I can't even imagine trying to sing & breath while dancing for every song. It is bound to happen that members miss hitting a few notes. I never even flinch when I hear one because they are doing what I would certainly never be able too in my life!

Oh~, Our Jimin’s crystal clear high note of his head voice is so beautiful! Whenever he has those unstable voice on stage, specially during the beginning of the song, I would always wish that Jimin would have those 2-3 years of vocal training period that rest of the BTS members had! Because he was joined as trainee for less then a year for his amazing dance skill & chosen to be BTS debuted member as last minutes, his first ever vocal training was with BTS’s debut song just 2 months before their actual debut date. Even with his lack of proper vocal training, all those crazy hectic schedules after their debut & with his disadvantaged medical condition “tonsillar hypertrophy(enlarged tonsils)”, he has worked so hard to improve & learned to consistently stabilize his vocal while enduring all the criticisms & hate comments about few of his vocal mistakes.
Sometimes I really want to imagine what our Jimin’s singing voices & vocal skills would be like if he has received those 2-3 years of proper vocal training, like other BTS members! But then I realized I like his voice just the way they are, his extra ordinarily unique vocal color, his crystal clear high note, his unusual voice tones that somewhere between boys & man, his smooth breathy sexy & expressive middle tones, the way he sometimes used his unique vocal frying technique to heighten the sexiness of the song, the unique way he ended his notes so beautifully & most of all his emotional vulnerabilities that we instinctively feel from his voice!Jimin’s vocal is so crystal clear & beautifully unique that you will notice his voice right away from all the instruments sounds & all the different singer’s vocal sounds but his voice would still harmonizing so wonderfully with abilities to add the unique color & character to the song. But still as a fan who loves Our Jimin so much, I couldn’t help myself to wish that he didn’t have to face all those criticisms & hateful comments about his vocal consistency!

Jin and Japanese songs are a match made in Heaven. Jin in Crystal Snow kills those high notes and I love this song. It's one of my all time favorites.

There are some BTS songs that make me emo on a whole new level because of their real life context, and Let Go is the prime example for that. It's already sad and beautiful, but when you consider that it's from the beginning of 2018, the same time where they were seriously considering disbandment, it hits differently. "From stereo to mono, our paths seperate [...] I'm ready to let go." It was them saying Goodbye to us. I can't listen to this song in public because there's a 90% chance that I will cry.
There's just something about their Japanese songs that brings out Seokjin's silver voice, it's insane how good he sounds in Let Go. It was recently announced that BTS will publish a new Japanese song, a soundtrack for a TV show, in April which will also be included in a Japanese album that'll be released in August, and the whole timeline went absolutely nuts at the thought of Jin slaying those vocals^^

I personally didn’t think jin was having problem with that note cuz he reached the note and sounded same as the recording, he also bends down most of the times when he is hitting a high note which is a little controversial with some people because they think you should not bend down while hitting a high note but many vocal coaches do suggest bending down. Different things work for different people I guess.
Rose I’m sorry I should’ve clarified myself. What I meant about the struggle is on that second “haru,” he didn’t hold it long enough and the end of the note, I can hear an abrupt cut off due to loss of breath. It wasn’t as smooth as that first “haru.” It’s being picky I know but just for the purpose of dissecting the performance, I pointed it out hah. He definitely hit the notes correctly but that abrupt cut off signalled a bit of struggle. Not a big deal for sure. And i agree! For high notes, bending down helps 😊

I read somewhere that they wrote the song "Let Go" when they were thinking of disbandment in 2018 and that makes me even sadder listening to this.
Those are assumptions by fans only but there is no like confirmation or smth so always with that in mind.

All of them is good in live performance but I would like to say that I love Jimin crystal clear emotional voice😢 even though sometimes his live is not very stable but Jimin voice is loved 😂 and jimin sometimes not satisfied with his voice...the past few years, jk said that jimin always cry after the live performance...😢 because he learn dance but not sing, so is difficult for him

For the lotte concert they had about 5 songs lined up performance on top of performance with only water breaks ( few seconds) so It’s understandable that they looked exhausted and may feel a bit exhausted 🥺 they’re still just so amazing 👏🏻

I really like JHope's rap voice. Idk if I am right but he always sounds like he is on autotune but he is not, it sounds unreal but it's real and unique. As what you've said, he sounded like he was in recording. I love his part esp. in Make It Right. Anddd this is one of their best performances. Also, Let Go really is a sad and emotional song. And yes, Jin always slays Japanese songs like Don't Leave Me.

Jeff, that performance of "Let Go" is so beautiful, how gorgeous did they all look and their vocals, JK's vocals are always flawless, Jimin can have a wobble now and then and Jin (often doesn't get mentioned enough) is also always strong/solid and has a lovely rich tone. Tae, well, he's so distinct, our "dark roast" vocal. The Maknae Line dancing/centre together, so hot, we definitely need more of that. Stay safe.

I think they were all exhausted in Let Go. I also think Jimin's in ear might have been part of the problem. He recovered so quickly that I think that might have been it. And he has mentioned before that he is working on his stamina.
Jin absolutely SHINES in their Japanese songs, in large part because they actually give him more lines. His Japanese is evidently very good, so he gets a bigger role in Japanese songs.

Wow. I love these two songs so much. "Let Go" is so sensual and emotional. I love the full choreography of "Best of me". I highly recommend listening to "Lights", it seems this is a song from a Japanese album. I especially like Jin's party there. and "Heartbeat", the song is so beautiful and touching.

Jeff........A few years ago (2018?) BTS was having hard times emotionally. They were breaking. They had discussed disbanding. "Let Go" was their love song to the fans, telling Army's that it was beautiful but they had to let go. It is a very emotional song for the fans as well as BTS.

I’ve noticed jimin struggling a lot live with tones or not being able to hold the notes as long... I can’t imagine how hard that is on their voices and how much energy that takes and makes me sad for him bc I know how hard he is on himself. I feel like he has been singing in a tone that is higher than his natural tone... and forcing that cry in his voice and hope he hasn’t damaged his vocal chords. Was chatting with my friend who is a vocal coach and he said it could possibly be why it’s been harder for him... but I mean he ages like any normal humans ... so it could be that or maybe he was sick ... but yeh I have noticed that more often in more recent stuff . I know he has a beautiful voice and he is still a better singer and can do such amazing performances that make you want to cry... but forcing a cry into your voice can damage your vocal chords forever... I just hope it was just him being tired and stuff. He’s got something so special and I worry when any of them have little mistakes bc they’re so hard on themselves especially now .they’re all so special IMO... I love these dudes man

Yesh this song is emotional and as u can remember in jimin's part "I'm gonna let u know, that i need let go, hard to say goodbye, im gonna run, I'm ready to let go" ad it's like something describing the person u love but u need to LET GO but for u it's also HARD TO LET GO and please read the English subtitles so u can understand the meaning of the song and the title, and yeah (omg i cried whule typing this comment)
