Today, we are going to be talking about Firefly and all the things you should keep ready to look out for on your radar! This goes from Firefly and her banner all the way to Jade, and even reruns like Ruan Mei and Argenti! The sky is the limit when thinking of what hoyoverse could possibly do when making these schedules for the banners! I want both but I'm conflicted about who to roll for first cuz I can only assure one of them ... 270-300 pulls by the end of the banner
The one thing everyone saying you need Ruan mei first before firefly forgets is that they might release new break effect supports too. I think either is fine. If you can only get one, ur just waiting for firefly’s re-run, or a new break support since ruan mei likely won’t be re-run again soon. But they’ll release a new break support eventually just like they’ll eventually release firefly again
Yeah its all gonna be a matter of preference. Thing with universal supports is that later down the line, they won't be the best in slot for specific playstyles.
Tho that doesn't take away the value of the character itself. Ruan Mei overtime will still be likely to provide one's account with a lot of value by being an amazing support for the endgame modes. And by the time a better support for a specific playstyle should be released then you would already have jades saved up for pulling. (Tho this is assuming that one's account isn't already fully clearing all the endgame modes available in star rail)

I know this is a standard series on the channel but I don’t need to consider anything this time firefly WILL come home 😂

I'm a few pulls to pity, have Ruan Mei and most of the characters as well. Skipped Boothill to Firefly.
The only exception to the power creep is Kafka. If they make another character that does what she does but better, that only buffs her!😂
Ruan Mei too. If they give more weakness break efficiency and res pen, you can just stack that and get twice as much
It's not that I don't want Ruan Mei, it's just that I want Firefly first. Hoping I win my 50/50s.

@@ABC-yj6cy I said first. Doesn't mean I won't try and go for Ruan Mei. At 70 pity and 135 pulls at the moment. Besides, I saw a video where you can get by with Asta.
Get by with asta but this M OC Buff significantly buffs firefly ruan mei will literally double your firefly damage
Jade can be a dps, a sub dps and has a little support like Yinlin in wuthering waves, she should have plenty of longevity since you can play her on so many teams.
My priorities
1) Ruan mei
2) FF ( if win ruan mei 50/50)
3) Preservation character
4) Acheron

If you are thinking between Ruan mei and FF, just pick Ruan mei. You can pick up Xueyi along the way and she's basically FF at home 🤣 Xueyi, RM, HMC and Gallagher and you have an effective break team if you just want to try out break teams. That's basically your gateway to break meta
Ruan Mei is just actually busted, especially for dual-DPS teams. She really helped me up my damage a lot.
Firely also looks very very fun and would go well with the aforementioned Ruan Mei, but I have so many FUA characters that I feel like I should be holding on for Jade. I know Jade doesn't work especially well with my Topaz/Ratio team, but for Blade/JY I feel she is gonna be absolutely great. I'll likely wait til content creators get a hold of her in the "early access" and see how Jade is; if she isn't as great as she looks, maybe I'll just roll Firefly instead.
I had no interest in Argenti when he came out, and that remains now. He can hit pretty hard, but I have other characters that can hit pretty hard already. Not liking the design is also a factor.
Jiaoqiu I feel pretty "meh" about. I do only have 1 limited Healer atm (Aventurine) so maybe he'll be good? Being Nihility though I feel he will be moreso for Nihility characters, which I am very lacking in.
Yunli I'll be keeping an eye on, for sure. She has a nice design and I do like swords, so we'll see how she actually plays and go from there.
So apparently I need Ruan Mei first, then 2 Firefly copies and her LC in 320 pulls…GL >_>

Both... But start with ruan mei
You might want to pull Ruan Mei first since she’s a support that adds value in your account in the long run. DPS gets power creep a little faster or not meta every version or so. Your account, your choices.
If I were you I would pull Ruan Mei and then Firefly (if you can both 50/50 or get early pity), light cones are optional depending on your budget. Then again, it’s your account not mine. Pull whoever you want.
@@spacedorito9592 I think I'll pull ruan Mei first in case of the power creep u mentioned and because she adds value to my account and then see what other characters I like after I get her, I could also lose the 50/50 on her banner so yeh but if I do end up getting ruan Mei ill just save for ff or any other good dps that might come out or maybe even sparkle cause I need her too
i've just commented this on another video, but this is my thought "in this MoC and maybe the next MoC, FF doesnt need RM because it clearly buff Break team. But if you want to future proof your break playstyle, you 100% need RM, so no RM no FF". Hey, i might be wrong, but that's what i thought.

people using her on this break buff moc thinking she is op wait till the next moc comes without the break and attack boosting troter.😂
That's not gonna suddenly make her not able to clear tho 😂 e0s0 with the right team will still clear literally everything
@@o0ugi860 will no longer 0 cycle which an acheron team will do with same invesment on any moc. it still will make people feel like she is good enough without ruan mei because of the moc buff but the scam will kick in when the next moc comes.
well, she IS op. the amount of break efficiency she holds + the turns she gets, mixed in with even a f2p team like hmc, Asta, and gallagher, still performs really well. The ability to brute force any content no matter the element an enemy is weak to is always gonna be an upside no matter what content comes out.
NGL break meta became, hyperbloom of genshin. Now I'm feared. Easy to build universal characters.

I feel like I'm the only person not interested in her at all... I'm full-on Boothill maining for my break effect team, he's so much fun and engaging as you have to pick and choose who to hit rather than the usual Destruction shenanigans

Absolutely fair opinion! Firefly fans like myself are the most vocal rn because the banner is finally here. But there are so many who prefer Boothill's playstyle. IMO, do whatever is most fun for you! Always prioritize fun over meta.

... No. I'm not sure if you don't understand FF kit or Kafka, but you're so wrong here. If anything HMC is the Kafka of BE teams.
@@kolebowyer3837FF is sort of the Kafka for Super Break teams cuz she triggers the bigger Super Break while HMC only provides the SB mechanic. It's like HMC is providing the dots while FF triggers them cuz her kit is revolves around Super Break
How exactly is that the case? Kafka will forever be the meta for DoT teams because she explodes the DoT outside of the enemy turn, while Firefly will just get powercreeped by new break dps.

I could replace FF with Boothill and do the same thing. It's not the same.
@@kolebowyer3837 different Super Break dmg. Like I said, her kit revolves around in increasing the Super Break dmg provided by HMC. While Boothill can still deals more dmg on his own without SB, cuz he already has additional Break dmg from his kit. If you pair him with HMC, it does give additional dmg but not as big as his own additional Break dmg
Kafka is a universal dot trigger, unlike Luka & Gui who are specific element dot trigger. In this case Kafka can trigger the dots faster & flexible than the other 2. While in FF case, she triggers SB but faster & bigger than the other characters cuz she has a lot of spd and can be even more faster if she has the right teamcomp
