Thank you for this video!! #7 didn't work for me but I got a few that Im installing now ty
You're welcome!! That's weird, #7 worked for me. Do you have a free FxFactory account?
If Final Cut doesn't rush to release a massive update, this will be complicated. Capcut is giving it an epic beating
We're all waiting on a big update! 🤞🏼
Thanks so much!
You're welcome!

You're welcome! Thanks for watching 😄💪🏼
THANKS!!
You're welcome!
Thank you very much and well done …
My pleasure!
I got it! You PLUGGED your own PLUG IN :D
You get it! 😄👊🏼
Hey Brad, how can I categorize transitions into "folders"? I downloaded Whip Pans and Zoom and they are in the same Brad West tab, but they are separated within. This is great and I would like to know how to do this so that I can better organize my assets!
Thank you!
I did this by creating categories in Motion. You would need to open each of your effects (assuming they were created in Motion) and assign categories there. That could be quite a pain to do, but I hope that helps!
Wow, thanks for the video! 9&10 next, got couple others alredy 💪🏽
Awesome! Good choices. Appreciate you watching 😄💪🏼
Thank you brother
You're welcome!
Amazing list thank you!!
Glad you liked it 😄🤙🏼
Thank you
You're welcome!
any recommendations for a plugin that allows for audio timecode in final instead of using external software like tentacle sync studio?
I don't know of any plugins with the same functionality as Tentacle Sync Studio, but if you are trying to sync multiple cameras with timecode, you can do that using FCP's multicam feature.
Nice 👍🏿
Thank you!
Thanks for this man!!! Making me love FCPX more and more!
Glad to hear it!
You know what else is free? Subscribing to Brad for more amazing videos like this one! Doooooo it!
Look at this guy!! Giving out free plugins AAAAND free advice 😂🤙🏼
Great content! Thank you so much 🤝
Glad you liked it!
i liked no 6 and 10,
Great choices!
Hey man can you break down jeff nippard (fitness guy) video like which plugins he uses in his video i am trying to find it but couldn't thanks
Hey Jatin. I think he does a lot of custom motion graphics stuff. That being said, you could probably recreate it with some design skills to create the overlays and then use basic movements or something like AddMotion to animate the elements on screen.
@@Brad_West Thanks, man I have one more question I want to buy mac book air but I am confused which one to buy M1 or M2 for video editing also can we store and edit FCP library directly to an external SSD without having much space in inter SSD (256gb) ?
@@Trainedbyjatin Any of the M1 chips will be good for editing. I would recommend having more internal hard drive space though, or working off an external SSD. 256GB will get eaten up quickly, especially since your apps and MacOS will be taking some of that space.
If your budget is tight I would recommend going for the M1 and using the money you save to get a bigger internal SSD or an external SSD. 💪🏼
@@Brad_West thankyou so much Brad so I will buy 256gb (internal) and 1 TB external SSD🙏🫡
how did you make the
Those arrows come from the MotionVFX mKBHD pack: bit.ly/mKBHD-BD
UN free plugin to make the text Bed effect in Final Cut Pro X ? Thank you❤
What is the text bed effect?
@@Brad_WestText behind the subject
Cant get to download any of the plugins :( Any advice?
You should be able to download them all. Each site will have download/installation instructions.
Hi, how to update fcpx to fcpx10
FCPX is FCP 10. You can update in the App Store.
Sorry, Brad... Number 7 (Automatitles for free) has been disabled. Not available anymore! Shame!
All the best!
That’s odd. It still shows up as a free plugin on my side.
Hey Final Cut Pro users I’m having a problem where I can’t share/export my videos I get no error message but I click any option to export it does nothing everything else works inside but still can’t export , I deleted preferences, reinstalled Final Cut Pro… I’m stuck
That’s a weird one! Are you using the trial version by any chance?
@@Brad_West no but I updated to Sonoma iOS also before that happen I got a message saying my library was damaged out of the blue idk if that’s linked together
The damaged library may have something to do with it. I would open a brand new library, drop a clip on the timeline and test the export to see if it works. If it does, you know it’s a library issue, if it doesn’t, you know it’s a bigger Final Cut Pro issue.
If the export does work, export an XML of your timeline from the original project, and then import that into the new project to see if you can export your edit that way. Good luck!
New apps like free Capcut, free Davinci, and few more , and suddenly old large 5 Gb FCPX depending on plugins became obsolete for new users, that's how it is.
FCP still has so much power for new users. Not denying that there are other options, but FCP is still a super capable, fast NLE.
#10 didn't work for me its to slow
But you can adjust the speed in the parameters. You can also create a compound clip and speed it up to make it faster if you need to.
Honestly, a waste of my time. The free versions are so basic. I was better off watching a quick tutorial on how to achieve these effects manually within Final Cut. The main purpose is to get you to upgrade and get the paid version of their effects. I respect it but truly wasted my time downloading and installing for below average results.
A lot of these free plugins don’t even have paid upgrades. They’re just useful free tools.
Mlut is a great plugin. I always consider it as a final touch.
Yeah it would be great to add to an adjustment layer across your whole edit to add finishing touches.
