- After a tonne of people telling me that this game actually had four endings, and not just the two most evil and most heroic ones, I've finally gone back to the game to record them. So, here's all four endings to the game, as well as the parameters to unlock them.

The Anti-Hero ending feels the most accurate to Spider-Man. He never gets a break.
Maybe you already know but it's the canon ending creators have said it because when I see how Spidermans luck really is then this is the most accurate.

Because the writers never want him too, especially in the comics! Post-Mephisto, they finally brought Peter and MJ back together, and now… they inexplicably split. AGAIN.

That's kind of weird how they don't give you a Black Cat ending. She shouldn't be dead, even if the symbiote was wiped out. The creators REALLY didn't want you with her.

I like to believe in the anti-hero ending spiderman dates her after MJ broke with him, however that ending still feels void with what we have, I don’t like that
I think the evil and anti-hero ending should have a couple of differences based on those final 2 choices, maybe in evil ending if you don’t cut Wolverine in half he won’t appear in his symbiotic form, and if you choose to save Black cat in the anti hero ending you could see her with Spiderman choosing to leave MJ for her

If he was written IN FUCKING CHARACTER he would realize sacrificing his unborn child’s life to save his dying aunt (fun reminder, Mephisto only wanted to prevent peter and MJs kid from being born because at a later point in the future she apparently fights him. So not only is this out of character, they literally destroy Spider-Man at his fucking vote by having him potentially endanger countless lives to save his dying aunt, who would likely accept death and be very disappointed in her nephew for making such a reckless decision

@Daiyaan Sutton Spiderman's a complex character. He's been holding back his strength in almost all comics. But once the symbiote takes control. He would snap. And since the powers are already enhanced. That's what would make him scary

What if this game gets remastered with new graphics, adds a few more villains, and different suits?
It'll never happen but that would be god tier
Can you imagine how scary this game would be, I was scared to go down alley ways when I played it as a kid. But boost the graphics, different voice actor for Spiderman, this game would be a horror action game.

Anti-Hero = Losing not more things...
Villain = You bad guy, love Black Cat... And control army of symbiotes...
Anti-Villain = All same how Villain, but with no Cat..

Sorry for being late, but I heard that it's the canon ending for the game. It's to resemble the ending of spiderman 3 with peter being in a bad place after all that has happened.

The anti hero ending seems more fitting to spider man cause he always ends up suffering no matter if he wins or lose .
But that's the best thing about him cause despite that he keeps going.

Honestly fuck MJ. She's just not it. In my playthroughs, I always go with the anti-villain ending. I LOVE that feeling of Spider-Man being alone and taking over NYC.

So refreshing to see badass spidey actually get what he wants and completely Induldges into his desires.
The symbiote combat was fun. The shapeshifting tendrils was my favorite part. I wish that was more popular

It doesn’t matter tho. If u played as black suit most of the game it will automatically set as black. Specially in the bomb scene it would matter

I consider anti-hero (MJ not answering his phone call) my true ending because it fits with Spidey's character that for most of the time, he never catches a break despite all the good deed he has done.

I played this and the new game as well. I think this game is better. Better story and i think it captured who Spiderman is and how he is supposed to act like more than any other. The RPG side to it is a nice twist.

The reason why everyone around here feels uncomfortable with every Spiderman ending on this game; is simply the same reason why I was never interested in Marvel after Tobey Maguire disappeared from the original movies.

the times i chose black, i did it for cat, and all the rest i went red. i wound up as the antihero all alone, ghosted by my exes.. T_T
Climax #1: Spider-Man decide to not save Black Cat and defeat the symbiotes with MJ and Shield save New York City and if you stay on the good side often by staying with the default suit after the boss fight with Vulture the ending will be traditional ending with him and MJ flirting with one another as they swing together
Climax #2: He chooses to save Black Cat by sharing some of the symbiote with her and then live happily ever after and if you use the black suit often throughout the game then ending will be that he leaves New York to ruin being overrun with a symbiote army and MJ is dead or taken over by one as Fisk assigns Black Widow and her shield agents and sends a symbiote Wolverine who they assigned and ordered to hunt him down to capture him alive or dead as Wolverine chooses to bring him in dead
Climax #3 : He doesn't save MJ or Felicia and taken over New York with symbiote army with the same post credit scene with Black Widow assigning Symbiote Wolverine to hunt him down
I like all three but the best one is ending #2&3, the fourth ending which was the second ending shown in ending number 2 where he broken up with MJ and he's just alone on a rooftop sending a voicemail message on his phone to her apologizing about choosing to be a selfish asshead and hope she understands and walks away like a little bitch was lame as shit I don't know who in the development team thought that was a good ending whoever it is needs to be smacked in the head with a monkey wrench.

To me, the four endings would play out like this:
Hero - Corny, happy
Anti-Hero - Realistic
Villain - Evil, Cooler
Anti-Villain - Movie
The anti hero ending is realistic ngl. You can’t make everyone happy

I played this game a lot and i discovered the choice to destroy the machine of sound depend of the wolwerine syimbiote choice if you chose the black you will absorve syimbiot that will make you destroy the machine at red he put the syimbiot out of wolwerine and then you will defeat all syimbiotes

I'm noticed that everyone is talking about Hero ending, Anti-Hero ending, and Villain ending. But almost no one is talking about Anti-Villain ending XD
I find it a bit unexplained, and sure is not how Spider-Man would be. However, i find Anti-Villain is the most strange. It was like it's a villain #2 ending. I find both quiet the same, as the other 2, as 2 versions of a hero ending. I guess i can say that Anti-Villain is not quiet the true term for this ending, hope you'll understand.
But then again, for those's who would get a somewhat pure grasp of what, or... Simple close example.
1) Megamind
2) Superman: Red Son
3) Fire Emblem Three Houses - Blue Lions route - 5 years later by story
4) Dr. Doofenshmirtz
5) Death Note - L or Near
The term of Anti-Villain, is kinda debatable. but the problem with Anti-Villains, is that they may be a villains in some sort of, but they struggles in between good & evil. This is the only type, where it's not white, nor black. It's a pure-gray zone characters, that they may do questionable things, but at the same time, they are trying to be the good guys. At some point, those guys are the only characters, that you probably may symphatize with. Some will remember Thanos, which is why i say "debatable". It's kinda true that removing 50% is might be a suitable thing, considering his planet. But at the same time, it's a pure villainy, The moment ppl were killed, is mostly beyond forgivness. If it was one of your childrens, or any friends, or relatives, and you will figure this out that Thanos did that. This is truly will make you angry, and your hatred for Thanos, will be explainable.

While the anti-hero often fights on the side of good, but with questionable or selfish motives; the anti-villain plays a villain's game, but for a noble cause in a way that the audience or other characters can sympathize with. They may be more noble or heroic than an anti-hero, but the means to achieve their ends are often considered exploitative, immoral, unjust, or just evil. Due to there being a thin line between good and evil and the ambiguity of morality, anti-villains may been seen as anti-heroes by some and vice versa.*
Whatever you desire to understand this term of anti-villain, or having your own opinion, is up to you, ppl. I'm just dunno why am i even written this here XD

The villain ending, and the anti-villain ending are horrible endings I would never want to get, the anti-hero ending is a bit sad, but at least Peter is good, and everyone is fine, and I love the hero ending, which is the only ending I ever got in the game, I never knew there were other endings

@@jahmelbrewster4568 The suit also eat you slowly and might kill you in the end so I prefer live normally than live 30 years less and be stronger. Plus this suit just bring all the worst about Peter. For Black Cat that's your opinion but by logic the person Spidey prefer is MJ.
Izuku Midoriya I don’t think the symbiote feeds off of anything but negative emotions, ripping apart wolverine was fine considering it was payback for trying to literally kill you earlier, letting some of the villains go isn’t a bad idea because they are much more pressing matters at hand and they are viable allies, Peter doesn’t always choose correctly as we’ve seen in the comics, and this is coming from the same dude that people offer to help him financially (so he can become a better full time hero) and he denies them for no absolute reason.
@@jahmelbrewster4568 No, the symbiote feeds of the person he is with, the negative emotion are just the side effect of a symbiote but he doesn't feed on that. Wolverine tried to kill spidey because he clearly could smell the symbiote on him that could mean that he was controled, "everyone with a symbiote was controled so why not Peter ?" That's problably what he and almost everyone would have thought. Peter may not have the best choice but him letting some villains go isn't him at all.

These endings you're either with black cat at your worst or with Mary Jane at your best and everything in between is just spiderman losing Mary Jane, but you either conquer the world with an army or a lonely anti-hero. Like black cat's role just really seems insignificant in every other regaurd. Like antihero ending could have been a good ending with black cat if you chose black cat over Mary Jane. They could have had 3 extra endings with black cat in them. At least to make her have a bit more impact
