See, I just don’t agree. Why is there so much momentum from the default web swing? I just don’t agree with the physics. The original Spider-Man 2 feels the most realistic of any game by FAR, and that was from 2004.
I always enjoyed the thrill of flinging myself from one end of the city to another, feeling as though I were the web-slinger himself and I didn’t have but a care in the world; from the streets to the buildings, it was my entire playground for me to just enjoy (apart from the increasing madness of the game’s events). You did well in capturing the essence of one of the most underrated games in the realm of Spider-Man.

I feel like this game is so underrated. I remember getting this when I was around 7 years old. It was so awesome. I want a remaster for PS4, XBox and Switch. Such a great game. This and Spider-Man PS4 are my favs of all time
The only thing I don't like about this game is the breathing when you start swinging really fast. I think they put it in there to tell you to slow down because the game couldn't render the city fast enough

The Young Gamer honestly I’m a big fan of spider man 2 (it was the first video game I ever played) but even I enjoyed swinging in web of shadows more. It felt like being on a roller coaster (the amazing spider man’s close up camera angles don’t even come close to the thrill ride of swinging here).

It's a really good game but the thing I dislike about it is that after you beat you can't free roam you can only restart the game which stinks unless you save another file you can load it and play free roam but still that's one thing the company needs to fix

I like the variation this game has over ps4, but spiderman ps4 maintains momentum better than web of shadows at least the ps3 version. You get to a certain speed and then the screen tearing goes haywire and literally stops you wherever you are and causing an instant free fall.

@@internetgamer5648 after you complete the game you have to watch the credits. Afterwards you're put back at the main menu, where you have to press continue, this will play the credits again. After they're done you have to watch them another 3/4 times and then the game Will start over with all your upgrades and spider-tokins intact.

You mentioned somewhere below that a lot of the tricks you used aren't even documented because you tried to make it authentic and all. What are some of these tricks? Im on Xbox 360. One thing I notice is that in games like WOS and SM2, you shoot one web out, then when you finish the arc, you jump off and fly through the air for a few seconds, then swing again. But in some non open world games and in other media, Spidey does it in a faster way where when hes about to let go he immediately shoots another web and it has kind of a Tarzan swinging on vines kind of effect. Just thought that was interesting. It would be cool if there were a game where maybe you could use either of those styles. Maybe each trigger shot a web from the left or right hand. Sorry this was a crappy explanation. It's hard to explain but if you saw an example you'd know what I mean.

You mentioned somewhere below that a lot of the tricks you used aren't even documented because you tried to make it authentic and all. What are some of these tricks? Im on Xbox 360. One thing I notice is that in games like WOS and SM2, you shoot one web out, then when you finish the arc, you jump off and fly through the air for a few seconds, then swing again. But in some non open world games and in other media, Spidey does it in a faster way where when hes about to let go he immediately shoots another web and it has kind of a Tarzan swinging on vines kind of effect. Just thought that was interesting. It would be cool if there were a game where maybe you could use either of those styles. Maybe each trigger shot a web from the left or right hand. Sorry this was a crappy explanation. It's hard to explain but if you saw an example you'd know what I mean.

I haven't figured out how to do it 100% of the time. Spidey does the "wall spider slide" on that building and I usually accidentally do it.
They made this map so damn big then once you beat it…*NO FREE ROAM* WHY DID THEY THINK THAT WAS A GOOD IDEA?!
Man I really LOVED the webswinging in this game. However Marvel's Spiderman PS4 still has my favorite webswinging of any Spiderman game

One thing that bothered me was that you couldn't travel to Roosevelt Island like in Spider-Man 3 like what was up with that?
man I got the game before and it's awesome I once try to get on top of the biggest building before and make a great jump and swing really fast

I agree, but this game is really buggy with the screen tearing and frame rate dips. For me that makes a huge difference.

Dante Palermo yeah I did too, but all I can recomend is web of shadows, spiderman 3 isn't bad in the freeroam mechanics and ultimate is awesome ! if you a fan, definitely go play them ! but web of shadows stole my hearth, how to web wawes, how the ''zombies'' walk in the streets getting their ass kicked by me :D it is awesome ! :D
