NAV RULES #8: action to avoid collision

This rule talks about the ways that you must avoid a collision. If you are on a course like this shown in the video, and you have many boats around you, you can either slow down to avoid collision. You could turn to avoid collision (preferably to the starboard). Or you could slow down AND turn to avoid collision.
If you are the stand on vessel and the give way vessel does not do any of these things to avoid collision, you must act to avoid collision as well.
By all means necessary if there is a risk of collision, vessels must take action to avoid it at all costs.
