  • My name is Curtis Haaland! I am 22 years old and I make knives. Most of the knives I make are Every-Day-Carries, Hunters, Camp Knives, and Fighters. I use Mono-steels, Stainless San Mai, and Damascus to make my blades. This video gives you a decent look at my procedure when forging an integral from 3/4" W1 Drill Rod.
Please hit the subscribe button for future videos and let me know if you have any questions and ill do my best to answer. Thanks for watching!

if you wouldn't have said on IG this was your first video I wouldn't be able to tell it was so well done. The pacing, lighting, instructions, and so on. I can always appreciate a good integral forged bolster on a knife, etc... Your classic predator shape too, I subbed and hit the notification bell button so I look forward to seeing the rest in this series as you finish this knife up. Whenever I finally get my forge area set up and running I will eventually try that after some hammering practice, etc... then later on make a survival knife with a double integral including a pommel for cracking walnuts, windshields, skulls??? whatever needs it. lol ... but that will be a long time from now. Thanks for sharing this video Curtis, great job on your first CZcams video.
