Try The Chesterfield Brand, I have recently discovered the brand, and the quality is outstanding. They also have ve you a two year guarantee on their bags due to the high quality. Yes, they're not super fancy and more edgy/down to earth, but personally I love them. You don't pay for the name of the brand but the quality.

Me, too, I’ve never been a big fan of the Chanel flap bags, and they have been done to death recently. If I could afford it, I’d probably get a Bottega Venetta bag, their styles are not stale.
@@kimberlyperrotis8962 i do love the classic flap bag but not gonna lie I cant afford that price however i have bag similar to it from Kate Spade and it does make me very happy, don’t feel sad that I don’t have The Chanel bag.
And even if could buy the Chanel I wouldn’t because the current price is not worth it. If I’d buy high end even if some people say it’s going out of fashion I’d get the Gucci Marmont. It’s still luxurious but not the crazy price range of Chanel.

This was a very good round up! Thank you. I agree with your "big occasion" evening clutch comment, get one or two in classic lines and colors, and they'll be with you for years. I have a gold minaudiere with colorful (but understated) "jewels", a black satin clutch, a silver metal box-shaped one, and a tone-on tone-gold one. These four have been in my closet for about 30 years, and there isn't a gown that doesn't go with at least one of them.

I only need 3 small handbags. I have a brown Coach bag for casual and semicasual brown outfits, a plain rectangular black no-name suede clutch for everything from formal to casual, and a black Coach bag for casual and semicasual. I don't carry much now that the kids are grown up. If my phone and keys fit, I know I can fit a compact, lipstick, driver's license, and credit cards. If I have to carry any medication, I put the pills in a little plastic baggie made for small items. I recently expanded my bag wardrobe to a no-name silver-lace clutch for weddings and a silver real leather clutch that I found on sale on Amazon for $9 with free Prime shipping. Gotta love those sales.
Just to add, I live in the country, so the super-stylish cosmopolitan bags you show don't really fit in here, but I can still drool!
This gives me a better appreciation for bags already in my wardrobe. Since I live in an area that is extremely casual, classic styles work well here. Thanks for your channel.

I don’t have a weekend bags since I normally just take my suitcase. I also don’t have a pop of color, but may add one in the future! Since my bags are so practical and neutral, a pop of color would be nice to have. This video is spot on!
I have the white suitcase with the tan leather accents shown toward the end of the video, and I receive so many compliments on it when I travel. It looks so chic!

I live on a west coast island in Canada. I’ve been struggling because the style here is sooooo casual. I never used to dress casual so I feel lost. Could you please do a video on how to dress casual without looking sloppy but without looking too dressy. I haven’t found that balance yet

I just bought a Longchamp pliage in XL for my weekend trips. It's lovely but it can get heavy quickly so I would advise against this kind of bag if there's walking to do. If you are by car it's very good but in the airport you might regret it (I know there are trolleys for luggage but sometimes they are tucked away in weird places).

Since I always wear silver jewelry, should I make sure the hardware on my bags is also silver colored? It's sometimes hard to find and I wonder if it's a nono to have gold hardware?
Same here! Fashion rules aside I just can’t stand gold hardware on my handbags and it makes shopping extra challenging!
I always ask customer service what colour the hardware is, since I got a pair of boots with gold which seemed silver in the images.
@@k.l.johannsen9579 Try Rub n Buff metallic waxes. It comes in several variations of gold and silver plus copper. People use it on everything from sink faucets to leather shoes to the hardware on their purses. I'm pretty impressed. Change your hardware color with it. It isn't permanent because it's a wax, not paint, but it looks good.

What's the "rule" now about matching your bag to your shoes (e.g. black bag MUST be paired with black shoes, etc.), because in 1:02 her shoes and bag don't match? Or people just don't do that anymore?
I haven't been well-dressed my whole life, though I never look like a hot mess either, but I suppose now I should start trying to look more put together.
It's not necessary anymore to match your bag, shoes & belts. Just don't go overboard.

Yes, matching the shoes, purse, and belt used to be necessary, but that all loosened up about 20 years ago, thank goodness. Too matching looks boring, predictable.

But your new one is very hard to follow since every 2 to 3 Minutes it has been interrupted by nearly the same H&M Advert. Everyone starts with black black black there are a lot of us that are warm undertone and cannot wear black in any form please include other colors for warm undertone people. Just put them in as options for warm undertones
Camel is a gorgeous & rich warm neutral that I adore. Sadly, I'm cool toned but I would replace that for black in a heartbeat if I could.
