I still think profit by this or destroyed is the best... it's SO easy to get that out and control Tatooine with the 4 mains at that point.. and then it's just an auto force drain of +4 every turn not including your force drain in general. And the fact you get basically 10 force right out of the flip - Han premiere is perfectly fine... or you take 5 force and just put Captain Han after release on Super falcon and wreck anything in the air - throw EPP Leia on that ship and you can take out an executor.... Regardless all the extra force, just allows you to stack everything on Tatooine and just mass up force to interrupt and stop every thing DS throws at you.
And then you just throw out a bunch of cheap deploy cards and a free Master Luke (dunno what the creator's were smoking when they thought that was okay)...
I like the only bone they threw dark side was "Out of play if blown away" - oh yah... that's real helpful... after you have 2 life force left. It's so much easier to complete this WELL before the Death Star is any threat. It takes 7 turns to get the Death Star there... lol. Which means 8 because you're going to take the chance to blow up Alderaan at a minimum. And then if the DS actually gets to Tatooine Captain Han, Leia with Blaster, and Chewie are going to be running around blow up everything on the Superfalcon... whatever.

When I played in 1999-2002, I had an HBO/EBO force retrieval/cancellation deck. It would get EBO out in two turns. It won 89% of the time.
DBO was meant to be the LS version of Ralltir, but yeah, was never anywhere near as good.
With RST I played it at Deciphercon 2000, blew the bunker every game and the deck won all but one of its games during qualifying. Yes card intensive a bit but the helper cards that you could retrieve force and grab your generals and search for scouts really helped. It certainly threw most people.
Played Plead My Case at DCon2002, it was meant to be Senate light, 5 starting force, some senators for the flip (including Palpatine x3) and then mostly beat down with mains and toys. Worked very well too.
Obviously things NOW are probably quite different to back then.
I think the helper card in Tatooine helped RTS quite a bit. I always chose to run it as a platform to play on endor and less as a method of destroying the bunker as then a quarter of your deck is explosive charges and related cards.
I think the senate can just get neutered by the shield, “allegations of corruption” (I think) and since everyone runs shields it feels hard to do.
And yes, I’m also sure lots has changed not following the current meta super closely.
@@boardmatt AoC wouldn’t have affected my Senate deck, I literally ran 8-9 senators (you only need two down to flip the objective if one is Palpatine hence having three of him), maybe one search for a Senator interrupt and a couple of the political effects. Rest was standard beat down material with regen Ben, QuiGon, some EPPs, angry Chewie, HC&F and so on.
As for blowing the bunker, pull Beezer with Madine, Beezer can pull Portable Scanner, that can get the charges from reserve. I ran two charges and tracked a destiny to blow bunker at the right time. Can’t remember it now but sure there was another card that added to the total for the destiny draw.
would like to see dark side objective list as well.
Definitely on the to-do list. Might be a couple weeks. Just didn’t want to do one 40 minute video for both.

Over the last few years I've built 6 light and 6 dark Premiere-Reflections 2 decks. Light I went with are. WYS with LSJKs, WYS palace raiders, There is Good in Him, Rebel Strike Team, Profit, and a EBO. Good stuff! If I was to build another I'd prolly build Hidden Base.
Love hidden base. It’s just such a fun and thematic deck.
