How to play Soul Baron:
- Play Mage
- Turn 8: Frost Nova + Doomsayer
- Turn 9: 2x Soul Baron, 2x Arcane Missiles, 1x Cinder Storm.
- Emote: "Oops"
So push back a turn and add a cinderstorm
a more balanced version would be something like,
when your enemy hero take more than 2 damage, prevent 1 and remove one card from their deck
2 damage cap could be very important,it prevent from abusing combo like arcane missile cinderstorm or unleash the hound, but also from too easy trigger with hero power or any cheap card,
in that case the original intention of the would be respected, it's a combo breaker, not a combo maker

That's already in the game Yargolocus. There are many cards that have alternate voicelines when another card meaningful to them is on the field (or hero).
Illidan/Malfurion, Cairne/Garrosh, Mrrrgll the Orcale/Sir Finley, Fandral/Tyrande, Tyrande/Malfurion, Vol'Jin/Garrosh, Varian/Anduin, Brann/Magni, Fizzlebang/Jaraxxus, to name a few.

I'd pay good money for a card like Meta Breaker.
RNGstone As long as it was accompanied by a ladder change that made it so that you couldn't run into the same opponent twice in a row. I've had situations in Legend where I've played the same opponent 3+ times in a row. This card would be incredibly toxic for Legend ladder grinding.
It would just make people run a few essentially identical decks that they would alternate between. "Oh, this paladin has 1 argent squire, and this one has 2 of them. Totally different!". Or maybe even like 9 of the same deck, with 29 cards that are the same and 1 completely random one that differs in all of them.
New Mechanic: *Meta Breaker* - if your opponent's deck has at least 27/30 of the same cards shared by 80% of the last 100 players of that class (+/- 5 ranks) then the meta breaking action applies
A Unique Opportunity - 1 mana spell - Draw 1 card. Meta Breaker: draw 3 cards
Punishing Gnoll: 4 mana 4/5 minion - Meta Breaker: gain +3/+2
80% metabreaker would be a 3manna 3/4 at rank 20 you get a ton of different decks between rank 25 and 15 stick with krips idea. last players of that class? what if 50% had an aggro deck and 50% have a control deck? that makes meta breaker useless for your ranking. also what is the last 100 players? the last players that ended their game that started their game does it include players multiple times that played more then 1 game?

Step 1: Get a full board of 3 mana creatures.
Step 2: Evolve all 7 minions into Corrupt Bartender.
Step 3: Loose 2800 dust and deinstall the game.
Step 4: Install GWENT or Magic the gathering.

That 'Last Stand' card was really interesting. I like how well thought out the card was. I could totally see that in HS
If the corrupt bartender was TEN dust deathrattle I still think it'd never be played. People would concede if they evolved a minion into the corrupt bartender and couldn't evolve it again, at ten dust, rather than let there be a CHANCE for it's effect to go off.

The thing is with Meta Breaker, I would be the one guy who doesn't change their deck because I know that everyone else would be changing their deck so it obviously wouldn't be the same as mine so I wouldn't have to change it.

dragoneye14+ that's pretty much how the game works already. Game over instantly due to circumstances you can't control are the bread and butter of HS.

I actually find these cards very fascinating and creative! i would absolutely love to see them in game. Make more of these Kripp! Id also love to know your ideas on some cool Paladin Cards too! (specially if they are control oriented :P )

I want all of them, but in this situation, I would pick Thrillhouse Manastorm. It has insane synergy with your deck and you really need late game cards.
chiepah2 you are running a 4 mana 2/2 and no spells just for one extra pyroblast. Sounds like total trash to me.

chiepah2 the thing is you draw 3 cards that you can only use in the late game and you could have drawn even more relevant cards instead if you used spells during the game. A minion only deck would be very agressive in any case and if the game is still not over by turn 10 they already lost anyways
You 'might' be able to draw on average 3 extra cards by turn 10 solely through spells (because if you are drawing with minions you can still draw with those) these 3 are guaranteed, every game, every time. against aggro its all about how well you draw vs how well your opponent draws anyways. Against control and mid-range if you cant burst them out by turn 6 you lose... unless you can hold on until turn 10 or 11, then you can finish them with a pyro or 2
I mean that card is pretty much spiteful druid, never drawing spiteful in exchange for 10 burst. I think you could make a pretty strong midrange deck with it though. Keleseth, Montain giants, twilight drakes and all the usual minions. Tar creepers, scalebane etc.
The problem with Corrupted bartender is that it could spawn on a players board from random effects, and then make him lose his dust. That's just bad.
It would have to say "Deathrattle: if this card started in your deck..."
Awesome job Kripp. Takes some balls to put your own creativity up for CZcams scrutiny, so even if I didn’t like your card ideas, I’d give you a lot of respect. But I think your ideas are very thoughtful and game-stretching, and I wouldn’t expect any less from you. Well done.
Absolutely loving all of these cards, nice job Kripp! Seems like the overall theme was to have quicker actions which I always appreciate.

3 mana 3/4 Battlecry: if your opponent has ‘Meta Breaker’ in a deck, destroy the enemy hero
I like this one, it reduces the game to a draw coin flip, which it kinda already is, but currently it is not as clean. Another "Start of Game" card is needed that says "Draw a Meta Breaker and a Counter Meta Breaker from your deck" to round it up into a turn advantage coin flip so we can all toss coins when we press the game start button. At least it all becomes fair, whoever gets the bingo on the slot machine gets legend.

Well actually that card is a spider tank. No1 would run Meta Breaker if that card existed, so everyone can just keep netdecking as now, with both cards not seeing play

I think it would be cool to have a card that affects fatigue damage, like a 1/3 "increase your opponents fatigue damage by 1."

I think Infinite Void should have a limit of not reducing the turn duration below 10 seconds. Because as hard as it is to get 8 of these played, it would just be a completely terrible feeling losing to literally not being able to play anymore.
Don Korb Yup, Valeera Fatigue is a deck that exist in Wild. Imagine a deck that'd go Elvish Piper, 4 mana 3/2 combo draw 2 minion, and this? You could consistently play it, while recasting it with shadowstep and cheat death, allowing for some really silly plays. I'd play it tho, seems like a good anti control deck.
Jahpal it's a mage card my dude. It would HAVE to be stolen and mill decks don't run burgle style cards.
Amethonys Mage can also get quite a few of these rolling. They have Simulacrum, a Panda or two, and with a combination of Aluneth and Book of Spectres and some heavy control minions (like Tar Creeper, Rotten Applebaum and the like), it shouldn't be too hard to cycle through your deck fast enough to stay alive and play 8 of these.
Not to mention Brann, Baleful Banker, Zola, Duplicate and Echo Of Medivh. Witchwood Piper can draw your these 2 mana minions, you can easily draw secrets with the 2/3. Pretty broken.
Amethonys Didn't pay attention to that detail, indeed, it's better this way

It MIGHT be op, but it isn't "easily" op. You have to build a deck with zero spells to even get the effect, which is just terrible. Also, you filled your hand with dead cards that you can't play until turn 10. At best you could play them a few turns earlier if you built the deck that way, but I still imagine that any deck built for this card simply wouldn't work all that well. I feel like this is a card that would be fun to play, but it wouldn't be in any competitive decks. It would spawn meme decks.
Or maybe change Pyroblast to Pompyro "when drawn, cast this at no cost against the enemy hero" (throwback to presence of mind and Pyro blast combo in WOW. )

Manastorm + leyline manipulators 🤔
Guywith2usernames I mean it's probably worth it. The problem is the Leyline would only ever hit the pyroblasts to my knowledge and a 2 mana discount will only REALLY mean you can use it 2 turns earlier (you aren't going to be able to combo it with any more burn). I think the card is ARGUABLY fine since most monster mash decks run out of steam and if they ever lose the board it isn't coming back since almost every board clear is a spell.
Also means no weapons or hero cards.
Amethonys elemental mage already runs next to no spells; the only big loss is jaina, which becomes less relevant when your win condition is just pyroblasting them in the face. Double leyline + servant of kalimos discoveries + zola etc.

As for the turn duration thing, I want an option you can checkmark for "Fast Games." If one person in a match has it checkmarked, the turn timer is reduced by 5 seconds. If both people have it checkmarked, the turn timer is reduced by 20 seconds.
Meta breaker meta, everyone play the same deck and whoever can pull it first wins.

Meta breaker with its effect changed to Start of the game would change hs into a much better game. Blizzard should hire Kripp tbh. :D

Yargolocus I am aware that it's there for a reason but it would be a interesting card with little-no negotiate impact that would be fun to play with as it would mess both players while not giving one a advantage (also 15 sec turns with no rope would be sooo funny)
the main problem is just that you can just stall when you are about to lose.
Yargolocus I think he means the rope is not visible, but turn times stay the same. Players won't know when the turn is ending is the point
I'm pretty sure he means the rope isn't displayed but turns still end after the same amount of time.

No, Nyquist statement says the MINIMUM sampling frequency you need to reconstruct a signal is the double of the highest frequency of that signal. However, you should sample the signal at a little higher rate than that, if you want the reconstruction to have a good fidelity. Although, you're right, sampling it in a really higher rate would be oversampling: the system would have a faster processor, it would need larger memory, it all would be more expensive and the quality of the sound would be just as good as a sampling rate a little higher than Nyquist's. That's also applied to video boards, for instance. The human eye can't distinguish frame rates a lot higher then 24 fps, so these GTXes blablabla FPS of 120 are worthless for the observers. Just buy a cheaper one.

Play jarrison to discard entire deck.
Play infinite void now and each turn and clear opponent's board.

Thrillhouse Manastorm could work in a combo deck:
The idea is you want to reduce the cost of the pyroblasts with Leyline Manipulator.
Brann+Manipulator+Zola on Manipulator (Zola is optional)
Manipulator>Youthful Brewmaster>Manipulator
6 mana deal 10 damage.
But counterspell ruins your combo unless you had spare parts or miror image (from 4 2/6 add a mirror image to your hand) or other spells generated from other minions.
Another solution to this is one more manipulator.
Your pyroblasts cost 0, and if you have Malygos, you can deal with 15 extra armor.
This combo is pretty easy to pull off if you have no other elementals (sandbinder draws you these and there are multiple ways to duplicate them, such as Baleful Banker, Ancient Brewmaster, Manic Soulcaster). So playing this deck should be really hard.

Thrillhouse Manastorm would just go into every Even Handlock deck. An extra 3 cards in your starting hand would make turn 2-3 mountain giant a real possibility.
