about 15 years ago, i went in 65 days, from 50 bucks Fiat uno to e34 m5 .. tho i tended to swap for cars that needs fixing and did fix them before butting them out again. But it is as stressful as fuck to have your money on them and buying parts and hope thats all you need.
As an memory tho , it's nice to have .. how with hard work and talking skills you can make 150-200ish times the original buy in back… without screwing anyone over.

Its happening to me all the time when i post a car for sale but only if i do so on Gumtree. Every single time
@Blaze Temp yes but that won't stop scammers from calling. And they are literally on it 2 minutes after the ad is live. So you will want to pick up in case you have a potential customer on the line. I get what you are saying but the scammers stop calling 1-2 days from when the ad goes live so in the long run they don't keep your number saved and one you sold whatever it is your number disappears from the website anyway. Its just that Gumtree for some reason doesn't have any protection against scammers like autotrader has.

I've always wanted to do this but a limit on how many cars you can sell in a year without registering as a car dealer.
@@nickds7 5 cars per year in my state so i try to make 1000 profit minumum on each car i buy to flip. last one i made 1100 and this car i have now i should make 1200-1500

I'm currently on car 3 doing this and each time doubling or tripling my cash. Started with a rover streetwise £150 dented wing, popped it back out and put some missing trim on, drove it 2 weeks and sold for £650. Bought a saab for £400, swapped the headunit & wheels out and sold them for £400, sold the car for £600. Now I'm at Renault Megane and will see how I go with that. Trick is get a car with a long MOT

These low budget car videos are absolutely astonishing and remind me a lot of the old top gear in some way, not unlike some of your latest uploads. With the grand tour only going road trip I see a lot of potential in revisiting some of the most iconic cheap car challenges we all ( or at least I do) miss from the golden days TG. Love this idea and something that I want to give a go at! It's kinda sad the amount of time and effort that has to go into just making a few bucks back.
Honestly, especially with the eviction crisis, flipping a cheap car might be the way some people spend their free time as a recently-unemployable to make _some_ money, as opposed to _none._ Plus that with a bit more time, it could lead to someone living in a minivan, as opposed to someone living on the streets. #vanlife #carlife #tinyhouse #tentlife are relevant terms, for those interested.

As a counter however, petrol is dirt cheap in the USA, so in the long run it's not that different I imagine.
