Are you susceptible to being rolled as you position yourself to elevate his arm to expose his back? it appears as though were he to roll to his stomach, you'd be swept over onto your back? Just an observation/question from an old (70 years), and self-demoted bjj blue belt back to white belt! 😂
Hey Dom, i want to know how did you finish the triangle sub in the comp without good angle as we are taught. I reach this position all the time from this exact setup but find it difficult to finish as opponent stacks from forward pressure. Any tips?
if u have his hand properly (across) then grab your shin and scoop your butt backwards it will break him, if not enough pull his head, if not enough reach for his leg to dive under or go for the free hand to arm lock
Dom, what would you transition to when the opponent tripods into you once you go to your back?
I wouldn't transition, I would insist on the triangle. If they tripod and stack, you should always shoulder walk to relieve the pressure.
