selfie can also be used on enemy minions
in which case it is effectivly hard removal for van cleefs, twilight drakes, any magnetised minions, and any deck with lots of buffs

I love these videos but they always make me sad knowing that we won’t get these cards in the game
The fact that Rafaams eye is so perfectly centered to the middle of the screen is very satisfying.
Selfie reads to me as summoning the targeted creature as it is at the time, meaning it doesn't remove any debuffs or buffs, similar to underbelly ooze. It could possibly trigger deathrattles/battlecries tho.

Holy hell, youre right. Just use 6 mana on Rocketeer for 10 damage. When you consider charge, Selfie is a game breaker.

@@fma0420 Nerfing it by 2 mana kind of just makes it terrible for its intended use (which is removing buffs from enemy minions and healing friendly minions). Nobody likes Leeroy burst combos, so I'd just add a condition to the card text: 0 Mana "Transform a minion into itself. It can't attack this turn."
That way, it's kind of a hybrid between Silence and Ancestral Healing. Not particularly good, but certainly might see some use considering it's a flexible 0 mana mage spell.

Selfie is a good way to get 18 damage Leeroys by repeatedly 'summoning' new Leeroys. A bit unbalanced.
I would actualy say the selfie card would do this: it takes a picture of a minion and gets placed into your hand as a card but only the stats gets saved, the deathrattle or taunts or any other text gets cleared (like a silenced copy but keep any health and damage buffs) and the manacost of the minion would stay the same as the original card. I would also rename the card to polaroid or something in that nature

Kripp you forgot about the best application for Selfie: attacking again with charge minions. Just the fact that the 5 mana 18 damage combo of Leeroy + 2x Selfie exists would probably make the card too good at 0 mana.
How cool would Polymorph: Wonder be if it put the Scroll on top of the deck instead of shuffling it?
Godwaggle, now that's a card I would like to see! Not because of the effect, but the art looks nice. Selfie looks always pretty great! Malygos Enraged isn't my thing so much, it reminds me a lot of Stardust Dragon/ Assault Mode and I didn't like that card. Polymorphs seems to be getting interesting more and more and, I had a different idea for that one. How about: Rogue Card: Polymorph: ARGH! The artstyle shows a pirate on a ship next to some tropical island, and a crocodile in the water turns into a pirate. Then the mana cost is 4, and the effect is: Transform a random minion in your hand, into a pirate minion.

Also really liked the card ”Selfie”, until someone mentioned that you could selfie leeroy and he would be able to attack again as it is a new minion. Leeroy + 2 * Selfie is 18 damage for 6 mana.

I think you missed the fact that the Selfie spell can target enemy minions. It sounds *very* powerful to me.
Way too powerful at 0 mana, considering this versatility for debuffing enemies and the leeroy/khadgar combo
I don’t think Selfie would work like that. Existing transform effects like Faceless Manipulator do copy enchantments. Is it that it says ‘into itself’ and not ‘into a copy of itself?’

Plan B is like when a stealthy rogue gets caught in a stealthy mission and gets forced to enter combat, hence the warrior cards.

Because Blizzard decided that "Echo should be a Witchwood-specific mechanic".
So they proceed to print more Echo cards, and just not say "Echo" on them.
It's retarded, but that's the official reasoning.

About Gruul, the Dragonslayer, the card text says that if your opponent is holding a dragon, they PLAY it, NOT SUMMON, PLAY. Playing a minion means that battlecries trigger. So if the original Deathwing is played due to this effect, then Gruul, the Dragonslayer is instantly destroyed, so the dragon slays it instead.
Yeah, I think they probably meant, "summon a dragon from their hand"
I mean, not even the Hearthstone dev team is consistent with the "play" vs "summon" wording. Example: despite the card text of Masked Contender reading "play a secret from your deck", it doesn't trigger cards which have "whenever you play a secret" text on them (i.e. Secret Keeper and Emerald Spellstone).
@@slicknicdwyer Yeah, there are a lot of inconsistencies that could/should be fixed that aren't necessarily a function of coding issues.
I think the Gruul that is in Hearthstone right now is a very good depiction of his WoW bossfight. First off you never see him actually slay any dragons and secondly he ist just a DPS check. You have to kill him before he grows to big and kills you. And thats what his Hearthstone card does. Gruul was a hard but boring boss in WoW so its fitting to give him a boring card in Hearthstone.^^
