I'm pretty conflicted about this: on one hand anything Atlus related gets my approval but I can't make up my mind about this. P4G wasn't ported to consoles (I know that a lot of people think that there's a deal between Sony and Atlus regarding Persona, although it was never actually confirmed anywhere, but if that was the case why isn't P4G on ps4 or ps5?). Why isn't this coming to Xbox considering that the original was on the 360? What does this mean for the rumoured Persona 5 Arena? This game involves characters from Persona 3 a game which you can only legally play on Ps2 and Ps vita but a port is nowhere to be found. In the livestream Teddie literally said that if you haven't played Persona 4 you should go and get P4G on Steam, at this point I'm losing every hope for a port to modern consoles and that's ridiculous: considering Sega's financial issues it's unbelievable that they are actually sleeping on a gold mine. I've already played every Persona game and I still own a Ps vita but it's beyond my understanding why they are treating their masterpieces like this: everyone should be able to play them everywhere. Overall it's just Atlus being Atlus, we are probably gonna get the dancing games next year. At least this announcement was better than the first one (not a difficult task if you ask me).
This Is Going To Be A Reach But I Feel Like Atlus Is Trying To Use The Events In Order To Slowly Announce Them Ports During The 2 Years Of The 25th Anniversary 👀💦💦
@@XDeadlyViperX That's not a reach tbh that's right on the money given how Atlus has apparently been funneling devs in and out of multiple studios of theirs to help Team Maniax develop SMTV. With throwing devs across the field like that I'd honestly assume that Atlus would be left doing ports people have asked for over the years recently for Persona's 25th anniversary. In terms of new games expect the fabled 7th announcement to finally just be an P6 teaser. If the logo artwork for the anniversary with all the protags on it indicates anything at least.
I turned my PC version of Golden into a console version (kinda lol). All you gotta do it hook up an HDMI cable into the TV from your laptop/computer and you're good 👍🏼

Also Persona 4 Golden translated in other languages than english, french for example, so that my mother can play it ! Also P5R on steam, but every one already goes on and on about that.

I mean if I feel extra motivated I could like do a non-official translation patch for the game, that's an option too, only a few hundred hours of work.
hopefully this doesn't set a precedent for the following announcments... If they announce any more ports, I hope they will come all at once or else the remaining announcements will be announcing individual ports.

This is actually much better than golden on consoles, porting more of their games to other platforms is always a good step. Golden on consoles should be a secondary announcement alongside something like royal to pc.
