main reason people get sick in Winter is lack of vitamin D
How did you know that
That is nonsense. Bacteria activates at certain temperatures especially lower temperatures and create detox. Vitamin D is plenty in animal fat, no need the sun in the winter to have Vitamin D.
Also, cold temperatures dramatically lower immune response in the nose.
Ah no it’s not true. My vitamin d is perfect and I’m sick all the time

We'll get there at some point. These Internet people always coming up with new trends, every other week. They don't know how to shut up and sit down in peace.
Haha 😂
You mean walking on coals? It was popular several decades ago.
Extremely insecure and pathetic NPCs.
The only reason they're doing this is because they want to show everyone how "tough" and "badass" they are...
You're mad
this guy is just dum look at him... if stress is so bad why does exercise causes stress i need to know if he even move at all theres bad stress and good stress this guy is just dum
It's incredible that we are living in the times we are now where p3opl3 are indoctrinated to believe everything that's bad for them, is somehow good. This cold obsession is out of control. As of late, I've noticed that more dudes in the US are also wearing shorts even in ice cold weather, and I have to think this stuff comes from the influences of Wim Hof and these other influencers trying to make people think that this cold exposure is somehow benefiting them. But it's only Caucasians I see doing this in winter.
This cold obsession is insane. I just watched the Shanda Vander Ark trial, one of the torture methods she used on her son was iced baths. He had to take ice baths. I think that sums it all up. It's torture. If it feels bad it cannot be healthy. Same for excercise....it feels bad so it's good right? People get hearth attacks when they are running and working out so it's good for you, sure...the backwards logic is insane.
All this stuff is only marketed to white people lol
up here in canada I saw a group of drunk american degen low consciousness bot tourists run around a ski resort in underwear when it was -34 degrees celsius out. A few hours later an ambulance was called because one of the girls blacked out wearing a bikini into the snow and got frost bite. This Wim Hof nonsense is a huge slave train fad that has become very popular with young adults i've noticed. All these stupid external things people latch onto just to feel alive, feel good, feel like they are in control, feel like they are bettering their lives is just such a cope. Nothing is more fleeting and pointless, like running on a hamster wheel.
The pinnacle of happiness is really simple. Owning a homestead, raising/hunting and growing your own food, having a family, being part of a tribe/community and following our natural instincts and desires. That's all we humans need to feel happy.
@@ilovefreeskithis is my dream , but it’s hard finding others here in America with same goals .
The dark eye circles on the CEO of self-torture are crazy
This reminds me of a Norwegian CZcamsr Apetor who used to make these funny videos where he sat in bathtub and drank vodka in cold. He passed away at the age of 57.
He passed away because he drowned.
He swam 1000 times in icewater always alone.
Pretty dangerous if something happens your body will cooling down very fast in the water then you simply die
My mom, who was born and lived in Siberia her childhood, was telling us how her grandfather sometimes would take her to Taiga(Siberian wilderness) in the summer. He would set traps for birds, gather berries, mushrooms. In the summer it can be 30C there. And she would tell, when they would stumble upon fast running stream that would be wider than a jump over it, they would look for a crossing, instead of going there barefoot, as the water was about 3-4 degrees C, and that's was basically guaranteed pneumonia. Also in the west people have NO CLUE about how to live in the cold, as in what to wear, and the standard procedures that would keep you warm and alive. For example, you NEVER go into hot water, if your limbs got frozen! It can really harm your vessels causing them to rupture. Instead, you would use warm heat, as other person's body heat, or wool in the skin etc. The guys in this video are breaking ALL those procedures and it is quite life-threatening. No wonder You tube promotes this.
The Taiga is beautiful. I would say that people in the western Rocky Mountains where I live do in fact know how to live in cold however.
You’ve convinced me, man. I tried raw salmon yesterday, it was very good and satisfying. Finally I felt full, didn’t have to eat for hours and have stupid “snacks” and garbage.
Im beeing bullied beeing in my comfort zone. Some ppl just dont understand what natural living means. They go to the gym and work 8,5h a day and unhappy. They just dont get it.
Thanks Gatis for this vid, keep it up
All by design. Basically what those influences are doing is feeding you "sophistry" to make you think that being in conditions that are uncomfortable, are somehow "optimal", when they are not.
Me too i cop so much flak whenever i stay in my comfort zone and recommend the same to others. Its another worldly teaching, whatever the world or the system says to do something, do the opposite.
Bro trying to Pneumoniamaxxing lmao.
I was stupid enough to try cold plunging twice. I was depressed, and thought it would help. It didn't. I felt awful all day. It only clicked later that it's literally suicidal. Only people wanting to die do things like this, hiking, mountain climbing, skydiving. They want to die, but don't. And they get addicted to the dump of endorphins. It's a horrible cycle of pain and addiction. They're death junkies. I feel so bad for them. Thank you Gatis for speaking the truth. You've helped myself and so many others see reality. If there's a God, i hope it blesses you and your family forever with all the blood you can drink. 🍷
You are so right. When we are desperate, we are ready to accept any solution. I’m also thankful for goatis. Funny how all he says seems self evident now 🎉❤
@@coolmoviescool I think hiking is very much ok. You are out in nature enjoying the elements, getting your vitamin D. But I agree cold plunging is not that great for us.
People have it too good in life and become mentally ill because of it. If they worked in some slave physical labor in winter at least a few months it would discourage them from those silly things like getting into cold water in winter or running long distances or other st***d sh***t. The only thing you dream about is getting into a hot shower and lying under a blanket the rest of the day after slave labor in cold conditions.I'm not saying this is good, of course but apparently they could experience it to appreciate what they have.
They don’t have it good. They’re just bored (as they should be) and will try literally anything to feel alive
Life is about distraction
@@patreeky5975 I don't think so. I am also quite bored with life however I will never do such a thing. If life forces me to slave away in cold conditions, I will somehow try to survive it, but I will never enter cold water for no reason, like a mentally ill person.
They don't have it good. They are severely brainwashed.
People have it very bad
Its not normal to see so many random people in every day life especially if you live in a city, food is poisoned, people have to work against their will, people dont have children, geoengineering is being done all the time, following your instinct is prohibited,...

putting your head under extremely cold water is extremely stupid, can cause autonomic shock
dive response causes bradycardia, cold shock response causes tachycardia
to top it all off coffee right after cause a long list of problems, increase of blood pressure, aortic stiffness, inhibition of hyperemia, impairment of myocardial blood flow... sure cold-water immersion to a certain extent can have placebo/mental effects but not this cold, a cold shower and thats as far as anyone should go, theres just no need and this shit is not only stupid but dangerous
Was that guy axing fish? What a douche wow that was bad
That was obviously just for the video
Wtf he should know a spear is for underwater fishing
When you take a warm/hot shower it feels good. When you take a cold shower or do a cold plunge it's miserable. So the logical conclusion is to go against every human's engrained warmth and comfort from taking a hot shower, and instead choose the miserable option. Ok 👍
I like how the founder of the cold camp doesnt join Will at any point in the video but instead stands off to the side just to watch him suffer and laugh at him lol

True vikings embrace the cold winters. You're a little soft Southern princess.
They embraced it wearing thick furs and having a constant fire in the center of their small homes
@@user-he8lq8ny3v Nah. We're designed to adapt to it. I've experienced it for a few winters now. I walk for 30-60 minutes in only shorts (and gloves and hat) on sub-freezing days to prove a point. It's fine once you acclimate. The Inuit and even some modern Scandinavians put their infants outside in the cold to acclimate them. This is a major blind spot for people who have never stood comfortably in it. I do not advocate jumping into freezing water though. Cold showers are sufficient.

After two years of doing cold therapy. I not longer respond to the cold as I once did. I don't shiver. That's because my central nervous system has adapted and become stronger.. Even when I do cold showers it's nothing challenging.
Man where were you when our primal ancestors were doing all these things natrually. Running long distances, fasting, diving in lakes telling them that those stresses will kill them. Unfortunately modern day life styles and the chronic stress is what is killing people
I hate the summer heat much more than the wintercold. As a child I always hated the summer and I still do.

Hi sverige, please review the video "If I could go back and change 1 thing, it would be this…" by Hamza Ahmed. He talks about carnivore diet and has a very very large audience. I haven't seen something like this recently.
I tried cold showers. And i am from a nordic country. I can see the npc in me, it made zero sense. As i was standing there in the cold, i was questioning why i am doing it, its cold here 6 months of the year, i am cold when i go outside
It's cold six months of the year in the Upper Midwest and I'm comfortable in it because of cold showers and intentional exposure early in the season. The body adapts and ceases to feel the discomfort in the cold. It becomes more of a comfortable numbness than the sharp, painful coldness that you're probably used to.
@@azzgunther it happens naturally in Denmark. The wind in winter goes through your bones
@@ronnie5329 You indicated that you were cold outside. My point was that, with acclimatization to the cold (by which I mean cold showers and taking walks without a shirt), the nature of the cold changes into something more moderate. It's something I wish I'd known much younger; I've always dreaded winter and going outside. Now it's tolerable. I don't feel very cold or shiver on most winter days, even in a t-shirt. One of the people I take a walk with 10-20 times per year _still_ doesn't believe me, even though she's there all the time.
When he went in the freezing water his blood vessels vasoconstrict and his heart pumping as fast as it can due to all the stress. And finally when he got out he drank shit ton of coffe only for his blood vessels to constrict even more. Only reason he is not in ER with blood pressure of 220/140 is, because he is young and probably has insane coffe tolerance developes due to all the preworkouts he take.

how can you heal from cold exposure? Is it possible? I worked in the cold a lot and now I rarely get sick, and I am assuming it's because my immune system was compromised.
