I fucking love Mega Man. The gameplay is literally like a drug. The harder it is, the more satisfying it is when you complete it. I played through all six Mega Man games on the NES using cheat codes. I breezed through them, but I barely had any fun. So I decided to start all over again without cheat codes., and I must say, that was MUCH better.
Same here. When the Mega Man legacy collection came out; the first time I breezed through all the games using the rewind feature, now I'm playing through them on my actual NES now that I have all six cartridges lol

@@Janex-06 Man, Yellow Devil may only have one attack, but when that attack can hit you several times, does a lotta damage, and is a pain to dodge (unless you’re a master at memorization or reflexes), it’s pretty devastating.

This is very good! When I play this game, I prefer to use the Thunder Beam against the Mega Man clone. I also use it for the entire Wily fight. I also choose to do Bombman before Gutsman.

Wait, oh dang, the 3rd wily stage boss, it's health bar & projectiles changed color each time one of the 7 is destroyed, it matches the color of the eye on the particular CWU-01P you're fighting. That's a cool detail.

Actually the first order makes more sense, not just because the boss weaknesses, but also for that blue item on Elecman's stage, where you need Guts Arm.
I played MegaMan 1 myself and I've gotta say, even with rewind, beating the game hitless isn't an easy feat.

Why did the screenshot show Megaman with red eyes? I thought that was the Megaman clone, and I never noticed that, and then when I came to look at it, his clone still had black eyes. That clone was the hardest boss to me when I played Legacy Collection, but when I played Anniversary Collection, Dr. Wily was the hardest boss. That's kind of strange.
I think it was him showing mega man on a rampage and he has red eyes because he no hit all bosses
The art for the Clone Mega Man had red eyes. Just not in game due to palette limitations most likely.
I never heard of Megaman until the second one came out, and even by then the first one was almost impossible to find. It was my white whale. Don't think I wound up with it until after the third or fourth game came out.

Gutsman, hes the easiest boss in mega man.
Cutman, cuz he dies in 2 hits of super arm.
Elecman, 4 the magnet beam (op af) and so u can kill elecman with 3 hits of the rolling cutter
Iceman, so u could kill him in 3 hits of E
Fireman, cuz u got ice slasher
And bombman, cuz of Fire whateveridk
I just grinded the entire megaman legacy collection, and although I lost 30% of my sanity, it was worth it.
