I have cervical stenosis and a couple bulging discs and here and there I will have neck pain and so I try to prevent having bad days with pain by how I sleep. Pillows that are too high absolutely ruin my neck the next day, and so I stick to very low pillows that are more cushion-y and fluffy vs a harder foam pillow. So I have the other neck pillow from this same brand that looks exactly like this pillow except instead of foam it is like a cotton filling or some type of soft fluff which was heaven sent for me! Unfortunately, it had a small tear in it and it’s turned larger and my dog is able to pull fluff out of the hole every other day and so that pillow is done for, so when I had the opportunity to try this pillow which is the same-just a foam filling instead of fluff- I crossed my fingers and ordered it not really expecting to love it honestly. I cannot tell you how impressed and pleasantly surprised I’ve been with this pillow!!!!! Surprisingly, the foam feels soft and not too firm which is a preference of mine so I was happy about that! Its also built the same height as the previous pillow I had with the fluff filling-meaning it’s not too high at all for my neck which is essential for me. The pillow can be used about 3 different ways..there is a v shape crevice and you can have your neck rest in that crevice from any direction or you can turn the pillow and feel that your neck is just being softly cradled from all sides-but very subtly. Its great! I never wake up with neck pain now that I use this daily. It is great and you will realize how bad you slept before once you try one of these arch 4 life pillows I swear! I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!! Price is pricey but worth it. If I could afford more I’d get way more of these for extras and for everyone in my home. Try it!!! Oh! You can also unzip the pillow and take out foam filling or insert more if you want. I don’t mess with what’s already perfect though but it’s nice to have the option I guess.
