I am getting convinced to use her as my sustain for Calcharo, but there are a couple of things that worry me a bit. It seems she needs to do her full forte heavy attack to get the shield, how do I fill the forte gauge as quickly as possible? What does that shield scale off? What stat do I need to stack on her for this shield to be strong? The second utility I want to use her for is the crowd control, so I’ll have to give her a lot of energy regen, right? And lastly, her echo set should be rejuvenating, right?

Your base Crit damage doesn't work like it does in genshin and HSR. The 150% CD that you see at base is actually just 50%.

i have jianxin c2+ 5star weap c2 and jiyan c1+hes sig weap... jian with full+25 ecos and jiyan ecos on lvl 10 up to 22... he hits like twice her damage... i think shes fine for world adventure but for tower in the late game i m not so sure... i love her and i think shes worth to heave but i would not like to have her as my only resort for end game content

Verina brust , then mortify brust and outro skill, jiyan brust then while in brust do skill once , then do spam na attacks.

I agree, she's underrated af, but also I didn't even realize her ult heals. I have two healers on my main team right now for no reason, people are sleeping on her. AND she buffs the team?!? Cmon, Verina has more consistent heals, but who needs that when your shield is negating that much damage and adding dps???

nah she cant even compete with yuanwu a 4 star, which provides your team resistance against interruptions . her shields takes a lot of field time as a support. As for crowd control it’s very inconsistent. getting her forte energy for the shield just intro and ult and skill is not enough. you need to do some basic attack. voila, as a melee attacker she knocks back enemies far beyond reach, you have to chase them around. It’s just very clunky to play in a quick swapping combat system. Although yuanwu you need to have 4 copy to get a shield, but as game progresses everyone will get. And it’s a 4 star character. ​​⁠her forte charge attack (which gets you the shield) can be interrupted by bosses with sopecial debuffs like freeze and the spectro one, you have to be very familiar with the boss animations and attack patterns, otherwise standing there charging for like 3 seconds-ish you won’t even get shields and wasted time, in the case of abyss and hologram time does matters. the bulked up elite mobs in abyss can also harm you and interrupt you while charging the shields.

The problem with him is his mechanics were more useful during the early game where speed wasn't a big deal. In late game not being able to pop LL faster caps his dmg in comparison to just about any other 5s DD. Serval can equal his numbers with how often she pops ult. It's similar to yukong where working around the kit is way more sweaty than just using a different character that fills the same role.
