- Some of Deron Williams best plays in his career. Dwill is my 2nd favorite player all time and I wish he was still in the NBA but injuries didn't let him play the same. Prime Dwill would be top 5 in today's NBA.

Am I the only one who thinks DWill was way underrated?
Nope he's my 2nd or 3rd Favorite player of all time and in his prime he was top 5 in the league before injuries hit.
nah at one point the best PG conversation was D-Will & CP3
@@shakestewart185 I remember that shit.
Then D-Will signed w/Brooklyn and he fell off fast af
@@Toosii2times he actually got traded to the nets midseason a full year before they moved to Brooklyn. he balled out in new jersey that next year, and the first year in Brooklyn, and then like you said, fell off :(
@@tonyjmurillo96 oh shit u right… now I remember.. his contract was up and he decided to re-sign with them which was a big deal. And it was a lot of hype just as they were moving to bk. Then Joe Johnson signed. And I’m a Magic fan so I remember allll the talk about Dwight (before he fell off as well) wanting to sign there.
But yeah bruh my brain totally forgot about him playing in jersey for that first year lol
One of the tops and baddest hesi crossovers ever. Dude was blinding! Really miss that Streetball vibe in the NBA. Now it's just all systematic and fundamentals.
Agree I feel like Kyrie is the only street ball type player and maybe Harden when it comes to handles and layups. I miss Dwill I hate that his ankle injuries caught up to him.
Your comment is perfect! Dude was just a straight up baller who played hard as hell!
08 is the year when CP3 and DWILL battling for the point god slot
His double crossover was so nasty! Separation galore 🥶
He had one of the best crossover packages in the league that double cross was just different 🥶
He did everything with such excellent form. Just great body control
D Will was saucey af
He was 'butter' smooth. He was doing that step back before curry & Harden!
His slow hesi cross is one of the most underrated moves ever
Before Jamal Murray, there was Deron Williams.
Pretty good comparison
He was raw! Very underrated
one of the best crossovers ever
Squidward killing the clarinet! Nice beat.
The way he hovers his feet before he Explodes right pass the Defenders is just Remarkable!!!!
His crossover was absolutely disgusting.
He used to have so many players on skates
He was the best PG in the league for a good 3 years. Top to bottom, pound for pound. Size and skill.
I'm sorry but Chris Paul exists
Double crossover was double deadly.
5:30 this the step back Harden has perfected. DWill ahead of his time
Yo that dunk on the cavs around 2:48 is crazy lol
Beast
This man really was in the same conversation as Chris Paul the Point God himself
I know many Leaguers will say he was their toughest to stay in front of.
Most modern point guards are just undersized 2 guards playing at the point position.
D-Will was unique in the sense that he was absolutely a traditional point guard, except when he needed or wanted to, he turned into a shooting guard.
The only other player I can think of who had that ability (also with otherworldly athleticism which Williams didn't have) was Derrick Rose. Even Westbrook was more of a scoring guard than a point guard.
I’m here just for the crossovers
I use to go crazy w him on 2k
He was so easy to score with especially with the crossover animations
Back when Live was superior to 2k lol
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Now look at d will knocking niggas out!
I know that D will highlights boy was a beast. But Ray hit a 3 to win that game off a double high pick from KG.
Fire vid
Thanks
I swear prime to prime he was better than Chris Paul. I used to love watching him play 2nd favorite player
Definitely not the only one but maybe because I'm biased but eventually CP3 ended being the better player as we see now but Dwill to me had the edge over CP3 in their prime. Same Dwill is my 2nd favorite player all time behind Kobe.
@@h.m.j.a.206 I would say Chris outlasted him. But he d will gave it to him when they went head to head. Bigger, stronger, and probably a better jump shooter injuries got my boy
Yea he had the worst luck with ankle injuries. When he got brought out in Brooklyn I already knew his time was coming because he lost speed, shots were off and he just looked completely different.
@@h.m.j.a.206 said watching Brandon Roy highlights right now. Them dam. Injuries just get some people
So many great players in their prime got hit with career enders which sucks because I look at today's players who are getting hit by injuries every year and I just hate to think about what the future is looking for them. Broy was a walking bucket in Portland him and Dame on the same team would've been insane.
Give Matt Barnes all the 💨 with the crossover
Dude was a beast. Too bad he left Utah. His career was never the same. Best Jazzman I saw after Malone and Stockton.
Until Mitchell
@@alectateformayor5129 arguable
@@alectateformayor5129
D-Will with Utah: 17 pts, 3 rebs, 9 asts on 47% from the field, 36% from 3
Mitchell with Utah: 24 pts, 4 rebs, 4 asts on 45% from the field, 35% from 3
No clear cut answer there, but I’ll take Williams’ playmaking and efficiency if given the option
his crossover is better than ai
Deron's the original Kemba imho.
Matondo mingi Tata Mokili po o sali mutu oyo.
Jamal Murray plays Like him
He actually does now that I looked at some Murray highlights.
D Will was way stronger but Jamal does have a very similar game
As a huge basketball and even bigger denver fan I have to disagree man. I see the movement style your referring to but williams was a much better passer than murray. Murray is everybit the scorer that dwill was but the pressure deron Williams (especially when he was prime in utah) put on a defense with his ability to disect a defense and find the open man made him a better player imo. And like I said this comes from a life long nugget fan.
@@Rams8148 fair point bro
@@Rams8148 This accurate
So good in his prime. He got lazy when he got paid. I'm sure injuries was a big part of it too.
People forget
Who remembers cp3 vs dwil debate
Was the best debate. Cp3 career was better, d will prime was better
What’s the song name my man??
This is what I used czcams.com/video/lhcoy4tqdwQ/video.html
Thanks man!
@@kickinrattleback No problem
Becky got crossed
He made de double stepback before Harden.
Dwill use school chris paul
