Amazing find. Never heard of trench art.
The wooden fish is a piece of Christian religious art as it says 'Ichthys' on it (New Testament Greek for 'fish') one of the symbols of Jesus Christ, very big in the Greek and Catholic Church.

Cool rooster! It is missing it's comb and waddles because it is a fighting rooster and they "dub" the comb and waddle to prevent the opponent from grabbing it.

Royal Albert is highly collectible.
Years ago bought 2 little cat figurine and promptly dropped one and broke its little leg off. My husband immediately exclaimed "those things made it all the way thru WW 2....u get them and break its leg!"
Too funny.
I did something similar with the lid of a Mosser glass jar. I was devastated! To think, it made it all this way AND survived a second hand shop just so I could be the one to break it. 🤪

My husband ruined a table from my great grandmother I was working on to do some light refinish. Had blanket on it, husband put a cooler that leaked on it. Turned it into a complete strip, bleaching out stains, losing 100 year old patina... idiot.
That was me who said they are a very good brand of shoe, was in a shop today that sold them and they cost £60 to buy. Great video.x

I'm thinking the lid that was with the blue glass creamer actually goes to the sugar bowl that would have been with the set originally. Creamers don't usually have lids. Pretty glass though and I enjoyed the video. Thanks!

That mug was way too cute. I would have bought it for a real good laugh at times.
The thing with the handle is an old maybe German Coffee grinder. I would go back and look it up. I noticed it was dove tailed. I think mine sold for around $60.00

What a wonderful finds. It is a shame that fine china sets are not treasured like they were in the past, these days people cook with microwave and easy cookers and use dishwashers and paper plates. Really like watching you.

I still can’t decide if the bird is a pheasant or a chicken 🤔 it’s poised exactly like a rooster we had that attacked me every time he saw me! Those spurs hurt when they get you in the back !
I’m from Oregon originally and I’m very partial to myrtle wood. It grows only in southern oregon near the coast and into California.

Oh, I wish you would have picked up that Boston terrier mug!! My daughter had one and she was a silent farter, so that would have been perfect for her. I guess we can only look fondly at farts when they come from a beloved pet!!! Happy thrifting
