    I just got an LG C2 after upgrading from a Vizio MQ6. All I can say is, WOW! Such a crisp & clean picture. Especially watching stuff in 4K. Not only is there a huge difference in watching regular TV & movies but playing the PS5 on the LG C2 is a whole new level of beauty when it come to picture quality. I am really happy with this TV. I am just beginning to find everything it has to offer.

    The larger, scoop-shaped stand on the CX and C1 supposedly works with the downward-firing speakers to deflect the sound toward the listener. I wonder if the smaller stand on the C2 has resulted in a deterioration in sound.

    Just got a C2 65 and now playing with settings after a firmware update. However, was welcomed this morning by a blue screen with a message saying this TV does not support HDCP on the source HDMI 2.1 port (which is Sky Q btw), which usually means the TV drops from 4K to 1080p resolution. Is that correct, and if so how can LG sell a contemporary TV at this price that does not support HDCP 2.2(?) on all its 4 HDMI 2.1 ports? Thanks for any feedback, as I am a relative newbie as far as TV tech is concerned....now thinking about returning this panel.

    The C2 was my first ever oled and im very satisfied with the deep blacks and beautiful contrast. I have a dark room so the brightness of the C2 is plenty enough for me

    • @Bacbi
      @Bacbi Před rokem +1

      Mine is pretty dark too, not to the extreme but my only light source is directly behind me so it just sort of lights up half the room and I also have my TV roughly 2+ meters away from me. My big concern is the reflection/gloss I've seen mentioned in several reviews. Do you have any problem with possibly seeing the light, your own head or anything else that is in your room when there are areas of your screen that are going to be very dark or in some video games pitch black?
      Looking to see if I can get a new years deal on this but I want to be sure reflection isn't going to be an issue.

    • @Bdot888
      @Bdot888 Před rokem

      @@Bacbi well the reflection can be annoying if the light source is bright and directly facing the screen. But if you get good shades it helps a lot. And watch the tv with the lights off. But other than that its a beautiful tv. The glossy look makes the colors on the tv pop more

    • @Bacbi
      @Bacbi Před rokem +2

      @@Bdot888 my light source is more warm than very bright and it's covered so that it just goes up. But it's literally behind my head so if it shows up on the screen that is a dealbreaker considering how much money they are asking. Got my 42” LG C2 for $899 from my local Best Buy this past Saturday (the store had ONE left and I wasn’t going to let the opportunity pass me by) and set it up myself some hours later. The 48” is maybe just a bit too big for how close I am to my TV, about 6.5’ away and the previous TV I had was 42” (a 2016 Samsung JU4200 which was only decent for input latency and response time and I could notice some of the delay for some of the games I play, but good enough for the time I had it) and the C2 is a massive upgrade in picture quality and input responsiveness over my previous TV.

      @@BrandonMarlow It’s the EVO panel itself that just doesn’t have the same mirror like reflection to the panel as previous models. I’ve been watching both but the C1 is clearly better IMO.

  • @ChristianKrogh-Denmark

    It’s amazing. When comparing images of Spidey standing in the forrest, with the sun behind the clouds, etc. The Sony is getting more praise, but I STILL prefer the C2’s image here. I honestly don’t give two squirts of piss, if the Sony is more color-accurate, I still think the C2 looks best, and for me it sure as heck ain’t worth the price-jump, just because there’s a “SONY” label slapped on it. In the end it all comes down to what YOUR eyes like the most, and C2 it is for me (plus you can always do some tweeking, to get the image a bit closer to what one prefers) C2 is an INCREDIBLE tv, and total “Bang for your Buck”.. Oh well :-)

    Just got the c2 simple reason coming from a b9 so the c2 is a worthy upgrade for me I don’t do Sony tv’s because you have to pay more for less features like 2.1 hdmi and when it’s come to Samsung I know Samsung QD 0LED is brighter and the colours are more saturated but there updates are broken more than not and for me my c2 is more than bright enough and I’ve never watched a movie or played a game and wished I had more brightness

    After watching numerous reviews and then looking at them IRL I went with the Sony 48” A90K.
    I couldn’t deal with the reflective nature of the LG screen and when I saw the image on the Sony I was absolutely stunned. Another thing that pushed me to the Sony is that I’m paring it with a PS5.
