In this video I give a detailed explanation step by step to install this port injection kit I purchased through Burger Tuning with Phoenix Intake manifold and 750cc injectors as well as Jb4 controller.
Also don't forget to load a port e85 backend flash.

Best f**** tutorial on CZcams for BMS phoenix port injection and jb4 wiring. Love it! Thanks man
Awesome Thank you!
This is the first video on the entire internet of how to do this process and with explained steps and components. I did this 2 months ago and had zero instructions and had zero youtube videos to go by.. i was gonna do a video similar to this but didn't. Cudos to you for doing this. I'm sure tons of people will benefit from this video alone. Thanks for posting the video. It's great content. Wish you did it 3 months ago. Lol 😜
Thanks bud!!! I appreciate it.
Thank's from France, BMS explications really not clear for wiring, you saved my day
Glad to hear that!
I really enjoy your videos🔥
I wish it was more longer thant 15 min like 45 min i really enjoy your videos
nice video, thanks
Vid is great, keep it coming.. your folowers, as you can see, are enjoying your work so please get some kind of camera pod and free your hands so you can make detail vids, it will greatly benefit you and vids will be better.. thank you for your great content, yout 335i is one of the best outhere..
Thank you so much. I'll keep that in mind.
Would like to see the test run as well.
What length bolt did you use the oem one us to long? I used a spacer and forgot i did but want to use correct bolt length and dont have original intake as a reference.
I didn’t like how the npt fitting for the bov pointed down so I put an elbow on mine
Thanks for the video!! Question: for the jb4 menu 8 that you mentioned. What should the setting be if it’s manual transmission? Thanks in advance!!
0 too I think
i would like to do this but use a stand alone small fuel cell and pump, with maybe 100 octane leaded race fuel? run by a reflex, maybe on a switch only when needed , see any issues with a system like this? would also lighten the lode on the lpfp. also with a return back to the tank. cheers any input would be great.
Sounds interesting. I know the leaded race fuel can damage the 02 sensors after a while...Also race fuel is soooo expensive compared to 110 octane E85
Thanks for the video. I plan to install PI manifold along with upgrading new twin turbos. Does the Phoenix port injection and the ethanol sensor come with instructions. You video is very helpful if not come with instruction. Do you run 100% E85 now or 50% mix? Thanks
No instructions included but I believe you can find them online through the company website. I've been running 100% e85.
Hey I had a question if anyone can help. I got a new throttle body gasket but it seems way too tall to actually install and seal. I stripped out one of the bolt holes trying to tighten it on… anyone have some insight
Hey man thanks for a great video! I just had 1 question I couldn't quit get where the red wire splices into green connector?
Any help thanks🙏
The green connector is in the frontside of the dme box looking at it from the passenger side (right side) its the only green connector with one pretty thick green wire. Its the switched 12v power wire.
@@335iN54Enthusiast do I take the orange wire out, put the red one from jb4 pi controller, and plug orange into the red jb4 wire?? Does it matter witch orange wire?
Thanks!!!
Does the o-rings on the Manifold sit nicely? I’d hate if they fall off while trying to install the manifold to the head
Perfect fit.
Being in Ontario without E85, what would you say the safest boost level i could run would be using a twin scroll 6266 on 91 octane?
Not sure ask your tuner. I hav no problem getting e85 in ontario...
U don’t have 93?
Are you running a standalone ECU? I looked at some online threads and saw how the factory Dual Injection can randomly cut, causing the engine to lean out while the Port Injection system is still spraying fuel, and then BOOM! Blown engine. This problem is easily solvable with a standalone ECU and a proper tune. Not sure how the JB4 tuner works, I might be entirely wrong.
No I am not. Thats false information.
how do i do the red wire from the jb4 pi controller? confused how it goes into the green connector. i know you say i can use either orange wire..?
Tap into it.
@@335iN54Enthusiast “tap into it” the same side as the orange wire? Or the other side where the orange wire is connecting into it?
So the Red and orange wire touch together by pressing the green connectors together?
Or tapping into it where the red wire and orange wire is on that exact side. So it connects to green pin along side the Orange wire?
Showed exactly how every wire worked but the red power wire that goes to the connector. That’s the one wire I don’t understand how it works. Any help?!? Much appreciated for the video tho!
The red wire is the easiest to install. If you're having trouble leave it for a professional to install
Didn’t want to go with a sandwich plate? Either way, should work fine as long as you’ve got a proper lpfp.
How do you like the coil set up? They have a rep for a flimsy wiring harness and coils that don’t seat properly.
The coils are amazing. Never have an issue with them.
Nice wen you on port injection you have to use e85 Or normal gas 91?
Use whatever you want.,.e60...full e85.. depends
Ok Thanks
I know this video is one year old.., question, is your 335 still running...??? The reason I wander is because I have a friend that had that had the Fuel It system install in his car and he blew it two weeks after. So my question is to figure which one is better, JB4, or Fuel It..,? Thanks in advance.
Running 100% perfect
@@335iN54Enthusiast well.., those are definitely awesome news..!!! I'm planning to go port injection soon and I think you already helped me made up my mind. Thanks for replying so quickly. You just earned another subscriber..😉👊🏽
Thanks bud!
Do this make it a dual injection system or swap to pi
Dual injection
How many hp did you gain with port injection does it deserve or not
Port injection is needed to run high boost pressures on the N54 with E85 fuel.
Bro I’m so confused is your bms controller just wires on the end or does it have pins?
Both. Check their install manual for details.
@@335iN54Enthusiast so my white wire doesn’t have a pin on the end do I just stick it in the hole idk I’m confused
@@335iN54Enthusiast agree with above poster. May have bought a bad one but py the yellow wire has a pin on mine..
Does this mean it is now a dual injection system
Yes. 2 injectors per cylinder.
Im interest in this set up what was the horsepower gain?
Perhaps you should watch the latest dyno vid? 745whp.
So do we loose 2 step when installing?
Yes I believe so unless you have a manual trans.
did you say doc vu tuning?
Yes
Pretty much a Chinese manifold but quality inspected .
Made in the USA bud.
