So Brian Clough said Peter Shilton was the difference between a 1-0 defeat and a 1-0 victory. Surely he'd be the difference between a 1-0 defeat and a 0-0 draw, unless Shilts was banging in goals at the other end, which I don't recall him ever doing.
Thanks links .. for a great inside to what is a very secretive society of the football agent .. sounds like back in the old days / the best days ..that a transfer could be sorted over a fish supper at 11pm on a Friday night . Where now is done over how much the greedy agent can get from club ..or even a country can pay you .. bring back the Clough days ..now then young man .. what can I do for u ... Not what u can do for me ...

The owners build a stadium yet the medical back up is poor, Does any stadium have x ray MRI or a mini medical emergency theatre or a top surgeon doctor on call on match day.....I doubt it,,

funny how footballers started usng agents really, not as if the local shop or warehouse staff get an agent is it? Whilst i understand they used to be thick and incapable of knowing thier own worth and negotiating , agents were and kinda remain a cancer in the game :) interesting and amusing guy nevertheless
