Perfect video/Perfect timing. Mr Newton, I'm a 40yr old cabinet maker out here in San Diego CA who has been dreaming of flying FPV for years. I don't know a single soul who is into this hobby and unfortunately there's not any helpful friendly shops around to help a guy figure things out that I've found. You Sir, have been the most helpful, patient informative mentor to me. I have an enormous amount of respect and admiration for you and have come to really enjoy your videos and your calm relaxing form of teaching. I can't imagine how I would have been able to put all the pieces of this great hobby together without your guidance. Sincerely, Thank you.
Thanks Ryan, your comment makes me happy. I remember the frustration of not being able to find good clear information when I was starting out.
Do a google search for local Rc flying clubs in your area you might find one near by. People who are in the rc hobby are generally friendly and willing to share what they know. Anyways goodluck
I love the information and way you go about showing how you setup your aircraft, I recently bought the same f405 flight controller per watching your reviews of it and experience with these things and have almost everything setup , I am new to using or flashing firmwares to use the uart ports for recievers, I know it supports sbus , but would the same sbus port support the betafpv elrs pwm micro rx , it's the only elrs rx that binds to my jumper tlite but even when connected to the sbus port it connects, with that it will not translate stick movements, my question is have I done something wrong, have I missed something, or will I have to change settings in inav setup for the flight controller, or something else. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated, I'm just really looking forward to get this setup properly and be able to get my ck wing in the air finally , thank you all in advance for helping me with this issue
I agree...as 1st timer in fixed wing from quad flyer, your videos are very informative and easy for me to understand.....keep it going, sir
newbeedrone shop is in San Diego sells this Flight Controller and fpv gear. An RC Club will have member into FPV. I'm in North County and in Palomar RC Flyers.
As someone entirely new to the world of fixed-wing flight controllers, this video was an exceptional resource. The breakdown was concise, and expertly delivered. Your explanations were easy to understand and applicable even for me, who has zero prior drone experience. This informative guide has definitely helped me with not burning my house to the ground or giving up midway because I can't find my way with the connections. Thanks a LOT
Great to hear that Dimitri.
Thank you for posting all your videos on youtube. they have been very helpful to me in figuring
things out. I'm new to the hobby and if it wasnt for you videos I probably would have thrown everything away by now from frustration! lol..... but I'm getting it little by little now.. thanks again!
Excellent, I remember when I was in your situation
Great video and many helpful hints for the beginner. Thanks. I struggled mightily years ago when i came back to rc flight.
Having returned to the sport after 20 years away, I can not believe the technology available now! Well described yet again, even I now have some understanding of this amazing unit. Thanks Andrew
Good to hear Tony.
Aimed at beginners maybe, but I started FPV in the noughties before the term was even coined, and I still learned a thing or two here. Thank you.
You have no idea how helpful this has been. THANK YOU!!
Excellent. I am quite happy with this video.
Thx Andrew, Very helpful to see exactly how to use this board. Just ordered one!
Great video, Andrew. I'm certain there are many new folks who will value this. Cheers!
I opened the box now, I was worried if I did something wrong. You explained everything very well. Thank you for this useful video.
I got back in touch with my dealer. He got in touch with SpeedyBee. Wowee !!!! What a difference experience makes !!! Looks like I have three good goers !!!
What was wrong?
Thank you very much, Mr. Newton. I just picked up the SB F450 WING FC and I'm new to INAV and FC's, so your video was something I really appreciated. It was concise, yet not lacking in relevant information. I've subscribed to you channel and I will certainly be checking out your other videos as I go through the assembly/build process. I look forward to learning from you.
Great to hear!
Thank you for the very informative video! This is my first time using a SpeedyBee board after just using Matek in the past. You definitely got my questions answered and I feel confident going forward!
You're welcome!
As always Mr Newton a great watch and learning experience to get me back up to speed with these complicated little things of our hobby. Been away for a few years and tbh not much had changed apart from more hd stuff available now so need to look into it as soon as funds allow haha . Thanks again and happy flying. Regards Nick
Yes the HD gear is a big leap forward
Thank you for this amazing and detailed video! Mr Andrew you are a legend!
Thanks, I'm happy with this one.
Hello "Andrew Newton"! Thank you for showing us such a wonderful video! I feel so happy! I'm looking forward to your next work! Have a nice day!
Thanks Andrew.
Hours of wasting my time to find out which Port/UART the Serial SBUS was supposed to be on in INav and you fixed that in a few minutes.
Haha, happy to oblige sir
ABSOLUTELY AWESOME VIDEO.. YOUR PROCESS WAS DEF ON POINT ,, TY GREATLY
Thanks Juan. Probably one of the most useful videos I have made.
Thanks so much Andrew! It is literally what I was expecting! Great as usual. ❤️
Brilliant instructions. Short, precise and exactly what you want to know. Just that and nothing else. Different a lot from other guys who make instructional videos. Good work! More of this! Thanks!
Many thanks. Mission accomplished!
Awesome video. I'm looking forward to fitting this in my wing now thanks to you 👍

thanks for the video ♥
wow great video. Cleared up sooo much for me. Thank you Thank you Thank you.
Excellent, mission accomplished
thank you for sharing your skills....
Superb Andrew 👍
I wanted to build my own rc plane , I build drones but a fc like this is great for beginners! Just what I’ve been waiting for!
Where’s aux 1-6?
Not sure what they are, quad terminology maybe?
Aux1-6 is Ch5-11
Thanks Andrew... I needed that... now to figure out where and how to connect my Walksnail and HDzero HD cameras.
First socket, opposite to the cam port, min 12:08, follow the toothpick 😅
Thanks again Catdad
As an addition, RX2 pin in the telemetry connector is connected to the inverter on the SBUS pin. (same inputs) Very convenient for Mavlink/RC transceivers.
Candy you tell me if I have to use the ELRS pin out to get full Rssi telemetry with my crossfire Rx , or can I still get telemetry using the s-bus pin out ? I’m using the 03 AU but I will not be using the dji radio, I’m using a crossfire v2 micro Rx… thank you ….
Thanks, I'm going to use this in my CTH ALBATROSS 46" in the maiden.
nice explanation.
Thanks.
Glad you liked it
thanks a lot
i ordered one yesterday
Many thanks.
Welcome 😊
Couldn't be more on time. Mine just arrived and soldering the pins :) hihihihi
Good explanatory video! But what I miss is the connection setup via Wi-Fi, so you can do without the annoying cable when setting up the flight controller. Best regards!
Wifi setup in the review video
Thanks!
Thanks Mark.
Another brilliant video, Andrew. Mine arrived yesterday so great timing! It looks an excellent FC but I still wonder why someone couldn't supply one with the pins pre-soldered.
AtomRC have a pre soldered F405 (maybe only pre soldered with the Swordfish RTH version)
Hi Andrew I love the simple way you explain everything. I have the speedybee 405. Am I right that the port for vtx smart audio is uart6?
Thanks for any help.
Great video! I'd be curious to see this board being used in conjunction with Ardupilot specifically PPM.
Painles360 might be the man to help
I still have three units which look good on Inav but no closer to flying. I see in your review that you used Esc connectors not three pins !!! Good thinking !!!
I finally figured out my issue with a Walksnail Avatar with no OSD. Just putting this out there for other people... I had to solder the Avatar VTX wires to the DJI outputs, NOT the 4 wires for the "analog VTX" that's labeled in the manual.
Well done. Which manual says to use the analog outputs?
@@AndrewNewton Fair question, and my fault for my misunderstanding. But I will say... the confusion between "tx5" and "vtx" is not clear in either your video or the manual. Having 4 wires from a Walksnail Avatar is more intuitive that it would be connected to the only VTX output with a 4 wire diagram. As someone who doesn't come from an electrical engineering background, "square fits into a square" makes a lot more sense than "square fits into a rectangle." If that makes any sense? There is both an Rx port on analog as well as on digital, so forcing the fit makes sense when it's not specifically clarified. It would be nice for that type of specific clarification in the future. I appreciate all your objective and subjective inputs and your hard work that goes into your videos, but just trying to give some valuable feedback from my perspective. I am currently struggling with getting the OSD to show up with the speedybee f405 wing mini because the manual isn't clear on the analogue vs digital inputs. It labels them, and I've tried using the R5 and T5 outputs and switched them numerous times, but still no luck... So I revisited this video in hopes of getting an answer since your new video doesn't address it. I think my next attempt will be to use the 6 pin plug, but I just prefer to solder. Just something to think about....
Where do you get the 4 pin connector for gps or crossfire. Great video. Ordered 3 of them. Using the fc esc stack for the quads.
EBAY DuPont connectors.
Hi Andrew. First off, this review and the others in your series on the F405 has been invaluable. I’m adding FPV to my LOS fleet, where I use a Spektrum receiver. Can you or any of your subscribers guide me on the best way to interface the two (Spektrum & F405)?
Dont know much about Spektrum but I think you would connect the receiver to UART1 T1 pin and select SRXL2 as the Serial Receiver Provider. Your receivers would have to have SRXL2 Serial output option.
I saw someone on another youtube video (Steve Salisbury) flying a T-28 in FPV with this Flight Controller using a Spektrum SPM4651T receiver and use a NX10.
Thank you Andrew, Do you cover ground station with inav via telemetry in some of your videos? How can I run a ground station with realtime monitoring and waypoint update during flight?
Thank you
Not an INAV feature yet
great timing for me too. My SpeedyBee F405 Wing arrived this week. I intend to use it in a yet-to-be-assembled AtomRC/Eachine Seal, with the analog FPV kit they offered. What I took away from this vid was the connectors you use on your VTX setup and adapter pins for what looks to be your "standard" harness configuration for your VTX/camera pins - I would love to see more detail there, but what I saw was you have simply put dupont style 0.1" header pins and sockets on your cam and VTX and spliced to the (supplied) connectors for the specific FC board. Any tips on what the ideal cluster of pins and/or layout you use is? My AtomRC VTX is a TX15 with 5x bare unterminated wires, and has a foxeer toothless cam with 2x wires in one JST micro connector (unconnected perhaps, as they didn't supply a jst on a cable?) cable and 3x wires in a second jst. I guess I aught to figure out what those wires all do :)
Can't expect anything to have the right connectors unfortunately. You will have to make up your own cables from the supplied AtomRC and Speed bees
Great video. Waiting for delivery of mine. While here can you tell me if Spektrum rx are compatible with open tx transmitter’s, I am fed up with my Spektrum DX8.
Thanks, any of the radios with 4 in 1 RF module will work with DSM and DSMX receivers github.com/pascallanger/DIY-Multiprotocol-TX-Module/blob/master/Protocols_Details.md#DSM---6
Thank you for the video, Andrew! Maybe you know where I can find power configuration for 4+1 VTOl plane with SpeedeBee F405? I found only for tricopter VTOl configuration.
No idea at this stage, but I will have to find out eventually
Great video! Is there an SBUS or CRSF receiver that is DSM2 or DSMX compatible? New to FPV and trying to make this flight controller work with my Spektrum radio. Thanks!!
I think you can use Spectrum serial receivers with INAV. Plug in to UART1 and choose SRXL2 in the receiver page. Actually it depends which Rx you use. Some (maybe satellite receivers) need 3.3V and plug in to the T1 pin. Check Painless360 videos
Fantastic video thank you sir. Got me started! I am only running a DJI 03 to the F405 with a GPS to get hud and flight data. I am not ready to connect a receiver and control the flight surfaces yet. The problem is that the DJI 03 won't arm to high power. Ive hit a wall on it. Is there a setting I can adjust or perhaps jump a connection to trick there Flight controller into arming the DJI 03? Thank you
Thanks. I don't have 03 but I assume you have to connect it to a UART and select MSP DisplayPort for that UART to send arming information.
Great video Andrew [as usual]. I noticed when you plugged in the SBUS receiver you left the voltage plug in. Would that not interfere with the FC board's internal BEC? Also is there anything stopping me from using SBUS connection with my crossfire receivers?
Thanks
Greetings from Florida.
Only the BEC from ESC might interfere with the on-board BEC. Receiver needs power from the board to operate. SBUS should be fine from CRSF, but I have not tried it.
Bad FC ?
The 4 leads that the battery voltage is flashing one after another. They were working correctly.
OSD, GPS, working.
The Runcam is getting very warm and haven't gotten the sbus to work.
Thanks for the help
Great video helps a lot. My question is what size SD card do i need to put in or do i need one? Thanks
Not required unless you want to record logs. Any microSD card
Thanks for the reply. I have another question please. Will the Foxeer gps work I have the M10Q 250 with compass in it? And how do you setup the throws on the surfaces like Spektrum I mean like low medium and high rates. I will be using DJI goggles2 and DJI controller with caddix vista air unit. Thanks again.
Great tutorial, many thanxs. I'm wondering, how to configure the OSD with Adruplane firmware? Any ideas, please? Thank you.
Ask Painless360, I dont use Ardu
@@AndrewNewton Thanxs Andrew, i've figured it out already. It's not GUI config, but using the Ardu PARAMETERS is quite easy in Qgroundcontrol.
I'm thinking of using one of these to experiment with ardurover. Maybe not your main area of expertise, but do you have any thoughts about the suitability for that?
This board is built for Ardu...so it should be excellent
Thanks for you outstanding instructional videos. Question a little off base, but can't find answers anywhere else. I have the EPW6 from Happymodel, trying to wire it onto Speedybee f405 v3 FC for a flying wing. I have the EPW3 bound to my TX16S, I have 1 motor wired up to the f405v3. But connecting the EPW3 to the FC got me spinning. I didn't think using the esc from the PDB would going to be this hard... I know Speedybee has a FC for a wing, Have them ordered, I say you use the mitek FC and thought I could go this way.... Hope I gave you a clear picture of what I am after... thanks again...AHC
EPW3 is just PWM as it comes, have you changed it to a serial output? Can the F405 V3 operate servos or just motors?
I pulled out the red plug from the bec servo connector as you suggested @5:15 And now my motor just beeps repeatedly whenever armed. Any suggestions?
Need to calibrate your ESC
Morning Mr. Newton. Looks like you were using a RX6R for this video, which is exactly what I have in mind. Just have a question about telemetry. I want to use the Yaapu Telemetry on my X9D+. Do I also have to connect the S.Port to a UART?
Yes S.Port connection is required. But S.Port did not work with the first firmware for this board. Needs to be upgraded to INAV 6.1.1
Thank you for this video. I recently bought it and so far performs well. Do you have a link of where I can get the Mac OS version of the driver for Speedybee F405 Wing? I can find Windows (PC) version in Speedybee website but not Mac OS. So far, I have been using my crappy old PC and my iPhone app for INAV but would like to start using my Macbook Air for INAV.
I see you succeeded already (Facebook)
Andrew, great vid, but could you please try to get a servo working on port S8 in INAV. On my two boards that one gets skipped, even though the configurator shows them as configured ok. Cheers, Andre
That is a bug with the factory firmware. Update to INAV 6.1.1 to fix it.
Ah, indeed that solved it, thanks a lot Andrew ! @@AndrewNewton
Hello Sir! New subscriber here I am amazed how well you are in this hobby, I always watches your how to videos, it really great that there are someone like you who are willing to share. As a matter of fact you inspire me to start this hobby.
I already flown my ranger 2000, I ordered my first fc the speedybee f405 wing, sadly as I intalls the needed plugs and pins after powering using my 3s lipo I found out that my board beeps continously it seems not normal as I compare it to your videos.
May I know what can I do? Or what is really happening is it normal?
The boards heat up quickly after 5 seconds of powering via battery
Hope you see my comment thank you in advance
Thanks and I happy you are flying the Ranger. FC Heating up in 5sec is bad. I would guess there is a solder short or incorrect connection somewhere. Not sure about the beeping, I tend to turn it off until it's working OK
great video helping out for the first time setting up FPV is there anywhere i can pm you for some extra help????
Thanks John. No PM but email or just ask here
5:15 you can use a (Micro SD to Micro SD Card Extension Cable Adapter Flexible Extender 15CM Black) so no problem with where the slot it
Good idea thanks
Hi Andrew enjoying all your content here. I purchased a speedybee f405 wing recently. Every time I connect a GPS the baro stops working not sure why cannot figure out the problem . Have tried inav and arduplane same problem everytime.
Very odd. Does your GPS have a baro that might be conflicting? SPL006-001 is the onboard baro. See what is recognised in the configurator
@@AndrewNewton actually I discovered I had a pin problem in the connector the was causing the issue. I am getting a little blind in my old age . Thanks for the advice . I am hoping to use it as my first arduplane. Loving your content Andrew very helpful and honest reviews. Thanks.
Well spotted. You're the second in a few days with tricky connectors causing strange issues.
Great video, I will be referring back to this a lot in the coming weeks. I'm wondering if the 16 gauge wire you have in this setup can handle something like a 30-40 amp motor? I'm pretty new to this and my internet searches tell me that even 12 gauge can't handle the current... I'm obviously doing something wrong here so I'm wondering about any tips for wires for my F405 wing. Thanks
I use 16 for everything but I rarely go above 20A, probably average 6 or 7A. Constant 40A would require thicker but 12 would be almost impossible to solder on to FC boards
Would 16 handle a burst for takeoffs or emergencies? Would a 14 gauge also be too thick for soldering to a board? Otherwise, I’ll probably just do what you’ve done with 16. Thanks
Yes 16 is more than enough for most models
Hi Andrew, I hope all is well...I have a small problem..I don't understand where I have to connect the black and white cable of the esc...thanks for your help HI
Greetings. ESC plugs in to S1
Can i connect the power from my ESC BEC to the board, not using the PDB to power the servos? I've used Pixhawk and always power it using the BEC from my ESC
No, not recommended. Would still have 2 competing power sources on the board
hi, thx for the video, I encounter some issues, I plugged a Frsky Sbus receiver, and enable UART2 and serial RX, but when I reboot it, the status is still not enable, please advice, thank you very much
Soldering or binding problems maybe. Nothing else in INAV if you have followed the video.
Great video Andrew!! But I have a question...
do I have to flash Inav/ardupilot to be able to connect to it?
Comes with INAV 6 preloaded. You will need to use the configurator to set the board for your particular connections.
Thank you so much!! Is it the same for ardupilot?
@@9407zeek Yes you would need to flash Ardu onto the board, then use Mission Planner to set it up. You have to tell the board what and where you are connecting receivers and servos / motors
Really nice from you!! Appreciate it 👌
How do you connect the FC to the 4in1 ESC? Sorry i'm new to this kind of hobby and want to make a quad, but accidentally bought a wing FC. Thanks
Doubt if it can be done. I would sell the FC to a plane flier and buy a quad version.
Hello, any plans to make VTOL video of wiring explanation? Thanks
No I dont have any VTOL models
Hi, it possible to connect via softserial to use it via SmartPort as it is possible on Matek boards?
Needs a firmware update. Link in the description.
If I am using walksnail do I still plug into the same port as the DJI VTX? I have heard some you cant and some you can but I havent been able to find any documentation on that. Really new to FPV and digital systems.
Yes same port. It's just a UART connection with 9V power supply. But you need to check the plugs have the wires in the same slots
@@AndrewNewton awesome. Thank you. New to this whole thing and trying to figuring everything out.
I found a way to have the FC set the ARM command without requiring satellites.
Set a rule in the MODES tab to set ARM when a selected servo is within the range specified. I picked a toggle switch on ch5. Then enable a logic condition to ALWAYS override arming safety. This is done in the tab that looks like a hollow gear. This was needed for my 03 air unit that stays in low xtr power until it receives an ARM conmand. It now switches out of low power based on the position of the ch 5 toggle switch, allowing you to go to low power when on the ground and only switching to high power when in the air. All without needing satellites and done thru the app.
Sounds good, although you are brave to override arming safety
Good morning, what Gps module, and what speed sensor are compatible with this controller, what other sensors could be installed? Thank you!
I use BN880 GPS, Matek Air Speed Sensor is good. Dont need vario or baro.
@@AndrewNewton thanks for reply, i will buy an a try to configure it, God bless you!
Not trying to be complicated but it would be nice if there was an online assistant that allowed you to supply setup information and the program would show you a wiring schematic of the supplied parts.
Might be a good task for AI.
I use a dsmx transmitter will that work or do I need a separate receiver.
Need a receiver with serial output like SBUS or whatever Spektrum uses.
Hello Andrew....great video...i just finished connecting all wiring on this fc for my dolphin but i need some input from you regarding irc tramp in inav 6.1.1....seems to me the tx800 speedybee vtx irc tramp to the fc doesn't work as it supposed to be ...do inav need vtxtable like Betaflight?
Tramp wire to TX5, turn on Tramp for UART5 in Ports. That's all I can suggest. No need for tables as for as I know but I dont have any tramp devices to test with.
I tried other uarts too as Speedybee instructions via email to them but unsuccessful...same goes as smartaudio...well...i shall fly it by old ways..power up the vtx to max, connect it only after gps locked and ready for auto launch...wish me luck for my maiden on dolphin, sir😂
Just tested Smart Audio with an AKK Race Ranger VTx and it works on mine. T5 pin, enable in Ports
Hello Mr Newton, you mentioned in this video that the fourth cabel to the camera is not connected. The diagram tells that it is for menu of the camera control.
Is it for camera control or not?
If you look at the board there are only 3 solder pads.
@@AndrewNewton Ok, thanks for the hint 👍
For the sbus example, you unplug the throttle lead from the receiver and connect it to the FC with the red wire removed. What is now powering the receiver?
I removed the red wire from the ESC cable and connected to S1, which is right next to the SBUS pins. SBUS receiver does require all 3 wires to be connected to the SBUS pins and is powered from the 5V BEC on the board.
Got it thanks. One more q. I'm connecting my receiver thru sbus and am using channel 5 to send the arm command to an 03 air unit to force it out of low power mode (03 air units require the arm command to go full power transmit). I've set UART5 to DJI peripherals on PORTS page and ch5 slider bar moves correctly on RECEIVER page. I wrote a rule on MODES page to set ARM based on ch5 movement yet the 03 air stays in low power mode. Am I doing this correctly?
@@user-ss9ym6wk8l Need at least 6 sats acquired by GPS to Arm the board
Hi, as I understand there is Speedybee F405 V3 Stacked that has a built in ESC 50A (normally used for Drone)
Can we use that type for our RC Plane?
Thanks~
No, there is nowhere to plug servos in unless you can reassign motor signal pads to work with servos.
Just finished installing mine in the _worlds ugliest plane,_ everything working as expected. I'm a little nervous about running 6 servos off it's internal servo BEC, but we'll see how she -crashes- flies! The Airloader in question has flaps 90% already installed, so what the heck I'll pop some 9g's in for sport.
It's interesting how the LED on the USB extension board is mapped to LED 0, can't wait to hook up to the LED controller on the board and put it through it's paces, I'm assuming the four LED connectors are all parallel when you have it in FC control mode, but we'll see. The board was a breeze to install (crank up the amps when you solder to the ground power pads, boys), and compared to my fleet of Matek boards, this has only one feature I miss, a 2nd camera input. Another interesting aspect of this board, is the free UART 4, and how they call it "User" in the documentation: I'm not used to having a free UART, and it's high time to get my Caddx Peanut and SMO 4K remote controls to work! lol
Thanks for the overview, Andrew!
I have never set up FC controlled LEDs. Let me know how it goes.
Best of luck with 6 servos, watch for that magic smoke
do i need to solder those pin into the board? Because some of mine are loose.
Yes all pins need to be soldered
I am grateful for your easy to follow narration but I remain trapped with no screen representation of the receiver. I have built a second easy bee with exactly the same outcome. Hugely frustrating.
Which receiver and radio?
The Transmitter is FrSky Taranis 9, six years old, never missed a beat. The receiver Radio Master R88 (Sbus) 1 week old working well
Didn't I answer you 2 days ago?
The change to a REAL Sbus radio worked wonders in the second unit but made no change in the first. While it seemed that the two units had the same problem it is obvious that it has the same symptoms in Inav. Thanks so much for your input !!!
Great video Andrew. Have you been able to connect telemetry using frsky smart port?
Yes eventually. SpeedyBee needed to tweak the firmware to enable SmartPort. Firmware links here - newtonairlines.blogspot.com/2023/05/speedybee-f405-wing-soft-serial-fix.html
Thanks Andrew. I assume i need to change the settings through cli. I am not sure of the correct commands. Any assistance is appreciated
@@damienaile You need to flash the new softserial firmware on to the board, then follow this newtonairlines.blogspot.com/2023/05/smart-port-telemetry-inav-and-f4.html
Success. Thanks Andrew

I have a bunch of old recievers for my flysky i6,they are called fs-ia6,is there a way to use these recievers on the speedybee or do i need to order another type of reciever?
SB F405 W needs a receiver with iBus or SBUS serial output, like the FS-iA6b. Your old receivers will work with a ZOHD Kopilot FC
@@AndrewNewton thank you ,I will still use them in smaller models that can't fit large speed controllers and upgrade to a better rx, will the fs-a8s be best for this fc as it is minimal in size
Dont know the FS-A8S but looking at the specs it should work.
Do you know if this fc is compatible with spectrum dsmx receivers?
INAV supports Spektrum so the answer is yes.
Hi,
So what would be the voltage going into the ESC and what would be the voltage going into the servos if the servo BEC is set to 6 volts for example? The servos get 6v input and the ESC gets whatever is the battery voltage? Or does the ESC also get servo BEC voltage which is 6 volts? Kindly clarify
ESC gets the battery voltage. Servos get 5, 6 or 7V from the servo BEC
