Smash 4 3DS will always hold a special place in my heart. I remember playing it while I waited for my food in restaurants. Smash Run is the best side game in Smash Bros history. I even like the artstyle with the characters having outlines (though it looks like that wasn't turned on for this video.)
Meanwhile Wii U players just got Smash Tour instead

Game & Watch is 3D is every Smash game. It is just that whenever you pause the game, Game & Watch's model gets swapped with an identical flat one to maintain the illusion.
However there are ways to break the illusion, such as the Metal Box or using certain Final Smashes (i.e. Terry or Sephiroth).

I have a bizarre addiction to this game. Well, it was my first Smash game so it’s probably not that weird, but I still play this game on a regular basis (at least 1-3 times a week). I don’t play online, I just fight CPUs, but I love this game to death.

Sometimes I go back to Wii U. Both for the nostalgic factor and also apriciate that Ult is an improvement, despite how much I tend to trash it.
I’m going to be really upset seeing the online for smash 3ds go. I don’t play but theres a reassuring feeling knowing you can still play and that there’s still such an active community of players still playing.

I used to main shiek and had a charizard pocket pick. Both if them don't feel the same no more. Nothing beats my best mates screams at 3 in the morning on a weekend because he wanted to Wizard Punch me and I just jump and press "Rock".

Smash 3DS was my very first smash bros game and it made me a smash fan, don´t have my 3DS anymore but seeing For glory still active after so many years was awesome, and Smash run was super addictive!! kept playing for days
As someone who occasions still enjoys 4 I love this content, and I often get that second hand nervousness/anger/reaction from many situations like you teasing that Ryu and almost sding, but you still getting the W because they ALSO got greedy. I almost felt that annoyance if you would have died there bro. That's a sub from me.
Smash 3DS is genuinely one of the best smash games. It’s got great modes, i good online, and it’s still going strong after 8 years

*I've never owned a 3ds or a Wii u but I've honestly played smash 3ds more than I have the wii u version lmao. My friends that had it would always let me play it at school and the fact they had the new 3ds made it feel like cheating since it actually had a c stick. But the fact that you could take smash with you IN YOUR POCKET always blew my mind. You can't even do that with the switch. Also shoutout ninkendo he fr needs to come back*

I love Charizard and i think that I'm one of the few people since Smash 4 who still use Charizard as solo character in Ultimate, even i take it to tournaments and i'm proud.
I miss so the RockSmash and the way that Charizard was Alone to don't having to change every time i die with his '''friends''', but now, i trying to carry him for a good place in this game since then =)! 🔥🧡🔥

I think one of the things that is helping keep the Smash 4 online servers alive and active is the fact that you don't need a payed membership to play online. Whenever I decide to play either 3DS or Wii U now, I don't have much too much trouble finding an opponent. Yes, it takes a little more than before Ultimate's release, but not as much as you would expect.

You really could have schmoovement in this game. I used to play this all the time in gym with my buddies in highschool and it was so fun. It was hard to get good on 3ds but was definitely possible.
I'll never return to Sm4sh 3DS, but I'll always keep those memories and friends close that I gained from that experience.
