No many artists would do this or be so nice to their fan base, I love his personality, he is just so much fun to watch in interviews, I saw him live a few summers ago with my music producer friend, honestly one of the best performances I've seen, a no bull shit show, he told the P.A guys to stop the light show and just turn up all the lights so he could see the crowd, rare for a musician to do, I wanna throw my friend some love as we've been through a lot together he's heavily influenced by Mac, try searching, he's just released one of the best songs i've heard in a long time, try searching Lonely Gimmick - Grumpy Days, seriously you need to hear it

Mac is one of the personable performers I’ve ever seen. Saw him at one point and he got 3 different fans to come on stage to play and showed off some fan art he received. He even will hire some of the people who play from the crowd to be in the band! Nothing but love for this guy 💜

I was a guitar teacher at a music school for two years (only left because of COVID). I have taught people of all ages, races, genders, religions, sexualities, and just knowing that I might have contributed for people to live moments like the one this young man lived in the video legitimately fills my heart with joy. This kid absolutely killed it!!

I randomly met Mac at the Arc Light in Hollywood, I was freaking out to say the least. He’s such a cool dude. After talking for about 5-10 minutes. We were saying our goodbyes, when he gave me his email and invited me to watch him play at the Greek Theater. He got me VIP passes for me and a few friends. He’s a genuine guy. LOVE THIS MAN!

rubberneck88 Playing a show is one thing, walking up on stage and calling so much attention to yourself to be some badass guitarist is another. I could play on stage in front of lots of people with people I know and not feel any nerves at all but the other week I signed up for a jazz jam and the anxiety from that was pretty bad. Still just something you have to get used to.
