      Would change out the skar subs , to 2 SUNDOWN 10”s , run it at 2000 watt rms @ 1ohm 😅 , at least it’s what I bought, I hope 🤞 it sounds good 👍 can you help me? Information

    wtf its like youve been reading my mind. I was either going a audiocontrol amp or a lc2 with a different amp... I wasnt sure if that was overkill for the signal. I do think Im just sticking with the tesla box from skar for 1 10" though. Chances are I'll be going big later just cause.

      How do you like the single 10"? Which amp did you use?

    Did you figure out the issue with error codes you were getting? Did you end up having to run a second battery with a isolator relay?

    • @BaggedDev
      @BaggedDev  Před 10 měsíci +1

      Just a relay to isolate the bass amplifier. I have a video for building the amp rack and it shows exactly what I used and how I wired it up

      @@BaggedDev I just found your other videos. I got both of the items in my cart on Amazon. How exactly is the resistor connected. The relay I understand how to connect that but I'm slightly confused on where the resistor is placed and wired, can you recap how it's down?

    • @BaggedDev
      @BaggedDev  Před 10 měsíci

      @@shiznilti7477 the resistor connects to both sides of the relay. The resistor let’s a little power pass by the relay while it’s off so it slowly charges the capacitors in the amp before the big relay kicks on.
      To recap, the big wire coming from the DC-DC converter, run that to the relay post on the right, you’ll also attach one side of the resistor to this relay terminal also. The connect the other side of the resistor to the big output of the relay, you’ll also run the rest of the big wire from there, into the amp.

      They also say to break engines in, yet dragsters rebuild their engines and then go wide open throttle at 11 thousand horsepower. Haha. I've been in car audio for 10 years, I appreciate looking out for the subs and me! I'm sure they gonna be fine, this isn't my first setup and I've never had issues. Im not playing it at full tilt every time they're on. A quick test or playing with them isn't gonna kill them. The coils don't have enough time to over heat with how little I play it, and it's distortion free and also detuned from the headunits EQ!

    Where did you pull the power for the LC2? Did you just bridge it off amp 12v input? Ive got a 2023 3 base model and Im going to run power off the battery (Im reading it will help with code issues) but I don't want to tap a second line unless I have to.

    • @BaggedDev
      @BaggedDev  Před 3 měsíci +1

      I would suggest not running anything off the battery. Any draw off the battery can trip the battery management system and throw faults. I ran over 200amp of current draw directly off the DC-DC converter without issues. The LC2i pro has built in turn on when your signal source (I used the drivers door woofer) turns on, and that signal turns on the LC2i pro. Main power and ground for the LC2i I just pulled from the amplifier. If you watch both parts of these videos, everything should be explained and if you follow exactly how I did everything, you’ll be problem free. If you do it your own way and run into problems, my only help is to undo the way you did it, and do it the way I did in the video. Haha

      @@BaggedDev Thanks! for some reason when I looked at the channel I didnt see a second vid. Its here, I was just being dumb. its strange because breakers suggests to run it off the battery side for the 2023 do to the 16v system? Its getting a bit muddy on info, I'll take another look at both.
