the suggestion was genuine, what else can one due?
ok, cool, thanks! normally, the planes land across this field, but due to the odd weather, they were taking off in that direction, in which they left the runway out of the sight line. as it was, i walked up to the highest point possible, up near the road, and still couldn't get a decent view. i tried my camera's manual focus, and that only works for photos, not videos. so there wasnt much i could do. i wont be filming take-offs from there anymore, only landings ;-)
