hello,I watched the video you shared about the Cisco Desk Hub and thought it was great, so I purchased the same device from eBay. But now I have encountered a problem. During the process of using Webex, the device will restart repeatedly. After that, I tried to update the device's firmware version to the latest, but I do not have permission to download it. Can you provide me with the latest firmware? give to me? Thank you so much!
Great video!
If you have your phone in the recharging position on the Desk Hub, does the hub and monitor provide your Webex App messaging and telephony experience?
Hi Matt. The Desk Hub will display your upcoming meetings and OBTP. It also becomes your Cisco phone while you're logged into the Desk Hub. The Webex App for messaging is supported on a Smart Phone (Apple IOS or Android device) or computer (Microsoft PC, Mac, Chromebook, Linux, or browser). The Webex App for messaging is not a feature on Cisco video endpoints nor the Webex Desk Hub. I suppose the Webex Board is offers a feature to add a Webex Space for whiteboarding, but not for messaging. You can wirelessly (or via a wire) share your computer screen or smartphone screen to the Webex Hub. This allows you to display the Webex App on a larger screen.
Will the Zoom Room Webex connector allow for participation in Zoom meetings via OBTP?
Hi Matt. The Webex Desk Hub does support OBTP if the Zoom meeting includes the "Join by SIP" option in the invite. The host for the Zoom meeting will require the Zoom H.323/SIP Room Connector subscription.
What is the recommended setup if you do bring a laptop and want to use the same monitor that the Hub is connected to and still have the Hub connected to the monitor for Webex calls.
how does the mobile phone interaction work, wqould like to see a demo with some wireless screen sharing as well. Does the device also have the ability to charge mobile phones while connected to. Is there also any microsoft teams integration?
Bravo!
Cisco apparently killed this product as it was not suitable for hot disking for several reasons
