Chomping at the bit.... It's a new one for me. I'm always chomping at the bit when it comes to watching your video's!
Oh Keyla , your softness towards your schoolchildren comes from your mum. In fact what you call the hardness of your mum, was in reality softness wrapped in a core of hardness. Softness gives birth to softness.
Yo !!
She is good!
I Woukd stick to her clips.
She is a straight shooter !
No beating around the bush!
I like the fact that she goes right for it.
all she says is applicable
I had a marathon of her clips
All legit!
All applicable in real life
Take my word for it
I have been living in her nick of the woods for quite sometime.
Stick to her and u will be fluent in no time
I don not understand why is pretty easy for me to understand all you say in yours videos and then when I listen to somebody else turns different for me.
That’s make me feel I am a good Kayla student and maybe soon I will be getting the meaning of others conversations. Thanks.

Kayla teacher l have let go home after work see you tomorrow again.

❤You made my night, I have been working on my book for a while now! There will be tons of useful phrases in it, I can't wait until it's finished, hopefully at the beginning of 2023
yes, write a book. everyday life kinda like a mess including tons of aspects. so a bit harder to remember all these 20 phrases if I dont have a partner to talk with. if there is a book, I think in order to remember and practice using them, should brush up on them everyday.

Hi Kayla. I'm a Brazilian English student in Brazil and I've discovered your classes few days ago. I'm liking your videos a lot. I know they are improving me to be a better English speaker. Thank you for your teaching. A big hug from Brazil
Very nice and teaching but above of all, beautiful teacher in the USA!?👍🕺💃😎💋
I could not think about anything more specific that could be the exact thing like "to have a bone to pick" but in Brazilian Portuguese when we have something to talk about with someone and there are problems to be solved, we use to say "unpeal the pineapple = descascar um abacaxi"
What you have taught in this lesson is very useful and good for advanced level English learners. Thx.
Thank you Kayla
Deeply appreciate your efforts. You are a great teacher.
Thanks so much Narinder!
Hi Kayla. The colloquial expression used in Belgium (belgiscism) corresponding to " A bone to pick" is "avoir un oeuf à peler avec quelqu'un" (To have an egg to peel with someone). Do note that this expression isn't used in France. "Egg" Implies "hard-boiled egg". Thank you for your dedication to your students. 👍👍🌹
excellent job Thank you Maam 👌
Kayla, I have been watching many videos but yours are the best for me so far because you really teaching the American English spoken in the society and has nothing to do with spoken English in the books. Hi Kayla, I am watching one ofyour vídeos for the first time and I'd like to tell you I have found it really interesting and helpful. I am an English teacher myself and I had never heard some of the idioms before. I have loved the way you have presented them, giving pairs of opposites and illustrating them with everyday situations. I will definitely watch more of your videos!

I established a club, English discussion club in my school as a student. I have 16 members,we can be considered as a big club if u will involve that it's a boutique school. I can't deny, there are several considerate, ambitious and hard working members however there're some couch potatos and gossip girls. They talk behind me, critise my apperance, management way secretly, among their friends so we always have a bone to pick unfortunally, i don't even know how to run my club anymore, give me some wise advices please, i really wanna keep it alive and go forward. I'm burnt out but i will bring rules to obey in club and stand firm about them residual!!

Hey Kayla.
Just want to say that you're doing an amazing job...
Just one thing that I don't really like in some of your videos.
The background music playing during the whole lesson...
I believe my colleagues students would be agree with me that when we watch/listen to those videos one or two times it's okay, but when we have to watch them 5-10 times... that background music sounds way too annoying.
Would you mind making subsequent clips without any background music, please?
Thank you.
Igor.

15:14 tenemos un pollito que comernos ... pick a bone with you, not really common but it does exist.
If you just started learning Mandarin, you have a bone to pick, I can tell you that! In French, vous avez du pain sur la planche. Also, we have a bone to pick, on a un compte à régler. On the same page or on the same wavelength mean the same thing.
