    When I first met her I would see the world through rose-colored glasses, then she showed her true colors and my world turned gray. Now, I'm always blackout drunk singing the blues

    This is so fun, Kayla! Thank you for putting this together! 22:32 "the grass is always greener on the other side" is a great phrase to learn! Native speakers use this idiom A LOT, so you should get comfortable hearing it and understanding what it means in conversations

    The idiom 'out of the blue' comes from the rare (but still real) situation when the weather is fine, the sky is blue and all of a sudden a lightning/thunder comes 'out of the blue'
